Lekkers are 4mm switches with open bottom, raw he are 3.4mm with semi closed bottom

Raw he are popular right now mostly because they basically sound very clean without the hollow open bottom sound and have a very tight stem with low wobble

Zinc doesnt rust, also shiny. Plastic also doesnt rust. It's a personal preference thing, it will definitely make the keyboard heavier.

I would reccomend looking at videos comparing the cases. It's a $90 up charge. Only you are going to know if it's worth the extra price. Some people mention getting the upgrade on the 80HE because you get a travel case with it.

with the zinc the keyboard will feel more premium and heavier so it will be harder to accidentaly move it. If u have money to throw u can take it if not go on plastic. You are losing nothing in particular, and in the future u can always buy a zinc one

The optical switches are less sensitive and accurate overall. They also don't handle sunlight well.

i used to have the tkl. gifted it to my brother a while back

i started to really dislike the.. switches on the board kinda thing instead of them being recessed

in hindsight i regret replacing it

with the magnetic switches, you could in theory fix them

but they are really simple, i think its just the magneti, stem, spring, top and bottom housings

so I dont see why these would be phased out anytime soon
