The 80he has Lekker 2's, which have supposedly a lot less stem wobble and a bit better calibration than the V1's. Other keyboards are getting v2 and v1.5 meanwhile, but might not be available yet

80he has F-keys closer to 1234, while the Two HE has them offset upwards and to the right which makes them a lot harder to press for me.

80he has 0.125ms scan everywhere, while two he has 1ms (cluster) or 1.3ms (whole board). Not a big deal but marginal.

for example if you have a 1khz mouse and 360hz screen with gsync on, that's 2.78 mouse polls per screen refresh. That means that sometimes your new frame has 3 mouse polls of information, but sometimes it only has 2 despite the same length of real time having passed. As a result of that, some frames cause your cursor (or camera) to move 50% further than others despite the mouse input speed being constant.

It results in things being noticeably less smooth, and paradoxical circumstances like higher framerates being less smooth than lower ones (and generally less smooth than they should be) because of aliasing between the screen update and mouse update rates. I'm personally pretty convinced that this had a huge effect on people saying e.g. "240-360hz is not that big an upgrade!". If you have a 1000hz mouse it works very well on 144 but introduces very substantial motion artifacts on 240-360, so they appear less of a gain. When you go to 4khz that effect disappears and 240-360 look way, way better.

This effect is still significant at 2khz, but basically gone at 4khz with our current monitors. 8k is an extra shot to make sure that it's dead and stays dead.

Yeah. For example 1000/144 = 6.944 which is a fairly high number and also close to an integer so there's little benefit for over 1khz on a 144hz non-gsync monitor.

On the other hand, 500/144 is ~3.48 and that is horribly, horribly jerky. It's jumping between 3 and 4 mouse polls of information each frame basically.

Here's a static picture with a long shutter speed showing the impact of aliasing between monitor update rate and input device polling rate, i took myself with an old phone camera. It's really easily visible to the eye.

first swipe is 500hz on 360, which is obviously terrible. Every three or four frames there are 2 mouse polls of information instead of 1, and the cursor moves twice as far on that frame.

Second one is 2000hz on 360, which is visibly less consistent (and smooth, in e.g. an FPS game) than 4-8khz but it's pretty good. With a constant mouse move speed, the cursor moves a roughly consistent amount per screen update.

On wooting boards there are at least 41 key-press depths and we can press and release keys pretty quickly, so a higher scan and polling rate has the opportunity to track your actual press depth more quickly and reliably for features like rapid trigger or just generally analog motion e.g. racing games. For example if the polling rate is lower you might get a series of inputs such as "0.7mm, 1.1mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm" as you press the button. With a higher rate you can get "0.7mm, 0.8mm, 0.9mm, 1.0mm, 1.1mm" etc. As to that translating into human visible differences, i'm not certain. It might affect the feel of rapid trigger releases a little bit.

a lot of the same stuff applies to kb. The exact significance of it, it's hard to say - there's less research and i've never had a KB myself with over 1000hz scan/report to say if there's any perceptible difference. For mouse though, there clearly is.

Idk like the tech is great from razer and the build materials is usually decent, but the quality control and fine details are always lacking.
