How to disable MEE6 AI

The MEE6 AI feature allows members of your server to use /write, /imagine, and get replies from your Personalized Bot.

To turn it off, you just need to remove the Prefix Commands from your server settings and turn off the Bot Personalizer Backstory. Check this out:

1. Removing the AI Commands

• Go to the Discord server settings
• Click on Safety Setup
• Go to AutoMod
• Click on Block Custom Words
• Add !write and set it to Block message. If you want both AI Commands, type !write, !imagine instead.

2. Removing or Changing Slash Commands permission:

• Go to your Server Settings > Integrations
• Select MEE6 (or your Custom Bot if installed)
• Search for the /write command
• From here, you can edit the command permissions.
• Repeat the process for /imagine (you also do it for other commands: /characters and /mee6-games for example.

3. Turning off Backstory Replies

• Go to https://mee6bot.com/dashboard/ -> select the server -> open Bot Personalizer -> open the Backstory tab -> turn off the toggle

How to disable MEE6 AI

The MEE6 AI feature allows members of your server to use /write, /imagine, and get replies from your Personalized Bot.

To turn it off, you just need to remove the Prefix Commands from your server settings and turn off the Bot Personalizer Backstory. Check this out:

1. Removing the AI Commands

• Go to the Discord server settings
• Click on Safety Setup
• Go to AutoMod
• Click on Block Custom Words
• Add !write and set it to Block message. If you want both AI Commands, type !write, !imagine instead.

2. Removing or Changing Slash Commands permission:

• Go to your Server Settings > Integrations
• Select MEE6 (or your Custom Bot if installed)
• Search for the /write command
• From here, you can edit the command permissions.
• Repeat the process for /imagine (you also do it for other commands: /characters and /mee6-games for example.

3. Turning off Backstory Replies

• Go to https://mee6bot.com/dashboard/ -> select the server -> open Bot Personalizer -> open the Backstory tab -> turn off the toggle

Looking at your messages, the "oops" error is a generic one and there's not enough information for me to diagnose the issue. So I'd suggest you start by checking all bot permissions - see below. If the issues persist after that, feel free to post more information and relevant screenshots in #〉volunteer-support and ping @Helpers for assistance.

Check all bot permissions are correct (see link below).
If you are using a custom bot (bot personaliser) then check the permissions for that in the custom bot server role (NOT the MEE6 role) as it has taken over from MEE6 (which can be kicked if you wish).

If you have removed the Administrator permission from your bot (custom bot if using that), give it back temporarily and see if it then works. If it does, it's a permission issue. If you then want to remove the Administrator permission you'll need to carefully check all bot permissions both in its server role and in all channel roles.

They'll get to yours as soon as they can. 🙂

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a MEE6 Additional Bot Master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.

I am having the issue where it is not assigning the join on role. When I set up the Welcome and Goodbye plugin, all of that works correctly but when i tried to create a new role for the 'Give a role to new users' part - it wont save the changes made

Configuring Custom Bots

Trying to change your MEE6's name, avatar, or even status description? Let's see how:

First, make sure:

‣ You have at least a monthly premium with an additional custom bot or yearly/lifetime plans which comes with it included
‣ You can invite new bots by going to your Browser Settings and looking for "Window Popup Blocker" and disabling it

1. Visit your Discord Developer Portal
1.1 Open https://discord.com/developers/applications/ in your browser
1.2 Click on New Application (Top right)
1.3 Go to General Information and select a profile picture and edit the name for the last time if needed.
1.4 Next, click on the Bot tab on the left menu
1.5 Now, on the Authorization Flow, enable all the Privileged Gateway Intents options (3 in total)
1.6 Finally, click on regenerate and copy the token located below the username

2. Linking to MEE6
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz/dashboard
2.2 Click on the Custom Bot tab, on the left menu
2.3 Next, simply click on MEE6 face and paste the token at the correct place
2.4 Now, a popup window should appear, where you just need to authorize the custom bot

3. I got it!!!
3.1 Now that you have got the custom bot, feel free to kick the original MEE6 from your server (you will need to add it back, in case something happens to your custom bot).
3.2 Make sure to bring the custom bot back to the top of Server Settings -> Roles so it can continue to fully operate like the original MEE6.

So what's the issue?

Likely the first time the transaction didn't happen. Possibly your bank's automated systems will have marked that as pending and that won't fully go through. Sometimes this happens with banks with transactions that aren't familiar to them.
In the first instance you should contact your bank about this to check the status of these to ensure that only 1 payment is being made.

can someone explain why copy pasting anything in an embed will work 25% of the time...this would save me hours

If you're going to copy & paste into an embed, you should first paste into a plain text editor (eg Textpad on Windows, TextEdit on Mac) and then copy paste from that into an embed.
This is because many text editors like Word, which support rich text (fonts, styles etc) have lots of hidden code/characters that you don't see that creates these. These hidden code/characters can cause issues when pasted into embeds and other places which don't support these. Pasting into a plain text editor first, then copy pasting from that strips out the hidden code/characters and should resolve any issues.

You currently have 2 ways of getting your premium transferred:

1 - Using the direct link

2 - Visiting the server with premium

• Visit https://mee6.xyz/dashboard/ -> open the server with premium -> click on premium tab
• Now, you just have to select Transfer premium subscription to another server

Disclaimer:

• The destination server must have MEE6 on it.

• You must be the admin/owner/bot master of the destination server in order to see it on the selector.

You just need to set the destination server and then transfer.

Which would be proof that you owned a Discord account that was banned. Other billing information too, you'll see that currently in MEE6 Billing and you'll likely have had an email with billing information in it too.
I don't know more details than that, it would be up to MEE6 staff to determine that.
My advice still stands - don't get your account banned by Discord.

If you have MEE6 Pro you will get 50% XP boost in all MEE6 servers that have the Pro XP boost enabled.
Admins of Premium servers can disable the Pro boost if they wish.
Only Admins in those servers would know if it's enabled or disabled.
So you'll have to ask in a specific server with those Admins.

I’ve never had issues with mee6 before until I bought lifetime premium for another discord server tried setting up the bot personalizer and I physically cannot get passed it I know how to do it it just won’t work I click the button where it says authorize perms did that takes me to the page at the beginning I try to hit enable bot personalizer again and then it says “authorize command perms your almost done click button below and there’s like absolutely no button there lol I’m just stuck it’s not letting me enable it ☠️

Then it I guess times out because I have to put all the info into it again I been messing with it for over an hour now checking to see if I missed something and went over everything and yea just not letting me get passed

Typically to check your rank, you use /rank slash command or the legacy !rank command, unless they have changed it or restricted the command usage to certain channels - so the admins of that server will need to tell you how.

How to disable MEE6 AI

The MEE6 AI feature allows members of your server to use /write, /imagine, and get replies from your Personalized Bot.

To turn it off, you just need to remove the Prefix Commands from your server settings and turn off the Bot Personalizer Backstory. Check this out:

1. Removing the AI Commands

• Go to the Discord server settings
• Click on Safety Setup
• Go to AutoMod
• Click on Block Custom Words
• Add !write and set it to Block message. If you want both AI Commands, type !write, !imagine instead.

2. Removing or Changing Slash Commands permission:

• Go to your Server Settings > Integrations
• Select MEE6 (or your Custom Bot if installed)
• Search for the /write command
• From here, you can edit the command permissions.
• Repeat the process for /imagine (you also do it for other commands: /characters and /mee6-games for example.

3. Turning off Backstory Replies

• Go to https://mee6bot.com/dashboard/ -> select the server -> open Bot Personalizer -> open the Backstory tab -> turn off the toggle
