Having problems muting someone/they aren't muted? Check the following

Prerequisites:

• Moderator plugin is enabled
• !mute command isn't disabled
• Bot has role with Manage Roles and Manage Channels permissions
• Muted role is under MEE6 role
• You're trying to mute someone using !mute @mention reason, otherwise it will not work

If user got Muted role but still can talk means there's issue with your channel permissions
Go to Channel Settings -> Permissions

• If that's public channel that can be accessed by anyone:

• Set Send Messages for all roles except Muted
• Set Send Messages for Muted role

• If that's secret channel that requires *special* role to access it:

• Set Send Messages Read Messages for special role
• Set Send Messages Read Messages for Muted role
• Set Send Messages Read Messages for @​everyone role

Regex is a method to search for text by specific pattern. Although a regular text search should be enough here already. Every type of database supports this message to search

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account

Safari doesn’t have built in VPN, ios does but I have it turned off in settings. I tried multiple internet connections, wifi or data connection, however only on my mac I was able to use dashboard. This started happening just now, it used to work fine, so it’s weird, something had to change.

Yeah tried to turn that off as well of course, sadly it just loads and becomes unresponsive and then just black screen with generic error from safari that page couldn’t be loaded. It only happens on ios iphone devices, my friend reported it as well but I am not sure about his configuration. Just so that he has iphone with ios as well. I am on the latest ios and therefore latest safari version as well.

Yeah, there is an option in safari to turn off all content blockets at once, no change after turning it off. I can try, but since ios is kind of different than android, all browsers still use the same core from safari as ios doesn’t allow them to use their own. But I will install chrome and try.

One to select a language (works perfectly, I can edit it without losing all the previous reactions)
One to validate our serv's rules (works on the server, but is considered as a Draft on MEE6, and when I click on this draft, the text has been erased...). I want to edit my rules message but if I do, I'll lose all the previous reactions (because the message is considered as draft and "never published". Smth I don't want to happen 😅

So my question is: would it be possible to have a contact with the support to solve this problem? I remember a similar problem happened last week and several of us (admins of different servs) came here for help.

Hi,
i've been trying to copy my list of swear words in the Moderator module from Swear words (exact match) to the list below, checking every part of the words.

While the words show up properly as blue bubbles each when i copy/paste them and press the comma button once, they aren't saved when i press save/close. Adding words manually to that second list works.

I mark the list, press Ctrl+C

ctrl+v brings up this

And if i add a comma after word1, all words seem properly formated. Same as the first pic. Yet they don't get saved at all. The lower list is empty when opening it again.

There are two important things before wiping levels...

1. You will need any of the following permissions to reset the levels on leaderboard:

+ Ownership
+ Administrator
+ Bot master

2. Take this in consideration

- It is not possible to "accidentally delete a level/xp" as there's a confirmation button before you go ahead
- This is a permanent action and the only way of recovering the lost level/xp is unlocking premium and using /give-xp @member

But how can I delete it?

• Go to your server and type /levels
• Or, visit https://mee6.xyz/dashboard/ -> click on leaderboard -> click on see leaderboard button
• Next, hover the mouse on the member's name and click Reset XP
• Alternatively, you can reset the entire server's xp

I cannot get the Instagram counter to work. Twitter counter works fine. Reddit counter works fine. But, every time I try to create the Instagram counter, I always get "counter was not created" error. I'm pretty sure that I am configuring it right, as the same setup works for the other counters. The search for my Instagram account comes up with the correct name and thumbnail.

Premium user using the auto dj in a voice channel.
Selecting the voice channel and having mee6 join. after that i click play and it works.
HOWEVER it stops at random. users cant use the play command (thats a known issue)
It also just randomly leaves the voice channel. when i go back into the dashboard i can redo it all again but it will bail on me again.

This is a big letdown cause i got premium for this and the roles. im liking the program but would love to hear about a possible fix

Role Hierarchy

The role position, and permission are crucial to enable your bot to give roles.

* Visit your server settings -> roles

1. Locate the bot's role and bring it upper than the roles you're expecting MEE6 or Custom Bot to give out.

2. Open the role settings, on the same page, and ensure it has at least Manage Roles permission. Giving Administrator sorts this and many other issues you might have.

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.
