No, you cannot.
At best you could document the coordinates of the star system you're in and portal there to get the same freighter design, but the class will most likely not be the same unless you spend much time finding many different spawns of it

Locate a Trade Outpost.
Stand at the Trade Outpost with a Save Beacon/Save Point in front of you and set your Restore Point using it.
Once 5 ships have landed on it's landing pads, Reload Restore Point to force all currently active ships to despawn and a whole new batch to respawn.

You'd need Sentinel Boundary Maps, which can't be directly bought for Navigation Data. They have a few sources, mainly defeating sentinels though defeating wave 5 of sentinel ground units will also mark a Sentinel Pillar for you
I think if a planet's sentinel pillars don't contain a royal multitool, then all of them on that planet won't have them but not fully certain of that

You can only find royal multitools at Sentinel Pillars, which don't require fighting to locate/access but fighting sentinels or looting Salvageable Scrap is the quickest way of obtaining Sentinel Boundary Maps
Sentinel Pillars can also contain Rifle, Pistol and Experimental Multi-Tools I believe, but Royal ones are exclusive to them

You could just check each Space Station, as each one has two Multi-Tools that can be either Pistol, Rifle, Experimental or Alien (the latter two are somewhat rare though)

You can add more technology slots at a Starship Outfitting Terminal using either Storage Augmentations or boatloads of Units, with the amount of slots you can add only being limited by their class

Can Superconductors or planetary gases (Radon, Sulphur, etc) be bought from space/outlaw station npc ships?
They cannot. At best, you could setup a gas extractor farm for one gas and then refine it into the others #nms-questions message

To unlock Autophage race in the Appearance Modifier, the player must have unlocked at least 1 Autophage helmet (by exchanging Void Motes at autophage/harmonic camp terminals)

You can build staffs during/after completing the mission "They Who Returned" that comes after completing the main story and doing another not very obvious thing #nms-commands message

for my mining multitool, the supercharge slots are all spread out. is it better to use adjacency or just supercharge components and adjacent the rest?

The bonus from supercharging itself is far greater than adjacency, so placing the mining beam and it's upgrades in those will be most beneficial

There is some nuances about what tool model spawns in a particular toolbox, I don't know the details, but I know that saving and reloading can make the MT box spawn with a different model

go to a planet, seek knowledge stones, melee + jetpack around. should be able to learn 20+ words per hour
Usually either go to different space stations and learn them from lifeforms, or drive in an exocraft on a flat-ish world and seek out knowledge stones
if melee boosting only leads to 20 words per hour, exocraft is way better
though Engine/Boost upgrades are somewhat necessary
remember that you can install 3 of each of those
Using a space station is way faster, you get around 12-15 words per space station and you can warp to multiple
i just hate selecting dialogue options personally. feels like i spend forever in the menu
It's fun to do while you're already there for one or two other reasons

You can warp to many outlaw systems in your starship until you find one of the 20% of them that always begin a battle when you warp to them

Question: In theory, S rank organic frigates should be the best type frigates because they always have that stat boost from their class, but still has all of the stat boosts from going on expeditions, right? Or am I missing something?

Since corvettes are a type of starship, they each take up a starship slot. The sole difference is that corvettes cannot be archived at the Starship Archive

Many core tech benefit from supercharged slots, but all except weapons don't benefit more than supercharging the upgrades

you might as well take them all down, you need the mirrors for restoring the sentinel ships anyways

Neither is it mine, cause like with the number items and the fact that it can be 1, 2 or 3 items per recipe.... It's like too random
overdose would just result in largely different outcomes than the parent.

You have to be overseer and work it up to a point that productivity is greater than the debt being generated. Species and settlement structures will determine what can be fabricated.

Once you've completed the introduction / tutorial and you start warping to explore space you can start the search for your first free freighter.
is the very forst freighter also after 3h minimum played or only the 5 warps?

Im kind of confused. I get a screen where i can upgrade my exosuit. Are these improvements only obtaineable via upgrades or do they exist in space stations as separate purcheasable modules? These upgrades says "C" class for example. Can i find a A Class thermic layer or something etc
@scarlet timber I would suggest warping to stations and exiting your ship to create restore points. That way if you stumble into a pirate rescue you can reload as necessary.
This screen is from the exosuit specialist on the anomaly. They will tech these blueprints to you in exchange for nanites. Eventually you will probably want to learn most if not all of them.

They are different. I believe you are thinking of upgrade modules that improve core tech.
The exosuit blueprints on the anomaly can also improve core technology or add functionality.

Nexus missions seems pretty bugged. Are we not meant to play it solo? First one, I was supposed to rescue sone dude. Did the work and handed him something, and he disappears into his ship and it flies off. Then I thought, all good, time for me to go, so i fly off too, but then i realized the quest wasnt done so I returned and landed, only to see that dude still there. But now i cant talk to him

When you run Nexus missions it is advisable to check the mission log as well as the help tooltip in the lower right of the screen for the steps you may need to follow for completion.

How to Expand the Base Boundary

It's blueprint is unlocked from the mission "A Trace of Metal", but it's blueprint should only be pinned if you've reached the point in the mission that gives you it's blueprint

So I’ve been putting off trace of metal because my I need to upgrade my multi tool before I finish popping the walker in my settlement. I’ve just got the paralyze upgrade, and I should be set to finish the quest, but I’m worried because I’ve tried everything else to get it. That flamethrower attack is powerful. I’m hoping I can hide in a hole until it’s dead. I have killed one of them this way without a paralyze upgrade in the past. Now pupper interceptors have started showing up. They hop into the holes I hide in. Are there any other tips for this boss I might use?
You can disable it's attacks for quite a long time by shooting at it's leg armor
Also, you can purchase defense system upgrade modules from the exosuit tech merchant aboard space stations, and weapon upgrades from the multitool tech merchant

para mortar trivializes fights, but i'd suggest to 1) learn how to melee jetpack if you havent already, to be highly mobile during the fight 2) like grouch mentioned, take out its legs first, while it's down shoot off torso and then head. 3) feel free to post a screenshot of your MT inventory, perhaps there's some tips you're missing

I assume you can summon the anomaly as soon as you travel to another system but I don't have a hyperdrive, neither do distress signal ships, there are no black holes or crashed interceptors, and in this expedition there are no starship traders. You can buy Boltcaster Upgrade Modules from Space Station Multi-Tool Tech Merchant, each one will offer them at a different class. S-Class upgrades aren't rare, only a little expensive
If you haven't done so in a while, you could try uploading all of your discoveries and speaking to Iteration: Helios and Ares to see if they have more Nanites for you
@gusty vapor otoh, if you had no weapon upgrades installed, just boltcaster, damage scaling would bring them back to make it doable, even easy

I don't recall how exactly, though. Some mention an initial speedup after take-off, some differentiate boost speeds in lower atmospheric flight. Has anyone noticed a significant benefit? So far, the launchers seemed a skip-worthy tech for corvettes. Thoughts? Cheers!
It exclusively affects starship speed from the "boost" button
it does not impact takeoff speeds whatsoever to my knowledge
note that "Boost" is only affective for it's first ~20%

Those also enable travel to Red Star Systems
You could also possibly pin Cadmium in the Catalogue to locate a red star system

how much shall i farm before i do the story quests? im that dude that fights the first boss at level 1000 casue im doing all the side stuff, in this game bit of exploring and mining to stopckpile ressources in case i need them. how much is necessary tho before doing all the main quests? and how long are those main quests taking you ?
The main story is somewhat of an extended tutorial, so it's usually advised to not put it off
i finished the main quest and basically did nothing but the quests since i started
found no issue with power being too low
the main story is only a few hours long, and is also required to be completed before missions that unlock endgame stuff like the Autophage and Purple Star Systems can be began #nms-commands message
a good ship is helpful when you have to fight sentinels in space tho

How does the sentinel dog phasing through ground/walls work? They seem a bit unpredictable. I thought they dig down into my tunnel, but then they disappear and phase back above, almost like they are jumping/glitch-phasing

not well known, they're not really supposed to be able to do this, but they've been so for a while. strongly recommend using paralysis mortar to stun them when on the surface and take them out

The easiest way of doing that mission is to destroy the 3 towers, and immediately use the terminal to shut sentinels down

iirc, it actually does force you to go through 5 waves

I'm not sure I'd go so far as to claim they are equal, but perhaps it would be accurate to say that all fully upgraded weapons are overkill for all enemies the game has to offer.
I am in the process of trying out the different weapons (Neutron cannon, boltcaster and pulse spitter), and while I used to like Neutron cannon, I may be leaning towards boltcaster these days
I didn't like the neutron cannon much in the early and midgame, but upgrade it enough and you no longer have to charge it. Just look at and click to delete targets

a cabinet is the "terminal" you interact with to check out a multitool - in regular stations, there's 2
there's other locations with more cabinets too though, e.g. minor settlements
in these situations, you could try to delete fleet command room, and rebuild it, but yeah if that doesnt work, just abort

Due to them not being an asset that is loaded planetside, they disappear until you enter space again

The Artemis Path is the main story. The Atlas Path is somewhat of a side thing, it was originally the main story before The Artemis Path was introduced and is far shorter and less story oriented

No, purple systems are current endgame content. You unlock them after completing the story
You can simply go do the mission that unlocks purple star systems in any save, after completing it's prerequisites #nms-commands message
Purple star systems are not exclusive to a community expedition
Bringing back the Atlantid drive from an expedition does not unlock purple systems, only completing the mission prerequisites will do that (and must be done on any save you want to access them on)

I'm assuming you're referring to your freighter: yes, your freighter base layout is transferred to your next freighter, given you select "Yes" when it prompts you if you'd like to do so, which appears right before finalizing the exchange #nms-questions message

They're almost never reran outside of the year that they initially ran during, besides a few rare occasions like the Exp 2 (normandy exp) reruns for the last 2 years of holiday expeditions
I have a question i would like to ask:
The corvette engine trails have this really cool flame type animation but it's not always visible (for me I got to see this trail like 3-4 times only and yes it does work with colored ones aswell) most of the time it's your regular starship like trail
I have not put those specific trails which have their own animation tho
Any idea if it's a big or am I missing something?
Those special effects only display when the accelerate button is held with those specific trails installed
The trail on the left seems to be the Temporal Trail from Expedition 7: Leviathan
Note that holding the boost button without holding the accelerate button will not play full engine effects, this is most likely an oversight

That trail effect could also be the Plasma Starship Trail, but that one's effects are quite different when boosting

All planets do, just that sometimes the charts are indeed annoying
I even destroyed all the waves of sentinels to find one that way, and it still gave me a location on another planet...
Maybe that planet just anomalously doesn't have any sentinel pillars

Another question I've been meaning to ask: is it a common bug that freighter captains do not reward you after inviting you to their freighter when flying a corvette starship? And does NMS have a public known bugs list that they update regularly

They travel far faster in-atmosphere than any other type of starship and have the ability to hover in place. They also have halved launch fuel costs and use different resources for recharging their unique core technology, which also have different stats than normal (the hyperdrive has +600LY instead of +100LY)
