I find that most of the "rockpaperscissor" charts give wrong impressions about the data, as do the infos given when you read the strong against weak against info presented in game... They make it feel like there are more weaknesses than there are.

Each "suit" has ONE suit they dominate over completely.... not two. Which is how it feels with those charts.

Maybe I shoudl have inverted the chart, but to me this was easier to use.

Yes, but be careful when selling items in bulk. Don’t sell the items at the Trade Terminals, instead wait for a pilot to land and the sell your duped items to them.

This will make sure you don’t destabilize the economy in that system for that item.

well, too small creatures mostly (idk if there is a big creature size limit for riding), but that rule also applies to weird planet creatures (floating/rolling orb-shaped ones are the most common)

A lot of Paradise / Lush planets have extreme storms. Hang out a bit and see if any appear (they are frequent usually). If there are bubbles floating around, there will not be storms -- those are the ideal Paradise planets to build a base on IMHO.

Aggressive Sentinels are the only problematic ones. High Activity is a minor inconvenience, too, but less so.

Someone might have worked out more details, but as far as I can tell, they will sometimes give your creature an "extra" move in battles that it does on its own. I had one that would give itself an evasion buff every once in a while. Not sure if there are specific triggers, or the timing was random.

Personally, I prefer Starships to Corvettes. Mostly due to their small size, so they're easier to land on planets, especially those with a lot of elevation changes or solid obstacles.

I built a base on a nice Paradise planet. The weather was great for quite a while, then when I was nearly done, it kept havign superheated thunderstorms every 5 minutes and even finishing the base was a pain. I eventually moved it and restored the terrain.

Is there a smoothing terrain tool?

Building a base in each biome in order to farm the native plants (Solanium, Frost Crystals, Cactus, etc.) is VERY useful. Also, setting up automated resource collectors and storage.

Middle mouse switches the terrain manipulator mode. "Flatten" is what you are looking for

No no like when u play city skylines 2 or jurrasic world evolution there is a thing to smooth terrain so its alot more smooth without having it look like i terraformed and looks natural while flatter

There is no smoothing tool per se. You can use the flatten tool on bits that stick out and it'll flatten it a bit, or use the mine tool and the smallest radius on little outcrops to trim it back

You don;t need to absolutely flatten a large area with the flatten tool, think of it as a "cut everything above this line in this small radius" tool.

And the exact height it cuts is based on the terrain you are on, so you have some control. Build a little platform or place a tile to set a certain height

You can recreate a decent somewhat smoothed, natural landscape using the mine, create, and flatten tools, and just use restore if you mess up
