The nutrient ingestor straight up broke hazards and did not stop once the 10 minutes were up...I had to reload. I was sitting in an extreme heat storm and my chargeable protections were no longer draining...nothing was draining, and my jetpack didn't get the heat storm bonus, and while lightning was active the particle effects weren't. I was walking in an extreme storm like it was a sunny day on a paradise world.

Yeah about 8 hours is a good estimate for a fresh new save....have to make some units initially, which you can do with a quick trade route...don't need much, just enough to afford a ship. Then camp in a Korvax station to get some kind of S class explorer, then scan some creatures on a few worlds to make like 3k nanites to get some S hyperdrive modules and buy the hyperdrive blueprints, then install all the bits, craft like 20 warp hypercores and you're good to warp to the center. 4 hours should be enough for prep work and 4 hours of warping at most.

By the way if you have the Boundary herald it is a more than serviceable ship for a run to the center on permadeath...it's not an an amazing explorer but more than good enough. It will save you time from having to camp for S class explorer.

Another strategy is if you can quickly toss together a corvette and install the mission board you can use its plant killing missions to guide you to traveler graves the missions don't use...interact with graves for portal glyphs...then use glyphs to portal close to the center. Then any S modules will do even on a trashy C class corvette to get you to the center but you'll still need the indium drive installed in the corvette and a fuel top-up before diving into the center.

The game doesnt being scientific is both a good thing and bad thing, ı mean black holes are not even black holes, they’re more like einstein-rosen bridges (which collapses when something with a mass enters it) and gas giants? I would be totally fine if devs called it “Venusian worlds” or “Titans” but they’re definitely not gas giants. I found a couple outlaw systems in the previous galaxy I was in that always spawned the battle and were close enough I could just warp back and forth in with my ship.

Farmed up a bunch of S class modules but think I still have some to get yet.
I don't have the coords for those immediately handy and they are in some galaxy after 10, easy enough for me to get to I have a base in a nearby system...
But figured I'd look in Elucid also so if someone wants to farm that fight I'd have coords handy. One way I spend my evenings playing NMS lol.

That'll help a lot for finding a mining system, you can buy the blueprint at the anomaly. Salvaged data is kind of a grind, digging it up manually or getting a few as a reward for a mission are the only way to get it

Yeah forced cross play on Halo infinite actually ruined multi-player for me. At least MCC I was fine with it because you had the option to restrict it by input type so no matter what everyone had to use a controller.

But unless the game has a universal username like Minecraft uses your MS account, it is always annoying. Like unless the person you add is on the game at the same time you dont know if they are on at all so you can't invite them to be like yo wanna jump on. Plus game chat is never as good as party chat.

PC people are used to doing that what with like people using discord to chat even tho steam has a chat feature.

What? You don't need units to get an interceptor...you can't buy interceptors. Just go to a populated dissonant system, find a dissonant planet, mine the disonance resonators until you get an echo locator, find a camp and use it to find a crashed interceptor...if you're lucky the camp will have a great sentinel multitool too.

You'll want to find a dissonant star system, and then a dissonant planet in that system. You can either defeat all the sentinels on the ground, use a beacon from defeating all the sentinels in space to mark a crashed interceptor. you can also do it from a dissonant camp. There's ALSO a mission that will lead you to an interceptor that you'll eventually be given if you want to do things in "order"

Solar systems in the galactic map have descriptors in orange text, go to systems with the term "dissonant"...once there scan the planets from space and look for ones that say "dissonant", land there, use binoculars and look for weird antena symbols...mine those until you get something called an echo locator...use it and go to the location it marked and go from there.

They sentinels will come after you if you fire on a dissonance resonator, they're harder to get away from in your starship, so probably best to do it from the ground. If you're in a pirate system though there aren't any sentinels and shooting them from your ship is much faster

Visit different autophage terminals at autophage camps and construct a staff, if it doesn’t have the colour you want, repeat, alternatively I did write up a guide for rolling the same cabinet due to how seeds are generated. You can try this allows more outcomes from the one cabinet.

Atlas staff is an expedition reward, no longer obtainable as the expedition is long past its date and rerun.

But as stated stat bonuses are small and their difference won’t be all that noticeable once you upgrade the tool with your ideal tech and modules.

At the end of the day just go with what you like and how it looks, the damn thing stays on your screen for most of the game time

The atlas staff has kind of mid stats for a staff, so even if you can get it it's not a clear upgrade over a good sentinel multitool

I don't know how the stats rolled on my sentinel over the course of upgrading it but am happy with it. Better than the starter ship and has good looks.

The combination of two main mining beam modules is outright better than not, just because they stack, this would be the only instance I could say having an Atlantid multitool or sentinel multitool specialised in mining would be better than anything else.

Atlantid has the highest stat bonus for mining, again negligible
