I can't remember if I talked about how I got into No man's sky. But yeah I played at launch and I've played on and off over the years and yeah I missed alot of things.

What's interesting is I had a premonition that the game was going to be fixed. I however didn't expect it to be like it is today lol.

This game seems so different to how it was at launch (and more, how people were talking about it). I joined when corvettes came out, seeing all the happy people showcasing their builds. I wanted to jump into that community. So far, I'm enjoying it. 🙂

Yeah 2016 was a wild time for the game lol. Also alot of us are very friendly. I haven't done multi-player yet since I'm usually a lone wolf but it's true that this community is wholesome!

I also have to admit but somehow I got the game on every platform. 😅

Yeah! It's still wild how I'm still learning and discovering things too. Other day I went to a buried ruin and I noticed a monolith icon but it wasn't so I dig and was surprised that there were actually stuff buried there.

In the sense that it is actually effecting my main save's settlement/items/etc. (not a separate mini-game thing).

Do I need to build the stuff it's asking me before I abandon it? I only built the main room with the teleporter an all.

Wait for 5 ships to land, then reload

Keep doing that until one spawns, it’s a 1/301 for an exotic to spawn and 1/25 for a specific systems exotic to be a squid

If an exotic spawns, or you see one in the sky, and it’s not a squid, you switch to a different system

All systems have exactly one exotic model, so if one exotic spawns you can’t get a different exotic from that same system

Why is this game so addicting? It's hard to play something else. My backlog is freezing, and I like it.

Not sure, but I can say that this is definitely my "default" game. It's chill, doesn't demand much of me, and I can jump in and out of it quickly. That's kind of what I look for these days.

There's so much to do in NMS but I always enjoy exploration.
I can just visit planets or fly for hours.

I know I haven't even done a quarter of the activities available in the game.

Mainly the ships because I really just want to explore the world but it just seems so complicated to just get a good ship.

I like to say there's no right or wrong way to play No Man's Sky.
You can follow the quests which explain the basics. Then do as you please.

That's what I've been doing since the beginning.

Do you have a decent one now? It will take some units to get a new one.

Stick with radiant pillar for now, good enough as a starting ship, once u will learn how to earn units, u can buy a new fresh ship with more storage and maybe better class

This may or may not be a good advice, but Twitch drops (when available) and expeditions can give you good rewards. That includes ships and multi-tools.
