2 questions

1. What should I prioritize in early game? Im finding at the moment the biggest hindrances are lack of tech/cargo spaces in my various equipment
2. I have been keeping myself mostly in the same solar system I started in to do everything in there but am I just unnecessarily limiting myself? Does it matter? Will there always be plenty of stuff to do no matter how long I stay in a solar system?

My chosen way of making nanites (only way I go) is scanning all fauna on a planet. If you do, you get 250 nanites per fauna. So, a planet with 10 fauna = 2500 nanites (if you scan them all and submit the scan)

My exocraft usage increased a ton when I brought back the suit summoning tech from titan

Yeah the titan expedition gives you access to a lot of stuff you shouldn't have otherwise. A little quartzite and a little crystallized helium and you can synthesize more of both

Ok. There's a fairly easy way to get an s class. Jump and make a save in each system before you jump again. Once you get the battle if its the type of freighter you want then finish the battle and check its stats. If the class is what you want take it. If not reload your save and Jump to the same system again. The same freighter will spawn again but the class can be different.

I myself don't like to put mining laser in supercharged because it increase its heat sink effect too much. Takes it too long to heat up and feels counterproductive.

You don't want to have you mining beam overheat. But keeping it at 85-95% heat lets you mine a lot faster.

But you don't want it to take too long to get to that point either.

Been sending my frigates on missions for a bit now. Net some decent profits, and some resources. Can't wait for them to level up so I can send them in more profitable missions :>

Your best bet is finding a small planet or even better a small moon with salvaged scrap on it. You can see whether or not it has it when you scan it from space. And if you're having trouble finding a specific part to build your first you can always buy one from the Corvette terminal in the space station if it's available.

You need landing gear, reactor, weapon, have, cockpit and access way. Once you have that you can build your first.

From then on it's really easy to farm parts. Because you can hover in mid-air over a planet, mark the location of scrap with your visor, fly to it and collect it by shooting it from the air. Then scan your next and keep repeating.
