you don't really need anything but it's probably a good idea to follow a guide and to prep because you only have a couple of days and it will take you probably 8 hrs or longer if you don't.

Pick sodium, cadmium, metals , your favorite multitool, and favorite ship,runaway mould, hydraline brains (put in refiner for many nanites you'll have to buy your ship and tool back and it can be 3,000 nanites, but if you bring hydraline brains, you can get a lot fast

Wiring loom are ultra cheap...just dig up a few salvaged data and sell them...takes literally five minutes. No reason to screw around looking for player bases hoping they load in and actually grow stuff you can sell or whatever. Wiring looms cost almost nothing.

I like figuring out the addresses of each planet, I need it for an exploration log document I use, but having to individually check every single planet's entire glyph address gets a bit repetitive and annoying, when the only glyph that changes in a system is the first one

I don't want to say it's based on the leftmost list because the list of my present system lists the prime planet as first, when prime planets are never the first. the first seems to be the planet nearest to you when you warp in i.e. where the station is next to

As long as you don't use those coords to make trap bases and such we don't judge you

Well you can have a maximum of 400 bases. So it's all a matter of how much you distribute at each base.

Not sure if you're on PC but you can download save editors that allow you to see the part count of each base and save file you have

Well speaking from experience you'd be amazed how far 21,000 base parts can go.

And being on console you would be hard-pressed to hit that 3,000 part base limit. Simply due to excessive objects slowing down loading. And lagging base part generation around you eventually.

You can still get the past 2000. But the bigger you go you'll see what I mean

if you are, like me, bad with combat, neutron cannon

and maybe paralysis mortar as secondary weapon
