These contain runaway mould. Which you refine into nanites.

Build a simple base with a teleporter and some refiners.

It respawns the deposit when you get about 300u+ away. So walk away, come back and farm it when you need nanites.

Well of the four recipes I gave you three of them require Lumpden doughnuts.

I would suggest building up a stack of like three or four hundred lumpeden donuts before getting serious about using foods frequently.

When I drop below 100 Lumpden I make a few hundred more. Because it goes super fast being used in all your recipes

Early on you can feed creatures creature pellets and farm eggs and milk. Build up stacks of these things early to get you going on your recipes.

You can get yourself a nutrient processor to cook food and a nutrient injestor to consume food for your backpack pretty early too. The only advanced part of the recipe is lubricant. Which wouldn't be hard to source in the end.

Click on any of those food items and it will bring you to to the recipe list. You can click on any of the related ingredients to find it source too

The only annoying part is if you don't have the auto feeder or the auto collector tech. Since you have to hand feed and hand collect everything.

So try and pick up those techs if you haven't yet. You can set yourself up Little farms that you visit occasionally and rack up a lot of resources off your animals quickly

I normally get 75-80fps avg all settings Ultra at 2560x1440 - Ryzen 7 7700X (32GB), GTX-1080Ti (11GB). But sometimes -- and it hasn't happened in a few days -- I'd land where there are other corvettes (planets) and fps would drop to 20-25fps very oddly. If I save and exit and reload, FPS goes back to normal. Hadn't seen this before corvettes, and might have been fixed (I am running experimental builds and take the patches as they come).

Worlds II update moved a lot of geometry calculation from CPU to GPU, so a GPU without much headroom before Worlds II might be struggling after that update. It's mentioned somewhere in the release materials around Worlds II by HG. I saw my CPU meters reflect the lighter load after the update (I run without vsync so GPU load is always 100% -- so harder to see what it's breakdown is). But performance improved for me with that update, but I feel like updates since have brought it down a bit -- I feel like it's corvettes doing it.

I guess Windows 11's multitasking model gives more time to apps running full-screen than in a window, as compared to Windows 10. This month Nvidia ended driver support for the 10-series cards (among others) and I might wait until I am forced to move to a new GPU to move to Windows 11 at the same time.

now that I think about it there's something that doesn't make sense to me, when you're inside the Derliect Freighters it says they're a gravitatonal anomaly and prevents the use of jetpacks. My thing is how is this so? If the freighter has been inopt and wrecked for so long, outside of the computers running on their own seperate power away from the main one(which is probably breached and failed) then 9 times out of 10 wouldn't the gravity well inside the ship be gone too? How is gravity still a thing

It isn't supposed to make much sense -- it has to have gravity (and slow movements, no jetpack etc.) for gameplay reasons. Calling it a gravitational "anomaly" means they don't need to explain further lol.

When you unlock the door it specifically says that the artificial gravity can't be turned back on, I think there's something somewhere that says your boots are magnetized to the floor which is why you walk slow and can't jetpack

I was looking at corvette rewards the other day and I think one of the past expedition rewards is you can recruit a phantom freighter to join your fleet, that's kinda errie and kinda cool, don't know how that even works

Almost all rendezvous points are on abandoned buildings, and you can farm lots of whispering eggs there; they refine into nanites in a nice ratio.

If any of you have an Nvidia GPU you should load up the retro sci-fi filter when you go in derelict freighter salvaging.

It has all the screen pops and static that you get from Old Time horror and sci-fi movies. It really sets the atmosphere nicely
