HeartOctoberSky October Sky 2025 HalloweenAtlas

This year's contest features a new format based on community feedback -- designed to make participation a little smoother, more accessible, and better aligned with community needs. Below is a summary of important changes from previous contests. But please make sure to review all rules.

What's New

  • We only have 5 categories:
    • 🎨 One requires artistic creativity with heavy screenshot edits or fully crafted art. No generative AI.
    • One is 🍦Vanilla: only Photo Mode filters allowed. No mods, shaders, or external edits.
  • You'll have one week to prepare before the contest officially begins.
    • Join the 📆 Discord Event by clicking 🔔 Interested to be notified when submissions open.
  • Starting <t:1760976000:D>, you'll have one week to submit your entries via #contact-us.
  • After submissions have closed on <t:1761580800:D>, voting opens for 3 days through <t:1761840000:D>.
    • Secret Mystery alert! Submissions will be anonymous during voting (images won't include names).
  • On <t:1761926400:D>, we'll reveal the winners and honorable mentions, who will earn the HeartOctoberSky <@&761221560433770506> role (just like in previous contests).
  • As part of our 6th Year October Sky Halloween celebration (with our new contest format), we're introducing an additional role with a holographic style: <@&1428256672119390328>, awarded to each category winner!

-# exclaim Role Clarifications (as of <t:1760598411:D>)
-# • In addition to <@&761221560433770506>, the five category winners in this contest will also receive <@&1428256672119390328>.
-# • This role will be featured in future contests as well, including <@&936231125670588418> and <@&849987987265421342>, so if you're unable to participate this time, you'll still have a chance to earn it later.
-# • While winners' names will show the glow, this role won't be grouped or hoisted separately in the Members member list. It also won't have a role icon, so other Sky contest role icons will remain visible, rotating seasonally as usual.

Don't forget to AtlasPrideget the server announcements role to be notified for each phase of this event: from submissions to voting to the final reveal!

🤖 No AI

  • DoNot Submissions created using generative AI tools -- including platforms like DALL·E, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or workflows involving ChatGPT to generate image prompts -- are not allowed. This includes any software that produces images from text prompts or autonomous synthesis.
  • Members who break this rule are subject to disqualification from the entire event.
  • Images must be originally captured or created by the entrant using traditional in-game photography, illustration, or manual digital art techniques.
  • Unless specified otherwise (e.g., 🍦 Vanilla category), screenshot edits using software-assisted features (e.g., game mods, filters, retouching, smart selection) are permitted, provided they do not constitute full image generation via text prompts.
-# Note: Depending on additional category-specific rules, tools that assist with editing (e.g., content-aware fill, auto-enhance) are allowed. This rule targets full-image generation from AI models, not traditional editing methods.
