Yeah that happened more times than not that's why I tried to avoid Collision things into other things when it comes to the Corvette.
But what do I know because everybody loves the glitch out their Corvettes to make them into monstrosities they're not supposed to be because they don't want Flying boxes they want something that looks like the falcon or flying pyramid from Stargate or Star Destroyer Battle Cruisers

Offsetting, rotating or meshing parts together typically doesn't screw it up. It's once people start including base decorations and using their planet Side base to put things on their ship that are not supposed to be there.

I mean some of the Corvette parts do have that issue like those particular Corvette engines that look like they're a modification of wings and engine. They got this really annoying hitbox/ invisible wall to it that you literally have to go completely around it to not get trapped by the invisible wall that this thing stupidly has

No they're not. When you are standing in your Corvette and you go into the building menu the nutrient processor is not an option.
It's not even there. You only have four machines you're allowed to build inside your Corvette if they're not attached to the wall
If you are at your base, have your building menu open and trying to place a small refiner you can adjacency glitch a nutriet processor onto your Corvette.

It's like there's a list of physics safe items they let you build on your corvette. But once you go outside that you jack up your Corvettes physics.
Yeah. It shows a save point, Base building computer, medium refiner and I think one other machine. But the other six or seven are not there.
I dunno why the save point is an option. Seems pretty silly when the game saves a restore point whenever you get out of the cockpit seat.
I put a save point against the wall and then put the bed on the wall. It makes it to where you activate the bed to save your game.

It's also what annoys me about the short range teleporter being a build option. Because it's obviously meant to be in the corvette. It's just not able to be turned on or connected to another

flight is probably an issue for the TP's, the way the short range TP works your char is actually travelling the wire. it's not just respawn from A to B

Yeah but there's like this one particular wings that I used to use and oh my God even if you weren't even touching the damn thing you would get stuck in its Collision box and then you would be like locked in for a little bit until you found your way out that's how stupid this Collision box was with this particular engine piece
And it sucks because I did like that engine
I hate that the building camera is not available in corvettes. it makes setting up decals and other wall decorations on the outside and the right way around very hard because I need to stand on top of my corvette for a better view, but then the wall decorations start rotating on their own in a jank way as I try to place them...
But it's like at this point do I want something that looks nice or something that functions correctly to where I don't have to walk a mile away from my Corvette just to be able to go in and out of it

Ok, whatever they did to game is freaky: I can be kiled if someone is killed. I are warped by blackhole if someone warps on foot by black hole. Your exocraft fuel drains because someone uses exocraft. You're pulsing in random directions if some one pulses. I can't even begin to conceive how it was possible to messup

If you did the expedition in order, you get everything you need from a fresh start. There was no problems for me with a clean slate. No jank or work arounds.

I know some past expeditions it was fine to skip milestones and come back to them, but its generally best practice to try to do them in order
I think I found the tallest mountain in the game. So high up the surface looks like when you enter the atmosphere, and the horizon is all curved.
Especially since a lot of milestones can be completed within the same system as the rendezvous for that phase

is there any way to make it go even higher... like would changing the seed make it possibly higher. because i did notice that changing your ships seed marginally increases or decreases different stat maxes

Because changing something on your ship changes your inventory slots in some way. And that randomization is going to cause a scramble

I get that. But I'm saying when you're in the build system it has a predetermined way that it places everything in the tech lots to avoid any conflict. And backing out of the build system then makes that your default setup.
So you have to be able to save your layout before going into the build menu. And then pasting it after.

Am I looking at the wrong place or what should I be looking for?
It's the guy behind the desk on the top floor to the right. With the giant UNIT symbol above him

Guilds are per region, travel 1000ly away, check that station, repeat until you find one
Not every station will take pirate transponders. They all take different donations. So check to see what they take each time you go
First 3 in a system are prioritized, all others are cosmetic

If you kill enough pirates though you usually end up with stacks of pirate transponders. You can't seem to unload them fast enough.

Everything can be upgraded. Best is to look for something you like and go for that (Freighters cant be upgraded in class however)
They seem to be generated. Out of "new" panels. And I feel bad at suspicion that whole point to remove old panels was that generator
I think what is happening is that HG figured it would be a good idea to make sure that the best tech is in the slots, which ends up shuffling everything, instead of just replacing the single tech associated with the part/s you change.
these were all before upgrades. i was hoping it would fix after upgrading but it didnt. there are a couple that dont have any doors to the upper level, and i will use the chair hack to get inside and at least put cool ambient lighting

If you're into ambient lighting you can place pill lights against the wall before putting your wall machines in place.

ive hidden lights a lot. i love it. i was meaning more in the settlements, where some of the buildings have upper floors we cant get in, so i was going to chair hack in and put some lights so those rooms at least look like they being used or something
Ehh, no. Overall order of initial placement seems to be how it works. For example, I recently redid a corvette where I placed the Medusa reactors before the cockpit, and now I have 3 Medusa reactors and no cockpit tech, which is fine because the reactors are better anyway

On a lighter note. I've been in an out of NMS since just after launch, before FOUNDATION.
Not to steal thunder from MonkeyMan who has done all the work maintaining MBINCompiler since then and still does, but he's not a software dev and the original code was a bit of a mess. He was doing a lot of manual work hacking around bugs to keep the compiler working with updates.
I rewrote the entire MBINCompiler for him and created an API for other modders and toolmakers.
