most platforms will have reqs like min 30fps. if the game can't maintain that, they won't approve it.
Doesn't matter if you will tolerate some bugs or not.

We did get Beacon, though. We didn't get all of it because of settlements. But the Switch 1 got every Beacon feature that didn't involve them. Autophage base parts, bug fixes, etc.

Voyagers and Breach though are basically fake updates. 5.75 with 6.10 scribbled over it in marker. 😛

We don't know what happened with the Switch 1. HG hasn't said anything. The speculation is that HG intended corvettes on Switch 1, but it failed Nintendo certification late in the game.

But. We don't know for sure.

HG probably never even intended NMS for Switch. Nintendo probably approached them and gave them a hot deal, and HG didn't realize they couldn't make it work, or how strict Nintendo would be with reqs.

The Switch 1 is built on a Nvidia Tegra Chip that was used on their first Nvidia tv / multimedia units; it's no wonder it's hard to optimize NMS on there

There are multiple ways you can phrase a "We're aware of the situation and it's being worked on" without ruffling feathers. But radio silence is HG's method.

They Completely nerfed Corvette building. no offset glitch for slender ships, no deletion glitch so no more building flying saucers or the ships they featured on their own page. rediculous. praised creativity while slicing over 2/3 of the possibilities
