3 Star Resources: Laylines

Laylines are lines of longitude (vertical lines that go from north to south)
that will have [3 star Resources](#nms-questions message) spawns randomly distributed on them.

When looking for spawns try to search by travelling West or East. North or South runs a risk of searching between laylines where no deposits spawn.
If you find a deposit all you have to do is to go straight North or South and you will most likely find more spots.

If the terrain under the deposit remains unchanged, wasn't edited, then they will respawn every time the terrain is unloaded and then loaded again.

That can be achived in a couple of ways.

• Use base teleporter to teleport out and back
• Move far away from it and come back
  • I Use short range teleporters chained together to move really far away and back really quickly

• Save + reload would probably work too

The limitation to mold farming is your capacity to refine mold.

I have it optimized to the level where I can fill my fully unlocked inventory in minutes, but a stack of mold needs 20 minutes to refine to 1999 nanites on normal difficulty preset.

It can be sped up if you just use a lot of refiners; you can put a stack in each, take a 20-minute break, and come back to take your nanites out of the oven.
