Yes as backup, Artemis story line at the end of it will "break" all the ship, exosuit and minig tool tech.
You do wanna have a backup ship or just pack all the techs so they won't get damaged.

In general, the same cooldown mechanics apply, both 3 hours of actual playtime AND 5 warps done in a starship

But some systems are rigged to spawn the dreadnought on each warp in, bypassing those cooldowns

Needs more testing, but I think your weapon limit for operational guns is 12, not 6. But most weapon arrays are double barreled. I had 4 pulse turrets and 3 Deadeye cannons installed and all 7 fired

Oh ok, no worries.
You can enable MP at any time. But we usually strongly recommend against it, at least until you reach the Anomaly. You can... but avoid doing missions on MP at all costs

• if there was any change recently on your system, worth a look (Windows install GPU drivers sometimes without us asking...);
• check for temperatures on hardware, see if GPU or CPU aren't throttling;
• otherwise, might try to clear the game's cache. Can ask how in #nms-questions

For that matter, perhaps you may want to ask about the whole situation there. People there are very helpful and used to deal with these things. 🙂

MP itself isn't quite the issue, but having players nearby (or worse, joining your game) will make quests quite bugged. You'd see markers jumping from one place to another, etc. Missions overall simply don't work on MP in NMS lol. The same's true for Nexus missions and expeditions for that matter (on expeditions specifically, having MP off avoids many crashes / glitches)
