Yes, but which seed corresponds to the model I want? And how would I find the seed to explore? These are the things that keep me up at night.

You can see the seed# using save editor and change seed from there as well. Ive changed freighter and multi tool a few times with seed# edit.

Just gotta be careful in Save edit if you have a custom starship and change the order of your ships it will revert to its base seed# appearance when you reload and youll lose your custom ship

You can store customs ships in the archive to protect the appearance from save edit

i gota say tho, i do like how they made it so we can choose what each settlement is building as we upgrade the buildings. So far for my 12 working settlements i managed to get some producing so im not in the red. Im making warp fuel, shield generator batteries, friggit fuel and starship launch fuel.
