Most of them are redundant tho as at the point where you get access to purple systems you should already have other materials that are easier to get for most recipes

#1 Rule of using a Sentinel Ship as your primary. Have a Backup Ship or lots of Repair Kits. These ships require the Exotic Materials from Dissonant Planets if something gets broken and you need to repair it.

Repair Kits can substitute for those resources though.

I don't know what "circle" he's talking about but you can use the binoculars on your MT to scan ships, this lets you see their class, their core stats, and how many slots they have. Very useful if you're camping in a station or at a trade outpost for an S class so you can see every ship without talking to every pilot.

Mostly works as any other frigate...has decent stats if not spectacular, at max level it caps at 91 total combined points. It's good, well above average, even if nothing to write home about. Doesn't have crew, cannot be damaged, and you can't land on it.

You don't have to do anything to have that. It only lets you know that either you are about to be scanned and attacked by pirates or that a bounty mission is about to spawn in the system you're it. Every ship always has that...you can't not. But you only see it if you use the cockpit view...if you fly in 3rd person then you don't see it and get blindsided when pirtates start scanning you.

The economy scanner lets you see the information about the economy of systems in the galactic map. Stuff like economy type and tier.

Now the economy information is revealed once you warp into a system anyway, even if you don't have the economy scanner but with the scanner you can pick and choose what economy systems you want to go to without having to fly blind and hope you end up in a system with the economy you want.

Wait, if you are looking for no storms, and no anger bots, Paradise planets will be your best bet. Other lush can be the same but the Paradise type (Not infested or abandoned), is the easiest to find

Is it no longer best practice to have separate saves for expeditions? I just saw the anomaly terminal and it can start a new expedition, does this convert your normal save to an expedition save temporarily for the duration of the expedition?

You can go back and forth, iirc. You can only take a certain number of items with you though, you won't have access to all of your main save stuff

not sure if this is new info or not, but I just found out that if you destroy the civilian freighters during the pirate attack (not the dreadnought encounter) each of them drops an S class freighter upgrade. I just got like 8 after blowing everything up
