As long as you are in the same group, when you summon the Nexus Anomaly you both will have the same instance and so would see each other there too. But if in the same system, as long as you have "show icon" (or something like that) set, other players should see you. Note that if not in the same group, you may or may not see the other player(s) even if in the same system because there are more instances of that system than just the one you are in (just as with Nexus Anomaly instances: in fact, I think the number of Nexus Anomaly instances are the same thing as the the number of instances of a given system, but not 100% sure). I have seen other players in nearby systems in the Galactic Map, so the "instances" do span more than a single system.

The only thing that annoyed me a lot was “Rename a discovery”. This is the most unthought of milestone HG has ever put. Thousands of players across multiple devices, there is no way in heaven or hell to find even a single unnamed discovery on the expedition route (or surrounding systems).
Joku and I jumped to the featured base system in Euclid to rename the discoveries there.

You could just go somewhere where players build and interact with their base computer to get the achievement

We have a lot of bases in #nmscord-hub system, grab portal glyphs from pins, fly to any base and interact with the base computer there
