They will not show tips as tips are processed by PayPal or other payment processor. That information is not made available to twitch, which is why tools like streamelements have a method for capturing and displaying that information. That does not mean however they can resolve tip issues.

ive been trying to upload merch and its been updating my item for over a day now i have 4 other items that are already up and these were already up too but when i went to edit them they still haven't uploaded i tried logging out and refreshing and i cant even make more merch because its trying to upload the current merch. there's no option to cancel or delete uploading merch either so its just stuck and unusable any suggestions?

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible and Refresh browser when scene becomes active, as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/2JhJD0S

Clicking on the ... and selecting Properties, you can change to a custom resolution and specify the correct resolution for your screen.

Then that's what you want to set your overlay size to

Then when you add your overlay, simply add it at 1680 x 1050 and it will display correctly

So make the change as shown in the screenshots above, and then when you add it to OBS, you can add it at your monitor resolution and it will look correct.

So within the Overlay Editor in your dashboard, you're going to have to change the asset size to fit the new resolution. Because the original assets were configured for 1080 and are not dynamic HTML-based assets, they don't automatically resize for the new resolution.

I would start small. Unless you’re running multiple DSLR or mirror less cameras along with various audio devices, an ATEM is not what you need to start. You’ll be troubleshooting more than you’re creating. Start small, research the crap out of things, and maybe take a broadcasting class at a community college to get a feel for what an ATEM is for and how it functions before diving in and causing yourself headaches.

We did a screen share to go through all the settings, and all the boxes for all alerts he uses are ticked and he has variations set up and on. All other alerts show in the overlay and on the elements activity feed, but not BIts/Cheers. But the Bits do show up in other places like OBS feed. So its going through

Question: I'm trying to understand how the slot machine module works. Atm I have 7 emotes configured and if it was a real slot machine, this would mean you have a 1/49 chance of winning. Same thing is happening with me and everyone I know using StreamElements. It took 4x to type the shoutout command for it to actually update with the game title and the correct link for the streamer. I've included a screenshot of my example (obfuscated the streamer's name). 1st and 3rd tries leave out both the game title and correct streamer link. 2nd try had the correct link but still no game title, and the 4th try finally had everything correct.

Hello, I have the following problem with the Elemens Donate widget.
In the activity feed it is displayed correctly as written, see image:

But the alert in the stream turns parts of the text into this. See image the Big one is in the stream.

The words "Klassiker" <- German the word is changed to "Klbutterfly" and others variations - Eng. "classic" as well as the word "Spaß" is changed - English "Fun". I haven't looked for or seen any other errors yet, but these two words are permanently misspelled and in different ways.

Does anyone know why Media Request on SE Live randomly stops working? This usually happens after a song ends when going from a playlist to a request or back again. And the volume always mutes by itself and have to constantly reclick the volume to make the music play again. And the custom font never persists. It's completely busted. Any ideas?

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible and Refresh browser when scene becomes active, as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/2JhJD0S

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Okay guys. I couldn't think of a better place to post this than here. I am looking for an inexpensive laptop to use as a mobile streaming laptop. I will not be gaming, video only. It has to be able to run 2 webcams & a Blue Yeti.

Hey guys, I can't tell if I am overlooking something or if my alerts just arent working. I have alerts from SE linked to a broswer source on OBS. My alerts worked for many months without issue. I now have no sound for my alerts. I have checked my sound settings in OBS and they are correct. When I emulate my alerts on streamelements, I get the message "Emulation sent, but alerts are muted". I checked my sound settings for each individual alert and don't see an issue. Am I somehow missing an entire mute/unmute button? "Mute audio in the editor" is OFF, but I have tried it both ways with no change.

Ive asked it yesterday, but can someone maybe help me. I have Soundalerts that are made with Streamelements, when i try to emulate a follow for example the Alert shows up but the audio will not play. When im in OBS and tick the box with "Control Audio via OBS" the sound wont even play for me, the Audio line shows that it is playing but i wont hear anything. Hey there! Been using the alerts beta for a while but I have some issues I can't solve at the moment.

1: My alerts show on the "Activity feed" pannel, but they do not appear on stream nor OBS (no sounds and no image as well)
2: For some alerts like the "Follow" and "Raid" event, I sometime get the username of the previous person who followed or raided me, not the right one.
3: In the "Activity Feed", I can't replay the alert, I click on the arrow to do so but nothing happens.

I just updated today SE.Live and I have save settings problem in Media Request, config all the time back to start. For example using "0" to skip request and its not working. Clicking "save" makes the bind disappear. Instead of "0" there is an empty space. Any idea?

thank you! ok so I want to make a command that triggers a random quote from a set of quotes. the thing is I cant use "randompick" because the quotes exceeds the command 500 character limit greatly and cant use "quote" because I want to have 2 separate commands for 2 separate sets of quotes. I tried making streamelements pick a random call to another command (shown in the image) but it doesn't work (and honestly is really inefficient)...

so yeah I'd thank any advice from experienced people, I'm kinda new to making commands 😅

I've got a question, I use the social media rotator by Spectra on my stream, and I wish to update the twitter X logo.
I can do it easily using the JS tab of the editor, but are you guys aware of a future "official" update (I'd like to spare me some time if there are only a few days to wait) ?
Actually, this question is relevant for all the social media rotators out there, I saw they use Fontawesome icons which are not yet updated, do you know if they are to be "officially" updated soon ?

Hey my dear ones,

I'm feeling quite desperate. I've tried everything and attempted to contact support, but somehow, nothing has worked out. That's why I wanted to give it a try here. I'm a multi-streamer, broadcasting on Kick and Trovo through Restream and OBS. Naturally, I use my own overlays and alerts that I've built with Streamelements. Everything works perfectly fine, even during emulation.

However, the issue arises when an actual viewer follows me on Kick or Trovo. The system doesn't seem to recognize when someone follows, and nothing happens at all. It's puzzling because it works flawlessly during emulation. I've already been in touch with Restream's support. The first representative said it's not possible to display alerts for me, and the second suggested it might be a Streamelements' error... Hmm... Now, what do you think could be the problem?

I've also made a video explaining the issue more clearly. I can send it via PM if you're interested.

I really hope you can help me out. Perhaps some of you have had similar experiences or know how to solve this problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying something I though was pretty simple. I want to have a command where if a chatter puts !stream it displays some info about stream such as title, time stream has been live, game, that sort of thing. But it doesn't seem to work in YouTube chat. Am I setting something up wrong with my command variables? or is ithis just a bug with streamelements and youtube chat?

I'm confused as to what you meant with your message because, well, I had already read what $quote does, and so stated in my question that it wouldn't work with my case since I need different sets of quotes so each command can call to either one accordingly. Not even on my "old" overlays, which were still running until yesterday. im new to SE and switching everything over from SL to SE. setting up overlays and nothing is showing up in OBS or in the tab when i open it on a chrome browser. audio seems to get through and things seem to work in in the edit function, but not beyond that.

Hello! I am needing help with my audio alerts - they aren't muted in the overlay edits in Stream Elements website, and in advanced settings it is put as "Monitor and Output" - but I can't hear my alerts during stream, nor can I hear my channel point alerts (through Blerp) during stream; but my chat can! I can hear the game, music, etc. but suddenly my alerts aren't working for ME with audio.

Using $(redeem x) I can let people redeem a specific item from the stream store.

But can I make it so it redeems a random item from a specified list? (ex. a single item from a list of 5 different sounds)

Hello all, on Twitch Stream Elements dashboard I can see the leaderboard of users ranked by their watch time. I have a command that allows a user to check their rank ${user} has spent ${user.time_online|'0 seconds'} watching ${channel} and their rank is ${user.time_online_rank}. However, I want to make a command that shows the user the top 5 users on the leaderboard and how many hours each person has. Does anyone know if this is possible / how to achieve this functionality? I hope this is the right place to ask. Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!

Hey, i have a freind i mod for having issues with SE. When some of her mods do shout outs they dont work. For a hand full of us it works fine. but for the rest of them it will not work. Its like it doesnt see them as a mod.

We have deleted the command and re added it
We have un modded and re modded
We dropped the required level of use and that then allows them to do it.

It has been very odd

!ticket Good afternoon! I am having issues. New PC, which has a better card, more RAM, better processor and (what I think the issue is) windows 11. I run really unique overlays on my stream. I had no issues running these on my old PC (windows 10) and now my overlays on the new PC are lagging, choppy, and have nothing but issues. Is there any current issues you all know of that could be causing this?

Hi guys! I'd just like to ask about the Media Request widget on StreamElemets.

What can cause it to "stutter"? When I'm not in-game with 10+ streams lurking on Chrome, it's seamless. The moment I open any game though, it spasms and constantly pauses every 10-15 seconds, but resumes 3-8 seconds after it pauses.

I'll try a general question in case someone has come across it. I ended up here with a support question for streamelements, but my problem is more broad. It appears that in streamelements, but also OBS and streamlabs obs that i am connected to youtube. The icon shows etc. but in streamelements my subs number doesn't appear and it's not connecting to my account. So I'm sort of half connected.
