Hi I get that you guys think it's funny that people are annoyed by the amount of pings, but even with the notifications turned off (see image), we often still get the pings. I think it's understandable for people to be frustrated by the amount of pings and it looks rather distasteful that the moderators get salty over that. I like using streamelements and I wanted to be notified of new things you guys come out with that might be interesting but maybe you could consider consolidating your promotions and pings to once a week or less.

It's a psychological thing ans it's not healthy to be disturbed by pings..even if yoi don't FEEL yourself being disturbed all the time. Source "the nature fix" book where a journalist meets many research teams for mental health.. but I've read about it elsewhere too

Hello! Anyone knows who do I talk about streamelements features? I'm new to streaming and I have a question regarding Spam filters-> Banned words option.

If I enable Banned words, will Streamelements chat bot have a standard or predefined list with banned words, racial slurs and hate words already integrated in it, or do I have to manually add every possible word that is a racial slur, hate words, etc by myself into the Banned Words setting?

Hey alexr, that feature unfortunately does not have a pre-defined list of words, so you will have to fill it out in order for the bot to auto ban or timeout those messages

Yeah, thats a good tactic, I would also suggest googling for some templates for banned words, I know I remember seeing some streamers who shared their list, which you can just copy and paste

I am working now on a Ultra Wide monitor as my main driver is no longer functional, I have 2 questions, my dimension are 3440x1440, I see a 1440 option when doing a new overlay, but it's not 3440x1440 it's 2560x1440, is there a Ultra Wide option or not? The other question when I make a couple overlays to switch from it uses the same browser code so they affect each other is there a way to have a different browser code for each overlay?

Hey @mental hedge yeah our Overlays have a 1440p option, but since Twitch doesn't support those wide resolutions, they want 16:9, not 21:9, and you will end up with black bars. Some creators that stream with these resolutions tend to use that space for Overlays, like this creator: https://www.twitch.tv/cutedog_

So usually, when you make a new Overlay, you should click this button to copy its specific URL, so you can paste that in your Browser Source in OBS

Hey! you just need to keep an eye on your StreamElements dashboard, in the Revenue section to see if something will pop up. You would also normally get an email once an opportunity is made available
