if you literally just want to stream twitch is the place to do it. however it is a terrible platform full of streamers that is declining. multistreaming probably best bet. yt is underated, if you make entertaining videos your chances of doing better on yt so much better. twitch culture overrated. twitch is literally a pyramid scheme, big channels get small channels watching. you rely on smaller channels to watch when you get growth. but if you are into streams and watch them on yt your homepage will get streams in your top results.

was looking into yt gaming and checked out a bunch of minecraft channels and japanese v tuber channels got my attention now it is appearing on my yt homescreen. also if you do get decent numbers on a yt stream and have subs vods can actually do well due to yt algorithm. compare a technoblade stream to a tommyinnit vod. stream coaches you really gotta be wary of on yt, found abnormal views on 1 channel and plenty of "growth" channels that don't even stream anymore

seen a few channels with 2-300 follows hitting 80 viewers avg with awkward weird non specific chat, one is a yt stream growth channel with 50+k youtube subs. make up your own mind whether those numbers make sense

also seen a japanese female yt vtuber with 3 k subs murdering minecraft pandas for 50 avg live. seen a english channel with 1.6k subs go live for 40 avg on yt. make your own opinion

Hate Raids are basically a bunch of alt-bot accounts that spam your chat while offline with derogative & obnoxious words then report your account with alt accounts.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

The stream chat widget should display BTTV emotes by default. Make sure you have the !emotes default command enabled in the commands list and type !emotes update in your chat. Give it 5-10 minutes and then refresh the overlay in OBS and the editor if you have it open.
