Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Hey everyone, I’m on the verge of changing over to StreamElements from Streamlabs OBS. Is it possible to edit overlays if you have the source files in OBS Studio the same way you can in Streamlabs as I want to carry over the same overlay I’ve been using.

I agree but my style is just if someone wants help with "how" and not "why" then I try to help where I can. I couldn't help without asking those questions. Haha. You are correct though. I think building up your content and focusing on your chat as a whole is better in the long run anyhow. You can always "farm" subs instead of followers because yes, those do benefit you more. I can get 1000 people to follow me that aren't ever going to stop back by. The incentive is just very very low. If you have a channel good enough to make people stay then they will follow you regardless <3

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

So does anyone know how to get out of the infinite loop on the browser? I sign in, it takes me to dashboard, if I click on anything it just has the load thing, if I try to go into a ch I am an editor for it brings me back to the login page and I'm stuck there forever unless I hit profile, then dashboard then I'm back at where I started. I have tried erasing everything, cache, cookies, etc and using different browsers, no luck

No, but also YT subscribers is not equivalent to Twitch subscribers. One is a free thing the other is paid. YT Subscribers is Twitch Followers

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Overlay stuff. I'm getting help with art related things. I'm not great with it. The overlay stuff is coming around when I switch to StreamElements, so it's pretty nice

Yeah, I think the new stuff will be 100% better. Person helping me out now actually can art. My last overlay was just pretty much a starting soon screen that I replaced text for on two other screens. Made it using colour sources lmao (which has been a bad time trying to bring the colour sources over)

It took me like idk a day working with a vector program to draw an orange lmfao. Now I'm able to talk with someone about art and it's been awesome. The templates/themes have been super helpful as a base

Its so nice to chat with an artist and they can just whip up stuff that you have had in your head forever. Yeh the StreamElements themes are a great way to start and even just understand how the whole system works
