They've implemented generative AI overlays and alerts, either they make a statement that they made a poor judgment call and will remove said AI, or that they support AI and don't plan on getting rid of it. Instead of being silent towards creators making their dissatisfaction known and asking for a clear line where they stand so we can act accordingly

From what I've seen in the last 6? months some form of AI has been implemented by: Stream Elements, Stream Labs, Sound Alerts, Tangia, and Blerp. The last three being ai voices. Stream Elements via overlays, and Stream Labs with a "streaming assistant".

It looks to only be a single widget that is in any way related to Athena.ai; outside of that one alert widget nothing on Stream Elements is related to it; and you have to go to their website to finish setup, so by default it appears there is no way for them to access your information within StreamElements.

Right now it's a beta and if there is an overwhelmingly negative reaction it will have an impact. If that's the case, I had the same concern and I learned that alerts will only pop up if the user has their profile set to "public". If their YouTube profile is private, no alerts will pop up and I don't think it'll show on the activity feed either

Yes cause Twitch is your main canvas/encoder/streaming what ever. You can def start on Twitch then multi stream tiktok then end tiktok and finish on twitch i've done it multipel times before something broke

I'm having the issue of double audio when I set up my vertical canvas, because it's audio is also going into the sound mixers of all my scenes, and therefore my default canvas. Bravo SE team! I tried out Multistreaming last night before I read the announcement and am impressed with what I was able to accomplish. I was able to multistream to Twitch, Youtube, TikTok, and Kick simultaneously. For Facebook I ended up using another platform but I believe there is a way to set it up throught SE as well. The one major thing I had an issue with was TikTok's chat dock in OBS. No matter what I tried it kept saying that I have made too many attempts at logging in and that I should try later. I ended up having to open it in a separate browser to try and chat w any viewers there. Overall, awesome stuff! I am hoping to completely drop that "other" platform for my multistreaming needs eventually.

In fact, I had to flip my primary output from YT to twitch because of how OBS handles streams with YT, was causing a conflict

If you look at the questions for the multi-streaming, they are aware of the want/need for differing bitrates per platform customization, but it's not there yet.

If you plan on upgrading OBS, then updating se.live, no need to remove the plugin, Just update OBS, download se.live again and run the installer. To remove it, I believ you just go to add/remove programs and it's there for removal.

I downloaded an overlay package, and one has the little like spots at the bottom where I think you would put your notifications, like follow count, etc

I want to figure out how to use that, and put the text there that I want to put there, but I don't understand how you make it appear on top of that.

When I open stream elements, you can make all these different widgets or whatever they're called, but how do you get it on top of the overlay? It's so confusing

Found I can deactivate/reactivate the source to fix it, but then 30mins+ later it slips again.

TikTok update: I did some troubleshooting. I noticed it's not just SE.Live plugin that won't let me broadcast to TikTok. I am unable to connect to the TikTok studio app, and I can't even view TikTok LIVEs.

if you're logged into an American tiktok account you will be unable to broadcast or view TikTok LIVEs. If you** log out **of your account and connect with a VPN you can watch LIVEs, but this obviously doesn't solve the issue of not being able to broadcast. Anyway, hope they sort it out by tomorrow but not holding my breath. Good luck everyone.

Setup a livestream via your YouTube dashboard (Complete everything such as title, information etc) wehen complete goto your OBS... Start Streaming... And the plugin will give you a new option "Broadcast" as well as the usual information... Select broadcast and then select your planned stream... Hope this helps

You are absolutely right, it starts on two platforms and the error is no longer there, although it still tells me that the bit rate is low.

You can update the settings/bitrate for youtube and then change it back; that should get rid of that error.

I had the same issue. Setting Twitch as my Primary, then setting up the multi-streams for Youtube and Youtube Shorts. What i do now, is go into studio, schedule a stream for horizontal with it's own key and a vertical with it's own key. Then when I start the multi-stream in OBS Studio, I select the appropriate 'stream' and key I created in studio, for the corresponding canvas/stream.

From what I see, the solution to the problem for now is to start on two different platforms at the same time. If I start only YouTube (horizontal and vertical) it gives the error "the same main URL is being used in more than one transaction" and low quality of the vertical live stream. I wanted to only use it for YouTube, but I see that it has errors.

You need to make sure when you start the streams, they are assigned their own keys. That's the issue with the bitrate, at least with my setup. OnceI put Shorts on it's own key, that issue went away and the quality is fine.

I had it work for all of 6 minutes the other day before I realized I had to make an all new canvas outside of the one I was originally using for Kick. Now that I have created a new canvas to use, I cannot get SE.live to go live on twitch. My main platform is Kick and that is what OBS is pointed to atm, SE.live should just work to run twitch and OBS should work to run Kick right? Am I missing something?

The official answer is that you have to have 1000 Followers, but if you're a gamer you can apply to get live access, but they will only grant you live access to use their live streaming software called TikTok Live Studio. You need a stream key to stream to TT using OBS Studio or if you use StreamLabs then you can apply directly through there to get a streamkey or join a TikTok Live Agency and they can get you a stream key. Hope this helps.

I was wondering why this is happening since this happens on two different PC's so I am sure it is overlay related and not an issue on my devices.

If you're using the OBS default dock, make sure you are connected to a streaming service in the settings. If you're using the SE.Live dock logout and log back in. If you're using YouTube, your stream will have to be live and public for it to work.

Because its being viewed on tiktok and the viewable difference on a handheld device when streaming at sufficient bit rate is negligable

720p = 921600 pixels
1080p = 2073600 pixels.

When multistreaming considering peoples bandwidth is important and most people are watching on 10/11inch screens... so yes 1080p for that usecase is overkill.

Also considering people hardware is great too... not everyone has a wicked fast PC... and the encoding requirement difference between 1080p and 720p as you can see is more than double.

It'll base the rate off the default canvas settings in OBS. You should be able to safely push 8000 bitrate to twitch without issue.
