Also, the recommendation to fix the dropdown menu for SE.Live for custom bot names fixed the appearance of the options however i still have the issue of if I choose my own username account it does not register and run the bot through it. This has been an on going issue for months. Any help>

The devs are aware of the delays and a fix is on the way soon. There's two sets of directions to completely reset the custom bot name, can you run through both and see if it fixes things?

Hi, I just set up my first chat overlay for my stream and everything worked perfectly at first. However as soon as I restarted my OBS to double check, I noticed FFZ emotes were no longer showing up in the overlay. This doesn't affect my actual stream chat, I'm logged into all 3 add-ons and the emotes are fine there, this only affects the chat overlay I just made. Here's a screenshot of my overlay not showing an emote I have enabled through FFZ but it still shows the emotes I have from BTTV and 7TV just fine.

The same thing happens with the gamble module.

no luck unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with the twitch name.. My account is like 6 years old or so, Twitch limited name changing to only capitalization but back then it was different. So, that's why i think this issue is happening. I might be wrong

Yeah so on the custom widget I have to make it narrower and shorter to make it fit my overlay for my stream, but if I try to make it thinner or shorter on the overlay page it just starts chopping the chat off
I guess cause it's a custom widget it's not like easy to scale like the in built stream elements chat widget

Posted this before, but I think it got lost in the mix.
I've got an alert box set up with different alerts for new subs, resubs and gift subs. Each one has a different alert (different GIF, sound effect) set in Variations.
But every time I get a sub (of any kind) it always plays the same alert, so I can't tell if someone's subbed or received a gift sub.
Each variation is enabled and "pick an alert randomly" is disabled.
Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

Hello, I just wanted to try out the Viewer Queue feature while offline to see how it works, but everytime I try to use !queue join it gives the following response:
Hmm. Looks like there was an issue running that command. Try again, and if it’s still not working, contact support.
All the other commands seem to work and also give appropriate responses. Weirdly enough if I set it to subscriber only and a non sub types !queue join they actually get the message that they are not permitted to join and not the above error message.

Now we installed the streamelements leaderboard, but when somebody redeems an item through the panel underneath the stream, it says that WE redeemed it and it takes OUR points instead of the person redeeming. There is no way to upload custom HTML / CSS files, but for alerts you can use the option "Use Custom CSS" from My Overlays page
For chatboxes and donation goals, the easiest way is getting a custom one from #widget-share and you can edit it the way you want going in Settings > Open Editor.
Or you can create your own using the + button on My overlays page > STATIC / CUSTOM > Custom widget (but it is always better starting with something already created to understand how it works)

Yes, it will starting count on your next stream... The value is updated each 10 minutes.
The chat from Streamlabs and Streamelements are very different and they have different field names, tags, etc... Some extra work will be needed to make the conversion.

Hello, I'm trying to upload a subscriber alert that loops with a transparent background. The best way I've found to do this is by making it a gif. The initial sub alert works perfectly. But if it is a gift or community gift the alert breaks, showing a broken placeholder icon. Alternatively if the alert is set to a video format the gift alerts now become the default SE alerts. How can I make it so that the gif format doesn't break the gift alerts? Also, if there is a better format to export to that allows transparency and continuous looping please let me know. All of my tests were through the emulation feature while editing.

I'm trying to customize the Cheer variations for the hypecup. Even when I create an entirely new variation, or edit a pre-existing one, there's no 'amount' option for me to edit.. so without that, how can I trigger a specific event?
The current default Cheer variations for the Hypecup also seem to be broken.. and the item that falls into the cup appears to be some kind of squished, mostly invisible item that doesn't resemble any emotes or custom animations from the sprite sheets. That's if anything falls into the cup at all, which sometimes it doesn't. Not sure if I broke something on my end, but it's becoming tiresome for me to try and figure out on my own. So hopefully someone here can help.

After doing some research I have a feeling the answer is no due to to Discords restrictions. But is there any way to use the SE loyalty points system within Discord? And have points accumulated in both contribute to their total?
The only way I can see of doing it is to have two seperate point systems and let users request a transfer of points between the two. Obviously this requires more work on the admin side. Much more if you have a high userbase.

You should just be able to sign into to Stream Elements with your Twitch. You'll create your overlays in the overlay builder, and you add the overlay into OBS, or Twitch Studio through a Browser Source input.

I am looking for some help with the Giveaway tool. I am having difficulty with making it do what I need, and maybe it can't or maybe I don't know what I'm doing.
Ultimately, what I need to be able to do is this:
- start a giveaway and gather entrants
- manually roll and verify the winner > have the option to reroll if the drawn name doesn't qualify
- manually bark the winner announcement AFTER manually verifying the winner
- export the list of all entrants for record keeping and future use.
If your tool CAN do all of this, then I am simply in need of help figuring it out. If your tool can't do this ... I am not a coder or a programmer in anyway, who should I be asking for help?

I imported nightbot commands (not realizing what I was doing) and now I have both bots posting the same commands. I disconnected streamelements from nightbot and it didn’t fix it. Is there a way to undo linking the commands?

Yep, it can go that high. You need the Asset rotator/slideshow widget to make it work, that one works with images and video files. No sound.
Another option would be to use the Video widget if it needs sound and to create a video with 5min total lenght and transparency and loop that (this widget has no delay/pause option)
