Hi, I'm Trying to update stream category on Twitch to Elden Ring through the !setgame command and also through a custom command to do the same thing but the stream still shows as the previous catagory. I have a weird question - I'm trying to plan a subathon and I'm wanting to utilize the subathon timer thats w/ streamelements.

My inquiry - Is there a way to show overall time accumulated during the subathon on the fly, not just the ticking down timer? It has a widget function to restrict a cap on the max marathon duration so I assume the data is already there somewhere.

I was hoping to set content goals when you hit "X" time accumulated out of 32h cap for the stream.

I got it from the Ankhbot/Streamlabs bot. The Ankbot/Streamlabs import from Streamelements seems broken so I used the CSV import last time and it worked. Now I converted the hours from the .CSV to minutes so streamelements shows them correct.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I am not sure which help desk I need on this discord, but I am in serious need of help setting up a new custom overlay package I just bought from fiverr. Every file is webm and the guy that design everything for me bases off of using SLOBS . Using that platform is too confusing for me. I am trying to upload the webm files in create an overlay , however even though it uploads , the image/video does not . A file will be 7000 KB , but when I drop it place , it says 0 kb and nothing actually uploads. What am I doing wrong ? Sorry if this is a long post.

hey guys, amazing work ya doing. I have 3 quick questions in regards to the Leaderboard extension:
1 - Points: they are meant for loyalty point that have been set-up within the platform site, correct ?
2- Points: If so, can I make it so it shows channel points leaderboard ?
3- Chat Stats: it show no data, I logged in and out and reinstalled the extension but to no avail. Is it mandatory for this specific Chat Stat function to work to set SE as mod ? because that is the ONLY SE function im using. Or maybe im missing something else.
I'd appreciate ur help guys, Thnx in advance

Ok, the issue is because the twitchID and watchtime are optional, so the import tool is recognizing those fields as not used. But as you want to add watchtime, you will need to fill them. So in this case I would recommend you to follow the steps below:

1 - Go to https://awk.js.org/

2 - Copy the content of your CSV file on the left box (STDIN)

3 - Put the following text on the first box, called (Command line (--help)). We are going to add null on twitchID and 0 on alltime points. The * 60 is because you have the time in hours and the import tool use it in minutes, so we are going to multiply them for 60:
-F , '{ print $1 ",null," $2 ",0," $3 * 60 }'

4 - This will generate on the right side (STDOUT | STDERR), copy that to a new text file and save it as import.csv

5 - Use the import.csv file to import on SE Import tool

I've been setting up my overlays for Twitch however I noticed in the StreamElements editor, the subscriber alerts are only partially editable. I am able to change padding on the text for a general subscriber notification but not for gift notifications. The standard subscriber notification shows up centered as it should but the gift message get's crammed up at the top. Am I missing something to change that?

I'm having an issue with setting a custom bot name on StreamElements. I have all the prereqs showing as completed but when I try to link the twitch account for the bot name it just doesn't seem to save or do anything after I authorize it. The "Send Test Message" button stays greyed out. I also can't even use my own Twitch name, the only option that works is the StreamElements bot name

How does one Edit, modify, or allow swear words in the alerts TTS notifications on SE alerts? I have a streamer that is is allowing the TTS with in reason use some words but not all words and would like to be able to allow / manually block,

I'm running into a problem that has me stumped. I'm an editor for a channel, but when I try to go to "My Overlays" or basically anything but the dashboard I get a popup (see screenshot) saying more perms are required from Twitch. Have tried Chrome and Firefox and more than one computer. I can access other channels that I have editor access to though. Any ideas?

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Hello i have an issue at a particular twitch channel I am modding for, the bot works in chat normally, but doesn't send any messages. It works from time to time tough. This is really irritating as we tried everything aka parting the channel, even removing SE bot by banning it and then readding it. I'm having an issue where overlays that have been working fine for a long time all of a sudden have alerts malfunctioning 85% of the time. The sound alerts get's cut off in the middle and then sometimes does the end of it but TTS comes through fine.
I've tried readding the overlay to my scenes but that's not doing anything and if I test it on the website itself, it just works, anyone have any ideas?

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

more details on my songrequest conundrum: im currently using triggerfyre to switch scenes when someone redeems a songrequest/dance. The scene switches and the streamelements media request starts playing. All good so far. The problem is that the dancing redemption is only 30 seconds, so after 30 seconds triggerfyre switches the scene back to another scene that DOESNT have the mediarequest playing. So when the next person redeems a dance redemption, the scene switches and then the LAST persons song is still playing.

I have a weird question that is more geared towards SE and OBS than it is Twitch, but I don't see any channel dedicated to OBS and I stream to Twitch so I figured I would ask it here. Hey there guys. I'm having an issue where the streamelements add-on to OBS isn't working. I'm unable to launch se.live, the plugin isn't loading so I can't access the s.e docks, no alerts (run through s.e) are working and every time I launch OBS it prompts me with the same S.E update that never correctly installs. The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Hello, I'm using OBS Studio and have made an overlay a Browser source, the source is on the top of all layers in my OBS yet it still doesn't display 😦 Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Made the browser source 1920x1080, the same size as the overlay I made (did custom sizing) and its not showing up

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/UvJcYXa

It only shows me 2 crash logs. The app itself doesn't crash, it just keeeps dropping my bitrate to 0 and disconnects server connection. Then it reconnects, but it's doing it a lot more than normal

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Could any mods help me? I recently took a Raid: Shadow Legends sponsorship and I completed the "Shard Opening Stream" but it is showing as incomplete but I met the criteria.
I've already looked at the Stream. Elements which tells me it should auto complete and if it doesn't it says "contact us" in which it sends me to this discord
