hi! i've been having an issue only recently with streamelements and OBS where the audio for media requests has somehow been duplicating into my mic audio. i use win-capture-audio to split up my audio sources, which i need bc i watch music that isn't safe for DMCA and don't want the music track to record to the vod. everything was working fine until recently, but there is now an audible crackle (which i think is caused by the mic audio duplication) which i need to get rid of.

also, i typically use the media request web browser, but would like to start using the dock in OBS. the OBS dock doesn't seem to be working, which is fine since i can use the web browser in the meantime, but any help with that would also be appreciated. thank you!

Oyy,, i'm having issues with streamelements web page - been trying to do some updates for another channels bot as their bot supervisor, however when selecting as being their supervisor, i get yeeted back to streamelements main page from my dashboard without any possibility of reverting back to managing my own channel without clearing browser cache. every time i try to enter dashboard from thereon only brings me back to the same place. clearing the entire browser cache only gets me on the same loop again.. i've tried using Brave and Google Chome.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

For example, when someon type !bot they can have an answer "A" "B" or "C" randomly.
I've looked everywhere but didn't found.

I'm having an issue with twitch chat loading in Streamelements OBS. I dont think is exclusively OBS issue because it happens on the browser version of twitch too but I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. Hi all, I'm trying to get Credit Roll by Grot working. I'd like it to list all new followers, new subscribers, cheers, and tips that happened during the stream. All of those options are on, and it's on its own overlay.

However, when I go to stream and then switch to the source with that overlay, it often doesn't display anything other than the generic thank you message. It sometimes displays followers / subs that have happened while I was offline, but it doesn't populate events that happened while stream was going.

I tried doing some searches in the server and it looks like there have been similar issues, but I'm not sure if people were able to find fixes. Just wanted to ask here to see what people have done with this before trying to move on to a different way of doing it.

I just moved all my Streamlabs stuff (6 years of interconnected alerts) over to StreamElements 😬 I ran into a bit of a problem.

I have .webM files that play for my sub alerts. When I emulate the sub alert, it's not in the 1080x1920 dimensions the file OR the output for StreamElements' overlay is set to. It's closer to being a 720p alert and I've tried the following:

• Reuploading the video file
• Setting the dimensions in the "Position, size and style" to the correct dimensions

As you can see, the red line is where it cuts off after I've dragged the widget to the right dimensions

So it looks like your default commands (!command, !8ball, ETC) are set to trigger only when you're online, not offline. Your custom commands are set to work both Offline and Online, so that's why some work and some don't

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

When i click on S.E. Layout Editor, the icon in the top right that looks like a monitor (Session Data), then 'TOTALS', it does replicate my follower list. But when I setup my Follower Goal, it shows my Follwers as 0

you can update the session data to reflect data you input. some values can be changed, other not

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

Hello, so I'm having an issue with the chatbot. When I open OBS and type a command in my chat, the command does not work, but when I have OBS closed and type a command from a different device like my phone, my chatbot commands work. Any fixes for this? This is also after the recent SE.Live update.

So I have this one particular user in my chat that I have a friendly competition with on who can accumulate the most points. Numerous times his number of points randomly gets cut down but over 90% with no cause, and then when I try to go to add his points back through the web app, it doesn't work. I don't have it recorded, but there is a popup at the bottom right of the video stating that it's "successfully" adding his points, but it isn't.

It's now happening to multiple users.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

I don't know if I should ask here but for the overlays for Twitch, every time I change the resolution to 720p the overlay is cut in half, is there anyway to fix it or will it always do such?

By default overlays are designed for 1080p. You have to change it from the 3 dots for that overlay and adjust the contents to 720p.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

So did my first stream today, and everything went well as it could be, but for some reason the VOD has no game audio and only my mic audio. (Halo Infinite)

I tested it with another game (Golf with Friends) and the VOD for that worked fine, all game sounds were there as well as my input mic audio.

Hello ! Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but what you create in SE is an external source. It exists in SE, but to show on your stream, you have to tell you streaming tool (OBS, for example) to display it, and where to display it. For example, if you use OBS, you can add a "new browser source" in your source lists, and replace the URL of the source by the URL provided in your SE widget. and voila, whenerver the widget is triggered, it will appear in your streaming tool, and thus, in your stream

It works for all of them except for one : he has a ton of points, and whatever perk he tries to redeem, it keeps telling him he doesn't have any points.
