My streamelements alert box shows all my alerts EXCEPT my hosts. I can trigger it in my overlays, but people aren’t able to autohost me nor host me. It doesn’t even come across in my history of activity.

Hi again! I’m trying to invite one of my mods to be an editor for my streamelements, but he gets this error when clicking the invite link. I’m not sure what to do differently. Channel Settings > Invite New Manager > Editor > Generate Link > Copy Link. Ideas? 🙏🏻

I'm an editor on 5 channels and every time I swap between them I have to clear cookies and temp files before the page will load, otherwise it takes me to the main StreamElements homepage. It does this with both Chrome and Edge. Is this a known issue?

Generally having the owners of the channel complete the same steps occasionally will keep this issue from coming back.

Hey, having a weird issue all of a sudden. No settings have been changed, but suddenly my stream can't hear my sheets. I can hear them go off, and I can see it move the audio mixer in my desktop audio source which is what I use for the stream output, and I can hear every other source. It just send everything via twitch isn't going to the stream, a channel point redeem in streamerbot is also not going through to the stream.

I have three extensions, none of them show up, they all do this. But only when browsing normally in Brave or Edge, which are both Chromium browsers... When in private mode, they show up perfectly fine. And they work fine in Opera and Firefox too

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hi! Currently moving from Stream Labs to StreamElements and having an issue with alert graphics being cut off.
For the longest time my overlays were restricted to 800x600 even though I was using 1080p in the overlay resolution.
I dont know why, but today StreamElements shows me a 1080p grid finally. However when I test a follow or sub notification, on OBS it cuts off the graphics in that 800x600 range. So anything outside of that is still missing.
Just to confirm, the source in OBS is set to 1080 as is the width and height in StreamElements

Hey, having a weird issue all of a sudden. No settings have been changed, but suddenly my stream can't hear my sheets. I can hear them go off, and I can see it move the audio mixer in my desktop audio source which is what I use for the stream output, and I can hear every other source. streamelements doesn't not take in account if people unfollow you so my recommendation would be to reset your totals in session data this can be found by clicking the little TV with the cogs In your overlay If the number matches with your twitch after doing so then it's a simple case of streamelements doesn't not take in account if people unfollow you

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

How to separate Media Request (MR) audio in OBS:

MUTE MR FOR YOURSELF, STREAM CAN HEAR

1. Make a new overlay in the editor, ONLY add the Media Request widget.
2. Add a new browser source in OBS, add the URL and set the dimensions correctly.
3. Tick the box for Control audio via OBS
4. Go to Edit > Advanced Audio, set your MR overlay to Monitor Off. Note: This will play through the Desktop Audio, if you mute your desktop audio, it will mute the MR.

CONTROL AUDIO SEPARATELY FROM YOU AND STREAM

1. For this you will need a VAC (use command !vac).
2. Run your MR either in Chrome or in Ground Control (use command !gc). Note: Do NOT click on SHOW ON STREAM.
3. Set Chrome or GC in the VAC as an audio input and output.
4. Add the audio output from VAC as an audio input in OBS. Note: This will not be able to show the video in OBS.

Hi guys! 🙂 I come again with the same issue as I had before, only now I know what it causes. I am unable to access my dashboard, everytime I click on it, it just refreshes the main website.
The issue started after I tried to access the dashboard of another streamer, of which I am a moderator and have full control over her SE.
It happened this way also the last time I had the issue.
Last time I had to delete the cookies and cache. But, apparently, it didnt fix the issue fully as i am still not able to access the dashboard that I have full control of. Any other solutions?

Hmm, I don't think disconnecting from Twitch account on OBS would work, but you can try, it won't hurt. But try to open a private tab on your browser and edit your overlay on this link:

Hmm, you told me you can see the overlay, right? Try to duplicate it clicking on three dots and then duplicate. Check if you are able to edit the new overlay

Those kind of funny sounds are linked to the voice name and the specific text. Not all texts or all voices will be able to reproduce those, some will just read the letters individually

@pseudo jewel I think I just managed to fix it.. seems to be because in the animation settings both the 'enter animation' and 'exit animation' were set to none. changing it so that exit was something different even though all duration values are zero fixed it. can still send animation if you think it will help diagnose that issue if needed?

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Open any overlay -> open Library window -> F12 on keyboard to open Dev Console -> go to Network tab -> click Play on your sound in Library, you'll see new row in the Console -> right click on the row -> open in new tab -> download from there

The alert is not working properly - it never has actually.
The problem is that when someone comes with a raid they are also hosting, but SE sometimes "chooses" to display a host alert and not the raid event. And recently, I have had not even the chat alert message for hosts.

I really really really do not want to use the services of that other site that does shady things - as many of my streamer buddies have suggested (I totally despise that other shady site).

I will consider your answer as a "no" there's no workaround on that yet. - Because I have read that a thousand times already.

I have been using TouchPortal, that pops a sound alert when hosts come in (when only hosts come in) it doesn't get messed with raids. The problem is that there's a certain delay between the host itself and the name of the viewer showing on the panel.
