1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@ashen sparrow 10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

For timers, is there any easy way to have it so all 5 of my timers stagger every 15 minutes. @soft maple Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Thanks but I just uninstalled. All other versions, OBS STUDIO, and streamlabs OBS have proper working hotkey function whereas this branch does not for whatever given reason

I have a question my streamelements overlay is super choppy when we get alerts, I have 50% cpu usage free if I'm using x264 and with Hardware encoder I have some 80% free but the results are the same. I'm streaming in 1080p, 60fps, on a iMac and I've lowered the fps of streamelements down to 24 and still no difference (this includes lowering the fps of the files in streamelements to 24 as well) - The video files are webm and audio is mp3

Is this normal?

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

@lament blade 10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I never had issues until this last update and now I have random spiritic frame drops that go to 0 for a few seconds and then launch up to like 8000. What is causing this/How can I fix this.

Literally did all of these. My internet provider came out and everything is fine on there end my network adaptors are up to date. Ever since I updated OBS the other day (about a week ago) I had this issue

Hi, I did the one click set up for the alerts butt they are still the default ones (zombies). on Stream elements i can see them added plus when emulated they appear as normal but when tested on Streamlabs OBS still showing the details ones. What am I doing wrong?

Quick question.. is there a way via chat/command line to change a basecommand name? I know how to change alias but that's not what I'm needing here.
Basically, I'm a mod for someone that is not computer savvy but I don't have access to her console and I need to rename one of her commands so I can reuse that command name for a default different command. I can't just delete and recreate it because she has command keywords for it and i can't rebuild those without dashboard access (which would be nice if i could).

Oh, no, you cannot change the name of a custom command from chat, only delete it entirely and make a new one.

@thick tapir If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hey I had my Streamelemnts bot in the chatbox whenever I get a new follower or get a raid or somethign but it isn't working for some reason

@tawdry edge If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

i have an issue where when i try to stream to twitch i keep getting a popup that says start streaming to youtube. I have checked my stream output settings and it wont help i have even tried to use a stream key instead of just connecting my account and the problem has not fixed. 6) Navigate to the Console tab
7) Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()

9) Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties."

I have a command to trigger the 1st response and I've pasted the 1st response into the 'keywords' section of the 2nd command but no matter what, the bot saying the 1st response will not trigger the 2nd command. Yeah @ionic kelp I've tried other options too and it seems a fair few of the reputable bots won't respond to other bots either. It would be cool if the bot had a limit of say 5 self-triggers with a cooldown after but that sounds like a lot of effort to satisfy a very niche use-case. Thanks for the help though!
