  • from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
  • from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Good evening, I am trying to set up a face camera on OBS via streamelements with my iPhone 11. I have downloaded the iOS app Camera for OBS. The default resolution for StreamElements overlays (theme and custom) is 1920x1080. Please add them in OBS at their full resolution and use CTRL+F to fit to screen if necessary. You can then downscale your stream in OBS settings > Video if you'd like https://i.imgur.com/6bWXxjR.png

yea, I have done the same, it links to the twitch channel points etc its very good, and it does link to alerts too however for some reason it doesn't trigger with streamelements alerts, so although I use streamelements for everything, I have to set lumia to listen to streamlabs to trigger the lights on follows etc even though the alert is played through SE. not a game changer, but kinda confusing

Add a command there called !discord and add your invite link as a response.

If it says Join Channel instead of Part Channel then click the Join Channel button.

There could be some issues in that process but considering you've just started, I don't expect there to be any. You just join the bot to your channel and add the command then you're finished.

You don't connect your PayPal to your Twitch account @neat charm but you can add your PayPal here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/tipping-settings and once you add a panel with your donation link and some alerts for donations to your overlay, it'll work as you're expecting.

Click on every arrow on that page to set everything up properly as it walks you through it.

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hello, I am trying to setup new subscriber alerts on the same overlay therefore it is easy to manage. I have uploaded proper alert animations for sub tier 1 and 2. I have used variations to set the conditions for them to appear when that specific subscribe action happens. Unfortunately, when i run the emulation, all subscriber alerts play at the same time ignore the variation conditions. How do I fix this?

Alright I know this has been discussed (I searched) but haven't found a solution. Stream delay to YT. I have it set to Ultra low-latency in YT Studio and have no delay enabled in OBS. I get a 20-25 second delay and my upload speed is 40mb/s. Any ideas?

My Chat bot still is not running, it says "bot running" in Twitch, but isn't posting responding in chat to any commands. Any insight on what could be happening? I've parted and joined, muted and unmuted, unmodded then modded again, logged out and back into Twitch from OBS Live, changed my twitch password and logged out/in from all sessions, can't get it to work. My alerts are working, overlays are good, just the bot isn't working. Can anyone help, or is anyone else having this issue?

  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button

Alright I know this has been discussed (I searched) but haven't found a solution. Stream delay to YT. I have it set to Ultra low-latency in YT Studio and have no delay enabled in OBS. I get a 20-25 second delay and my upload speed is 40mb/s. Any ideas? Also streaming in 1080p 60, with 6k bitrate

@steady sluice If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

no worries - I was just reading here: https://support.streamelements.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017413239-Creating-a-Custom-Bot-name-with-OBS-Live- and it says you can do it either way but the problem for me was that I could not see the OAuth field from within GC settings ... and unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced the OAuth key I originally used to set this up in prior tests before removing the functionality until as of today where I have now managed to successfully setup the custom bot name via OBS.Live instead ... outside the realms of this channel and # more than likely but anyone aware of how to recover a lost Twitch Chat OAuth Password?

another quick one - with all tests I've run without being live stream, I have not been able to stop profanity. Think f&!k but the real deal. This is with all settings on max for Twitch bot and while using StreamElements bot ... is this simply because I am basically the Admin typing messages in? If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

not sure if this is the right channel to post this, but the RegEx input box has a 500 character limit on the bottom right as seen in the pic. but the max characters is actually 100. Only way to find out about this is by going over 100 and then changing a bunch of other toggles till the farm gets re validated

I installed Own3d.tv layout yesterday on streamelements. Problem is that sometimes when I switch scenes it doesnt show animations everytime and sometimes it shows just black screen. Alert sounds dont work eveytime too.

  • Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
  • Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
  • Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

Hi πŸ™‚ I have the problem that when I stream with Obs.Live that irregularly after an hour or two, only my microphone sound sounds choppy and robotic. The rest of the sound sounds normal. I use an Audiotechnica condenser microphone with a Behringer microphone console and my PC has an Asus Xpnar Phoebus sound card. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
  • from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

@ancient crest Our Dashboard and Overlay Editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins is blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in an incognito tab.

Okay I did it again using your suggestions and this time I do see the test message coming out as my standard twitch name. This is a step in the right direction, however I do have a follow-up question. It did not give me an option to name the bot myself. For example, if I am DANGERD0RK and want my bot to be DANGERBOT, is that possible?
