That will stop the bots from showing up for the loyalty leaderboard. For the other categories, it's not possible to block them at this time.

With the current resolution you have, not really.

Also, make sure that your browser sources are above your camera layer otherwise it will not display properly. OBS uses a stacking system for their layers. Whatever is on top takes priority for visibility.

Recently changed name on twitch. Tried reconnecting as the instructions said. Previous account name shows up in user management. Tried adding bot back to channel by clicking 'Part Channel' then 'Join Channel' but it does not join. When I refresh the page it resets back to 'Part Channel'. Name changed from misamigosplaygames to Always_Flank_Left. I have modded the bot but it does not show up in the chat. It does not respond to any commands.

I solved my problem. All I had to do was log out and reconnect inside of OBS. Old account name still shows up in user management though.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

so i have 2 separate raid alerts going off as different overlays. one is a scrolling text with emotes, and the other is an mp4.

when hardware acceleration is turned on, the emotes and text look great, but the video stutters/stops at different points every time. when acceleration is off, the video works fine but the emotes and text stutter like crazy.

I made no changes to the alerts. I have used the system for quite some time, and today I wanted to emulate a test to ensure my alert would populate on screen. Currently, I cannot repeat the error. It was stuck on a loop until I disabled the subscriber alert function, and then re-enabled.

In streamelements the shoutout appears on screen but in obs it doesn't appear, I have made sure to have it layered above everything else in the scene and I have refreshed the cache and made sure the link was correct but can't get it to work. any solutions?

2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

We don't directly interfere with any streamer's loyalty points settings or stream store. If there's an issue with your points or a redemption, you'll need to speak with the streamer or one of their moderators.

Since you recently changed your name, you'll need to use !rename your_old_name in the chat to reclaim the points.

But since you changed your name, you need to let the bot know to update the points. Your name is already updated on twitch, but you must claim it.

Just type !rename b0ku8 in chat and it will fix it.

I've already explained this.

The statistics from your old name will not transfer over to your new name.

It will forever display 36,220 messages sent from that username as that username is the one who sent it.

Since you changed your name, you will start fresh on the count. You can not change over the statistics from one username to another. That is not possible. It will forever show that number and there is no way to change it

Adjusting the size of the alert box in the online overlay editor can change the size, you won't be able to change the size that well in OBS

I got a minor issue with my OBS.
I'm streaming CS:GO the past 1 year. Never got any issues with sound, or with lag.
A month ago my I was streaming CS, and my Desktop sound (not the mic) started delaying like 1-2.5 sec.
I tried playing Minecraft, and Rust, sound was okay.
1 week ago I had a 6 hour stream, Streamed Minecraft for 4 hours, all sound was perfect, no delay, no lag. Started playing CS and the desktop sound started delaying again.
I was really upset, so I took all the game settings down to the lowest, made my FPS limit to 180, same shit.
I was thinking something is wrong with my windows or any of the drivers. I reinstalled my pc with Windows 10 Pro.
I changed the cooling paste on my CPU, and GPU including the heatpads of the GPU.
I tried streaming CS again, sound was perfect. The stream lasted for 5 hours.
Yesterday started a CS stream again for 2 hours, but my audio delay came back.
I have no idea what could be the issue.
If anyone can help me to resolve the issue, I promise I can PAY for the guy who can help me to resolve my issue.

i'd recommend that you channel everything through the broadcast stream mix to remove system/game from obs and then you can hear mediarequest through the music channel, which you can remove from VODs (same as spotify)

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

If you’re using goal widgets, you can edit the progress of any goal by going to Activity Feed > Widget Data > Goals. • Merging accounts allows for faster ways to switch between accounts

Hi, I have this wierd issue where the video for my follower alerts keeps freezing after 0.5 sec on my Twitch stream - it shows up fine in OBS. I have a separate text box that also triggers on a follow, so basically two elements that get shown if someone follows. The video freezes, text box works fine, text still wiggling around. Setup looks like pic related

I also have a raid alert that gets cut short about half a second near the end if it triggers on stream. Again in OBS it shows up flawlessly. Has anybody experienced something like this?

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hello! I am working on creating an animated overlay with transparent spaces for webcams and camera frames. I have created a transparent .webm file, which I have confirmed has transparent spots for the cameras. However, when I upload it to StreamElements in my overlay, it appears to lose its transparency (the camera spaces are black instead of transparent in the StreamElements overlay editor).

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

How to separate Media Request (MR) audio in OBS:

MUTE MR FOR YOURSELF, STREAM CAN HEAR

1. Make a new overlay in the editor, ONLY add the Media Request widget.
2. Add a new browser source in OBS, add the URL and set the dimensions correctly.
3. Tick the box for Control audio via OBS
4. Go to Edit > Advanced Audio, set your MR overlay to Monitor Off. Note: This will play through the Desktop Audio, if you mute your desktop audio, it will mute the MR.

CONTROL AUDIO SEPARATELY FROM YOU AND STREAM

1. For this you will need a VAC (use command !vac).
2. Run your MR either in Chrome or in Ground Control (use command !gc). Note: Do NOT click on SHOW ON STREAM.
3. Set Chrome or GC in the VAC as an audio input and output.
4. Add the audio output from VAC as an audio input in OBS. Note: This will not be able to show the video in OBS.

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)

4. Start SE.Live

I believe that only shows if the option "Show subscriber messages" is enabled for the subscriber gift/community gifts.
As the user cannot send a message, it shows the default Twitch message, but I'm not entirely sure about that

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Make sure that you have the proper resolution for the browser source (1920x1080).

Also make sure that you have "preview live on stream" selected when you emulate. that is how OBS knows to display the overlay

Lastly, make sure that you have no other browser sources or layers on top of it as it may block the visibility of the overlay.
