#discord-server-feedback

Looking forward to the future of Battlefield 👀
I have all the channels muted except #game-news lol, how should I know
Bring back regular role color selection
This is already been addressed, but keep the server well and healthy. I wouldn’t want this place to die
Add a bug reports channel
I wanted to report a bug https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Annoying-AI/m-p/14023189/highlight/false#M31703
But it doesnt seem theres any place to do that
A massive issue as well that many ppl want fixed
I though they got rid of the anticheat?
Hopefully the feedback from us actually make a change, we saw how community felt against 2042
Ikr
this is just the feedback channel for the discord, not for the game
Well a feedback channel for the game itself would go out of hand within the first hour
Definitely. The forums are good enough as that’s a direct line to devs that can get filtered through
The forums never felt good to me... No response and often no adequate categories and it's unnecessarily hard to interact with the forum from a user experience perspective. I'd welcome a discord forum channel with certain templates for bugs and feature requests.
discord is way better than forums + you can just build forums to this server if admins see the use for it
If they set it up as a coherent thread list then yeah that’d be welcome. But if it ends up as one channel where people just constantly vent then that won’t serve much purpose. It’s just that I’ve made several bug reports and critiques in the past and got personal responses from devs and community managers, with relevant fixes a few months after, so it always felt pretty responsive for me
They added a new one but the cheater situation is still as bad as before
Here's my list of feedback and suggestions; Have a general battlefield suggestion/feedback board for legacy support to older titles such as a few minor tweaks to gameplay or long standing bug issues that could be patched. Have a more clear and defined in-server 'rank' system so that way members that're new can understand how to unlock other permissions.
*forum, not board
Hi.
This channel is for feedback for the discord server.
I'll delete some comments that do not belong here.
Is what I said not applicable here or is this just a general statement?
Generally :)
Already deleted the messages that needed to be deleted
Oh okay, just wanted to make sure.
Why is it against the rules to recruit for a clan? That makes literally no sense whatsoever and is a great way to kill team based play and working together with like-minded individual.
Y'all have proven that you cannot handle making a game where making friends and sticking together is something that is easy and fun to do. Disbanding lobbies, a friends list that breaks half the time, no dedicated servers... like come on.
And now you want to take away the ability and make it banned to recruit people to a clan? I don't know what y'all have going on in those heads of yours, but it makes literally no sense and it seems like you're trying to kill your player base.
Also, what makes you think you have the right to make it where people need your approval to recruit other players to play in a clan? This is a video game, not a company, not the government, a video game. Let players have the freedom to do whatever they want to do and stay out of it. Make a good game and make it where the community can play together and do whatever they want and just step back and let players have their fun.
Your job is to balance a video game, make it playable, remove bugs, and all that fun stuff, not to police a discord server designed around making friends and playing with people who who enjoy a similar play style.
ngl idk what kind of feedback I can put here
•Can the old regulars get the vip role like in the dark ages of the server (Ik it’s a question)
•regulars having the option to pick colors does seem pog
•Having different battlefield forums (like bf1, bfv, bf4 and soon bf2042) under #battlefield-legacy-titles could be kek
•art starboard and regular starboard would be pog to have back
•have a new channel called idk “ gameplay vids ” for the lads to post their epic gameplay moment vids (since people been abusing it on the #screenshots-and-clips
•might be biased on this one but can we do a yearly best clip and who ever gets the most votes gets the pog keyplayer role (like the old days
)
•idk might comeback to make a new feedback list
also forgot can we bring back BFD Minecraft

Things are still being worked on behind the scenes. I'm sure they will address it soon
We will see. Highly doubtful, but here's hoping you don't kill this server like you did to the games you make.
Did anyone say IMG and GIF perms yet? Otherwise I want it. I also want the ability to choose between a variety of colors as a member, and not make every single one of us blue.
The experience on the server should mostly remain unchanged after the transfer is completed, so I'm hopeful
soon (tm)
for both? @supple trout
No clan recruiting is stupid AF. That's actively against teamwork and collaboration amongst players and player friendships. Wtf?
The previous recruitment channel relied on a bot that has been removed as part of the transfer, and I guess we're waiting for EA to come up with their own alternative
Why not just let people post in a channel for recruitment
Instead of relying on a bot
Except the problem is, it's specifically stated in the rules that trying to recruit into another server is grounds for being banned
So y'all can say whatever you want, but it's pretty clear with the goal is
Previously it was not very fun to moderate, as many didn't follow the format. But that's an opinion some of us previous mods had
I don't have all the answers as to what is to come for now. I think we'll see something come next week
Invites to other discord servers have always been removed here
nothing new
you are looking way to deep for intentions that don't exist
I didn't say that now did I, but y'all removed the bot that allowed to post for clans, and now you're saying you can't even invite other people or say hey I have a Discord with a bunch of people who like to do "X" why don't you join us?
All I'm saying is to be patient over the weekend
No VOIP on launch, disbanding lobbies, broken friends list, one man army specialist at launch, the track record of forcing solo play is in your DNA, I'm not inferring anything.
Oh and the squad stuff yall had to completely overhaul
What are you talking about
I'm getting sidetracked, but this is just the next thing in a long line of things that seem to intend to inhibit team play

New bots are replacing old bots, so everything being perfect the first few days should not be expected
I'm not employed by EA, I'm a community member who volunteered as moderator here
Have fun with all the questions, salute to you
And that's awesome, I'm glad that you're here engaging with me, truly
None of this is meant to be an insult in the slightest, it's just a major concern that I and I'm sure many other players have with the team based aspect of this game, and this is just kind of the last straw, making it a banable offense to ask somebody to to come join a different server
That being said, thank you for showing great interest in the recruitment channel. I'll be sure to advocate for it, should EA for some unexpected reason not want to have one (which I doubt)
That would be greatly appreciated, thank you
Thank you.
I agree 100% that was my favorite part about Battlefield server recently they removed from forums and now from Discord after taking over.. hopefully the make an alternative and still we get an option for it
@supple trout my condolences lass but your a pog champ
To but it as bluntly as possible; some clan recruiters were some of the most difficult rule breakers to deal with. Lots refused to follow simple rules and guidelines on posts. When stuff like that happens more strict rules get applied.
Until the next title
We tried that. Lots of inappropriate things
Since this discord is getting a dedicated mod team provided by EA that can be more active in rule enforcement, can we get pic and video perms in regular chats since there's now more concrete containing of spam, troll, or toxic posts?
!!regular
Thank you for replying, and I'm sure that there's always bad apples, but banning something that's a core part of what makes discord so awesome doesn't seem like the best response to that.
I've never gotten the regular role
Cause you didn't make it stricter you just straight up banned it. There's a pretty big difference between the two responses
Oh it became stricter through the bot
I'm talking about currently not previously
Ah yes
Yeah, that been a major concern for me as well ever since the transfer, but they also removed recruitment thread on EA forums as well, idk if they want to have same direction for Discord server too,
Considering Battlefield a fully team based game and the chances you had by making your clan and doing fun clan wars, its pretty sad to see us losing that option,
As mentioned, I'd like to say this is probably a stop-gap for now until something more substantial releases.
But I can't confirm.
Cause frankly, we don't know.
Because currently, if I go make a post in the main battlefield chat, and say "hey the ram clan is looking for players who enjoy vehicle based gameplay and want a group of guys to hang out with", that puts me at risk of being banned
There was a time period where it became a mess to moderate, so it was removed. It was later reinstated with a different recuitment system entirely (the bot)
When a ton of the recruitment posts are glorifying ww2 related topics you have no other options. That's why our rules were very strict, it kept on happening and the clans were doing everything possible to bypass previous filters added. Didn't matter how many got banned because another member would come in right after continuing it.
Tho I will add to this tho
can the regular role be permitted it’s just that it’s not pog that regular roles gets yeeted after a lad or lads goes inactive for a while
I do get it some games like Call of Duty doesn't have but again, they are not team based game like Battlefield and usually are tactical shooters which doesn't have a much point on making clans and teams etc..
Also I do understand if they want people to be more engaged in Battlefield official server but still I hope they leave an alternative for us
As previously mentioned, there will probably be a system put in place for recruitment for clans at a later date; I'm sure the team at EA & DICE understand that clans are an integral part of the community.
Would be silly to think otherwise.
That makes sense and I can appreciate how frustrating it is to deal with people like that. I honestly don't have a solution, I wish I did. I just really don't see how completely banning recruitment is the answer. I'm not sure where the middle ground lies, but I would love to be a part of that if y'all are looking for help as I believe in Battlefield and I love the team based gameplay and I really want this community to be thriving and active.
Recruitment channel was removed now because the bot that managed it was removed from the server. Only option was to close the channel as it would’ve turned into another free for all
Except for the fact that everything they've done in this game promoted solo play, and then they had to backtrack after community pushback
Again, I know most of y'all are probably not employed by dice/EA, and I'm not trying to bring up the faults of the game, but they do apply to this specific situation
None of us are
Yeah that is really a big concern, I had my amazing moments on creating clan and doing clan war with fellow community members, those clans events were tons of fun for me and rest of friends we made across Battlefield, even at BF2042,
I hope we get an option in coming future, or until the new Battlefield release,
OK then why can't y'all allow recruiting then if y'all aren't associated with dice/EA? What you're saying has a two sided face to it
You're saying that EA/dice has a plan but then all the mods here don't work for them? You're not adding up.
Server is transferred to Battlefield officials
We're no longer here come Monday. Things like recruitment will be in EA's hands
EA is definitely paying attention to this server so as long as you keep criticism and feedback constructive it will be looked at.
We are no longer on the moderator staff after this weekend.
We have zero say because EA will be taking over entirely.
We do not work for them, no.
We are all volunteers, and have been, since the server opened.
Then in all kindness, your replies mean nothing. If you have no say whatsoever, why are you pushing back? I posted this here to bring attention to the people who can make the change, not people who have no power or say whatsoever.
The whole purpose of this is to provide feedback for the future of the discord, but none of you have any power to affect that future
The people who do are also here
True, I really hope they don't take the same direction,
Battlefield should be Battlefield
idk about anyone here but pretty sure we need this channel on a timer
We need feed back to make the server pog
Our replies to you are explaining why the recruitment channel was removed for the time being, as it was a third party bot, not an EA bot, that was managing the recruitment channel, and now that EA is taking over, that bot was removed, thus the closing of the channel.
We can still make suggestions to the EA team as soon to be former staff, but whether or not they agree with those suggestions is another thing entirely.
In that case thank you. I'll leave it at that.
Side note: with EA directly taking over this discord and committing their teams to it. Does that mean the next Battlefield will be all in on community feedback and support?
You're welcome. 🙂
No clue, but they have said that discord will be much more utilised for feedback in general than before
It looks like it from this text, but, perception can mean many different things.
I do got another feedback but it might be selfish or rude to those who haven’t
but can regular roles have their own channel to yap on (like how the cod server has)
Ngl would be cool with ingame content drop from events here if they did that
Agree
i suggest adding recent stat feature to the bot, gives a better overview for players
there is a stat bot that already does it aswell
What do you mean?
a bot that shows stats from the moment the recent stat is activated, basically the stat bots that are used in community servers the first time you use / recent player_name it wont show you the stats right away but after that itll start counting the matches that youve played recently/currently and it only shows data for the matches from then on
i can send a screenshot i feel like my explination of it is quite bad
theres overall stats that shows all time stats from every game and recent can show you stats from example the last 2 games youve played
the amount of kills, deaths, kpm, kd
I believe that data is pulled from tracker network
(and they don't have the concept of matches sadly)
wdym?
yeah
but its just more convinent to have it on a bot
especially after bftrackers update
BF2042 on Tracker Network doesn't have display matches
i.e. not something mozzy can implement
yeah i know it with 42 but bf3 4/1/5 support it
ngl im so sad that 42 doesnt have it
also why i find it more convinient is that bf tracker you have to check each round individually but recent stats can basically give you a very quick overview on your last game
but also you can like play 3-4 games and then get the overview on the last 3-4 games you played
its just a cool feature to compare your overall stats to recents i think
because for example my first 400 hours on bf1 was like 30fps on a good day and i got really bad stats on those 400 hours so my overall stats are kinda ruined but im getting good recent stats and its just kind of fun to compare the growth
weapon stats would be cool aswell
accurate weapon stats*
And their own VC
Regular chat would be insane
Would be nice for us OGs
Fraid #general would never be used again
Probably won't happen tbh
I’m sure some of the wacky characters will still use general
So is there any way to report users without pinging the mods, like say a person comes into chat and start talking about his awesome new way to earn money using his awesome crypto bank tool with a link to a site that is definitely not a crypto scam, is there going to a ticket system to report those soon?
Pretty sure they got no automation on moderation due to wanting a personal approach and not bots communicating and managing appeals.
I guess some cases are obviously unwanted here and moderating could partly be automated to relieve moderation of the BF Discord management.
yes, @subtle dust will be enabled next week
Nice, Looks interesting.
I guess (folks, )regulairs, Veterans or BF Discord management could vote to manage the cases?
no that will be seen by ea/moderators only
The system could also proof to be useful to build Bots and automation by using them later on as filters by adding / voting contextually relevant words as we filter out the clutter.
Categories like; Spam, Scam and the many others.
And effectively creating a filter for Discord overall.
I think that's a good thing, However I can imagine that high server ranked users could assist in first level judgement if or when BF Discord Moderation gets swamped.
I myself aren't very active on chat but am véry active on VoIP and would not mind to spend time on low level first judgement of items as former admin and staff of EA/DICE affiliated community.
Also for me... EA has have the opportunity to copy my real life ID (2016 tho) thus folks would have a guarantee I wouldn't mess about and take it seriously.
I know EA is managing BF Discord due to having a larger available staff crue and thus has more capacity then DICE to manage Discord thus I suggested in the past to let EA handle it and include DICE as secundair to stay in touch with it's playerbase.
Thus there is likely no need for it.
Have a legacy support team for older titles and a channel created under the same idea as well so we can have occasional updates to just maintain the older servers, nothing major, just some needed tweaks. It could work in theory such as this; The channel's name would be 'Battlefield legacy support and feedback' where we'd put in reports of long standing issues in older games like BF4, HL or 1 and the team would release a bi-monthly update or otherwise when needed to ensure the games still run smoothly. Outside of patches, we could also ask for content, for example the BFV pre-order weapons that're as of now permenantly softlocked. The weapons could be made into a bundle along with the howdah shotgun pistol and the C96 international that'd be sold for 7USD$, a dollar for each gun. There's plenty of other uses outside of these initial suggestions to help preserve the remaining multiplayer servers. Hope this idea takes off.
You know that's not gonna happen
Oh gee, maybe that's why I'm uh, I don't know....
suggesting it
Remember, all; this is only for feedback related to the discord server, not games.
I know, that's only an example of the suggested channel's functionality. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.
Just wanting to remind everyone, not singling you out. 🙂
Any game related content can be posted on Battlefield forums and @ Friday Night Battlefield discussions.
The discord is only for discord use overall with the exception of FNB weekly events.
Join them on Friday night, keep in mind it's mostly about 2042.
Legacy support is there in form of Portal, limited yet existent.
Hoping Portal and administrative functionalities will in the future be extended to it's former extensive potential as requested by many thousands of players and those are just the one I listened to myself.
Also I would love to see legacy support...more then available in portal so far.
Thus from this community request Frostbite and older game engine related studio's have released Portal.
Portal is the replacement for Server browser and server hosting.
They had to create a game version and content for available for purchase to allow for publicly available server hosting.
Yes, the options are limited and I miss AdKats RCON and other tools as well that allowed scripting and automation among others with administrative server and player management.
Hoping SQL and other languages will return to BF in future versions of BF Series and it's legacy Portal of which I hope it will be forwarded and continued to ensure legacy games for the long haul.
Missing more legacy content, YES!, I agree it is A LOT of work coding and re-rendering legacy games to be made available in portal.
Yet I can honestly say that even with it's very limited basics portal is a hit, a truly loved successor if one leaves aside what folks are missing.
With other words, Portal 2.0-20 25/26 can be a a real hit if as much legacy content will be made available as possible with ofcourse keeping up quality.
...
I heard many 10's of thousands complain 2024 was a bust...
I agree on a few points myself despite being a +20K Hours BF veteran and absolutely in love with the series.
All I missed was a more solid hit registrations in the early months of release like many others have mentioned to me.
Besides that more legacy content in portal, what is there is amazing yet I feel with more personal, less loss if (dev) staff and more fluent workflows more content could have been released despite of limited work hours availability internally @ Frostbite/DICE.
But yes, fair point... keep it limited to BF Discord related topics Folks.
Battlefield Series can be discussed on forums, social platforms and for those whom can track and find it....direct emails.
While I know we've had the art-cinematics channel for a while, I would personally appreciate it if there was one for games other than battlefield too. Simply cause I like seeing and sharing cool photos, and since we discuss other games in the relevant channels I just think it'd be neat
I second this

Dude, this isn't the channel for that
Not feedback but cheers to the years I spent as a mod here during BFV & 2042. The admin/mod team were incredible and it's kinda sad to see the end of an era but hopefully EA can take this and grow from it. Y'all got this!!

That would be pog
Guys, let's keep this chat clean.
Can i suggest a time limit to the channel for things like this
More community events would be nice
Add back the starboard for general
It was fun adding stuff there and made general fun when you saw the sort of stuff added
Starboard had 20-30 viewers per month in our analytics. Most pointless channel to have. Just takes up space.
To make this discord related, it would be a channel collecting/following events of other battlefield communities and their server announcements.
Ngl this whole server kinda has 30 viewers per month
Ngl stands for?
Good point, BF stuff can be discussed on discord, as long as in the còrrect channel.
My bad sry, been on VoIP so much and barely on chat it didn't come to mind.
Thanks.
@cinder elk Please keep the ability for boosters to Embed in the server and general. That was a much used feature here
dont tag him
its in the server rules
Bring back the regular voice channels
They changed the rules whippy do. I follow OG BF server rules
That was in the old rules as well
They wasn't even here
I was 😉
But but... you were so quiet

Anyways can you still consider this
I feel like our rights to have this should be the same
Since we have been supporting for a long time
I never got that ping so thank you
I should get the regular role soon hopefully since I have been around a bit
you already a member bro
Regular role isn’t the member role
there is no more reg 😦
guys you don't have to unban everyone
They did
yeah they sure did
check Other-Games to see who's back
They unbanned everyone?!
That's one of the dumbest things someone could do, outside of trying to give Mike Tyson an earful if it's true
yeah over the years there are some bad eggs already identified, we don't need them unbanned just to be banned again
Mmm 🤔 I see who you talking about. I’m surprised
It's been nearly a year
But I do agree that there are very bad eggs that deserved a perm ban
some of them maybe have changed, and to go in and sort out between the thousands of bans might've been a bit much
yes that would be a great addition
any reason why cursed_mcdonalds was changed to cursed_fries
hence why it was called cursed mcdonalds
I was asked to make a mcdonalds one, so I refused in the nicest way possible
Day 5, no legacy regular, no regular… no perms even for server boost
Maybe next week
you don't need a role to signify you're legacy or a mere normal regular. just the sight of thy name should make a non regular shudder with delight and glee
We aren’t special enough, we gotta wait for that update to drop
We know how long they can drop a update
forever
I wonder who asked
Day 109 still no perms or legacy Regular role
Gib image perms back plox

Do they even read this chat
I feel ya non-image perms frustrations all over to here
They probably don't because people are asking for the same goddamn thing over and over.
whoa, just like with their games. Getting ignored in real time when requesting bare-bones changes that'll actually make the experience more engaging for us is truly the greatest EA experience there is.
Anyone know why the recruitment channel was deleted?
I could be wrong, but perhaps they want to change it, improve it somehow
like they did with the #how-to-report-and-appeal channel etc
I've found a good temp solution in the lfg channels by making the squad up requests more broadband and 'recruit' orented, that seemed to do the trick for the time being.
Thank you both for responding
#discord-server-feedback message
Read from here down. 🙂
Thank you! So plans to bring it back with a new bot eventually?
Unsure. Don't really know EAs plan; hopefully they will bring something together for it.
Whether a new bot, or forums, or just a channel.
Copy. Thanks again
No worries. 🙂
happy to help, too
How long till old regs get the regular member role?
Nevermind it’s here

so do only regs get image perms
Regs, staff/dev and legacy mods
Do be aware, we do not yet know what getting regular entails. Nobody has said (as far as I know) what is required.
a discord account is required
Could we get a more formal answer as to when former regulars get their roles back? While i’ve been joking around with false rage about the time it has taken, it has become slightly frustrating seeing other former regulars obtain their roles back while I and other people such as FG, lego, and the like are just left with zero information as to why everyone else is getting it yet we don’t. I’m not asking for you guys to rush us ahead of the line should there be one, but i would like to at least know why we are still waiting.
truly rigged
apprently its gonna take some time, from what I've heard and been told my perception is that EA has gone in and basically gutted the entire server on the back end and are rebuilding it
That’s rough
Sounds Awesome!
Why didn't they just do that before the takeover with test channels and post an update with an 'everyone' ping in the server news channel and then implement said changes immediately?
Nothing here is streamlined in the slightest and it's causing massive server-wide stagnation due to the fact it's taken the better part of a week just to add a marginal percentage of what was here previously. Within reason I understand they need time to get things done the right way but still, this should've been done more effectively.

We silently judge EA's descisions most of the time, their lack of care and proper planning for this server being one of them.
Idk if you trolling or not but this exact channel you are typing in should show they care 🤷 🤔
I doubt many have experience of switching huge Discord servers from one complete setup to another completely different one while retaining roles etc. Also, bots going through 100.000+ users multiple time to do role stuff just takes time I would imagine - the few who have made a Discord bot that does anything like it on a huge scale will probably know that.
Also, the switch is well placed in the well known downtime between games.
It's easy to be overlycritical of what one don't understand is what I'm saying I guess.
a small pinch of fun poking.
No, I understand perfectly fine how complex such a task is. It's just EA usually rushing things out in unfinished states is what I'm doing a jab at. Par for the course and all.
Feedback: Add Zeppelin emoji to server
Or better yet just have one of the legacy mods rp as him
This wasn’t a rushed task at all, was in the works for months. Another example of how a typical server user has no idea of what goes on behind the scenes.
well it'd be nice to have some sort of communication about these things at the very least. This channel's a good start don't get me wrong but the server's stagnation all joking aside's due to the lack getting image/link permissions previously. Here's hoping the new server formatting would make it a more clear process.
I don’t imagine image permissions being high on the priority list, there’s lots of behind the scenes things to sort out… way more than will ever be explained here. Not being able to post gifs for a couple weeks isn’t the end of the world.
But muh gifz
I think it was partly that some people started getting it, and then for like a day nobody else did
nobody wanna feel like they lost their perm's or anything
Aye that was exactly the issue i had. I was fine when there was no regular but all of a sudden people are getting regular again and here you are with no clue why you aren’t
Just a simple “a bot is adding roles, will take a few days to get everyone” would have been nice and quelled my frustrations
It was stated. In a pinned message by t0tal.
And here
Those tell me that regular was coming back and that there would be some changes to how it is kept and taken. We were aware regular was coming back and i while i made joking frustrations in #general, i only came here and seriously complained when people were getting regular and yet some members weren’t
I’m not bitching about not being a regular for a few days, i’m bitching that people were regaining their roles back and for the rest of us weren’t told why they have theirs back and we still waited

Total was going through the list of regulars, one at a time, and assigning the roles.
Not everything can happen immediately.
Hey and that’s all i wanted to hear
T0tal is only human.
As i said, i just wanted an explanation as to what’s specifically happening
I see
So why don't I have regular hmm? I have been around for a while and active in VCs more than text
So same statement goes as above. I can see the pain of going through everyone
Did you have regular when the server transitioned? If not, then you don't get it.
Not at the time but I will get it soon I hope
But if they just said they will be adding it back soooo that means it must of been discontinued between the time I got here and up till now
So I don't know how much the server has changed
Again; read the messages I linked.
Maybe add a legacy feedback channel so there could be updates for older titles that'd tweak long standing issues such as glitches and weapon imbalences.
Atleast suggest something realistic
The old games are done done KEK.
Isn't it? BF1's still going strong with an average of 7k players daily from what I've seen on PSN alone.
Which still pains me because many people still played them and had amazingly strong numbers, instead of killing their legacy DICE should've killed the game no one wanted at all, 2042. Take the budget for that game and just resell the original games' campaigns and multiplayer as a current generation bundle.
If you know dice. If you don’t, well they don’t do any remasters or remakes or whatever you all it. Would be dope to see. But it also requires a lot of time to remake it from ground up again for new gens.
Set of making a brand new game in the franchise
Not even a remaster, just a port of the original games, with some tweaks to gameplay like adding sprinting to the older titles and having some accessibility features too with more bindable control schemes. Sort of like the Battlefront Classic Collection. But with Battlefield. Maybe some aditional patches to fix long standing bugs.
Why do all of that when they just continue making new games and content for their current game?
It'd be doable, but given the cost of just modernizing the code and ensuring it's stable is the main reason why I'd say it'd be quite the task, but if enough of us ask for it, maybe we'll get a 'bad company collection definitive edition' for PS4/5 and XBO/SS that could be cross platform.
because on top of that, they'd be able to keep legacy titles alive and still make money off of it. Imagine have the rent a server feature from BF4 onwards but with 1942, or Battlefield 2?
They'd make more money that way because not only would it be the initial sale of a game like that, it'd also be passive income from rented servers.
That’s alot of reverse engineering tbh. Relearn the game, codes and ect. They are used to new engine, game and codes
Also Star Wars collection is made by other people. Not the OG dev team themselves
Well if the OG BF3 was released we'd not have to worry about Pandemic going under, selling star wars to disney was one of the worst trade deals in history.
If, wym if. It been dropped and worked on ages ago
Battlefront 3, it was set to come out and was almost done but since EA got the star wars liscense and disney owned star wars we never got the third game and thus Pandemic studios was shut down and then bought up by EA as well only to later be disolved entirely
SW BF3 isn’t a thing
the game was so close to being finished too! Rebellion picked up the scraps and made a DS and PSP version of it to salvage what they could
Sucks due to license reasons. Hopefully we see a 3rd one in the reboot series. That will be years from now
Or you know, just polish off the original SWBF3 and release it on the PS3/XB360 and current gen consoles. It was 98% finished and whomever has the rights to SW for games now should just finish it.
Question about regular role, will it be like the old regualr rules?
or are you planning on changing it?
there was different rules for that?
interesting
No I'm asking if it'll follow different rules
like I meant, how would other users who just joined be able to get it?
where is the recruitment page? I see it's gone but when will it be back?
Hi that was maintained by us when we were in charge, as we're not in charge anymore the bot maintaining it is gone!
Good feedback though, that would definitely benefit making friends to play with 👏
Agreed, and we don't even need a bot anyways, we could just keep the same concept, fill out a copy/paste template and then post it. with a 6hr cooldown to prevent spam
clans too
vouch
I personally would love to see this channel as forums channel so you could see by reactions what gets popular and what doesn't
Or at the very leaqst let us talk in the forums channel, there's like 20 of them and they're all closed off
those are old posts about game feedback
recently checked it was 25k on steamcharts alone
on pc ofc
noice
pretty crazy though pc has roughly 3x more players than console just by steamcharts alone
Not including EA app
ye exactly
thats just steamcharts
went off-topic there though sorry
Still, bf1 seeing such high activity even 8 years later should be cause to make a support channel for it.
What support would you want to give it?
A legacy of life update to fix minor desync issues with shots not registering, reduce the threshold to start a server from 20 people down to 4 like in BF4 and HL to increase server activity, reduce the price of all DLC to 5USD, the Premium Pass down to 15USD and the main game to 20USD on digital to entice new people to come into the game for a 35USD dollar price, add a 8USD weapon bundle of all the BFV pre-order guns, melee weapons and the C96 international along with the howdah shotgun pistol. Also balance the SMG08's fire rate to what it was initially with a 2% increase of damage, make the Martini Grenade launcher function as an impact grenade with 350% damage boost to regular grenade, make all double barrel shotgun variants register the double shot as one shot instead of a two shot burst of both barrels firing one after another. Outside of all this the only thing I can think of is making the spectator mode filters applicable to the main game in display settings to give the game a better look.
Doesnt need any rebalance imo
I will quite literally throw money at DICE, for the 8USD weapon bundle
The Martini henry grenade launcher doesn't do jack shit, it's too weak because of the flack perks.
Hitreg is more likely to be client side not server sided (idk about console)
Id scrape my scalp off if i got killed by splash damage from henry launcher
Nade spam is enough of a problem in 1
it's an elite kit, it's meant to actually be useful, same issue with the dreadnaughts, they disolve into shredded cheese and do no damage.
The crossbow launcher fires twice the speed of the martini grnade launcher
It is really good alr imo
Its twice as more cancerous aswell
Id uninstall lol
If anything lessen grenade spam
There's still money to be made with BF1, and hell, do you have any idea how many people would buy a weapon pack of all the previously cut content? Almost everyone I talk to on PSN at least says they'd pay for these guns and the incursions melee weapon if they were sold as a bundle. DICE needs a steady income to compensate the losses of BFV and 2042, lowering the prices of BF1, it's dlcs/season pass along with adding a weapon pack dlc would bring in 53USD if it's a new player, that'd not only be enticing because of the price, but also due to the weapons being sold, it'd both bring new players in along with their money but also old players back to play with newer guns.
It's one gun, for the elite kit, the tank hunter gets three grenades and the flametrooper gets three fire grenades too
Maybe even give BF1 a 'next gen' upgrade too. Metro Exodus did it and it's amazing.
Eh idk
Was just wondering what happened to the clans looking for members section?
TY.
gib image perms back plox
I post a PSA for a server I created in BF4, then I got a message from the discord bot saying my message was reported
I need a mod to verify why this is the case
Is this not the Battlefield discord?
No @mod role or @owner for discord
I don’t mean to come off as rude but how do you plan on running a community without any direct channel for support?
“Legacy members” is not a mod list
Can we get a ticket made to appeal warnings/mutes, to be looked over, if there is a legitimate argument to be made against the warning or mute?
Why wasn't that a thing from the start?
I have zero clue. I don't make the decisions. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Still, quite the oversight. Hope we get a legacy support channel so we can get legacy of life updates for BF3, 4, HL, 1 and maybe V.
I assume things can be appealed in #how-to-report-and-appeal
Also, older games 99% will not get touched unless it's new anti-cheat or something completely breaks
oh nvm I just read the channel
Yeah, no appeals allowed.
Lol
not having the right to appeal is pretty terrible
silly billy forgot that this is the feedback channel, for giving feedback in the channel about the server.
just lowering your expectations
After twenty fortypoo I got none left
Honestly if the next one even works at all that'd be 50USD I owe someone, we've taken bets on weather or not it'll even be functional, let alone good.
why are you pinging me?
There's no feedback channel for games themselves yet so I'll put this here, it's an insanely detailed fan mod that fixes historical inaccuracies in Battlefield 1; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFm-XWifajk
It’s a video game
While I was expect there will be a return of the star board for #screenshots-and-clips, I would like to propose a new board. I believe there should be a board dedicated to shaming people with terrible photography in the hopes that they either learn to get better or lose hope and give up. I believe the addition of this channel would lead to the long term betterment of photo quality in #screenshots-and-clips
Some people take terrible photos and I think it’s for their sake just as much as ours that we have a place to “guide” them
The new mods can‘t even handle the current cinematic channel
And that is why it is up to us
Unfortunately you can’t report someone for taking shit photos and that needs to change
Let us appeal warnings. Half the time i'm being warned for swearing or screwing around with someone, and I don't think it's fair to have that reflect on me when I don't believe it's warranted.
not being able to at least appeal would be EA acting as if they could do nothing wrong, which is of course not true and I don't think they believe that either
so being able to appeal in some is certainly important
I disagree with that. So far EA has made zero mistakes so far in the handling of the server
that's not the point
the point is that nobody is infallible, the reason why support systems/forums etc have ways to appeal is because admins and moderators make mistakes, nobody is perfect
so to not prepare for at least making a hasty decision or missing a piece of information and making a mistake in moderation would be strange
even if they dont have to use it, they should have one, they arent skynet
That people still play and devote their time to.
Can you give regs permission to start activities
or give to every member since, it allows people to do stuff in general VC and have fun with poker night or other activities
Since there's no channel that's more fitting for this, why not release a Battlefield 1 Vinyl collection?
Give us the base game and DLC soundtracks on Vinyl records? I'd drop a phat 50USD for that.
Chaos will reign.
Or people will have fun
Being able to play poker night
There is no way to moderate it.
Especially for this mod team.
Alright, but what about only giving it to regulars
It isn't like it's community ran anymore.
I understand but do you support giving it to regulars?
Not here, no.
So when can we expect some responses from EA here? Cause so far we’ve seen virtually nothing. So far the only people responding 99 percent of the time is legacy mods and admins, which works ok for the most part, but when two people have brought up you can’t appeal warns, an official response seems quite important
Paaaaaarticularly since this is an official server now
I've even asked a mod in a support ticket while reporting someone else.
The mod did not respond, simply closed my ticket.
Should be noted that the mods don't seem to have the EA tags at all.
So far this change feels like it has done nothing but neuter the server for no good reason, while EA just immediately buggers off
But I of course am just a humble discord member, who has no clue how to run a server and has no clue of the current struggles going on
I mean i've moderated relatively large discords before. Answering questions should not be this hard, especially when they are only about the discord server itself.
Which they have control of.
Yeah I’m being severely sarcastic
I look forward to an official response
- We have no current intention for regulars to receive start activity permissions.
- We're looking into the appeal process. Expect more word on this when possible, but we're aiming to have it exist** for some rule breaks.**
- We'll also be looking into reworking this area into a forum style, since it will offer up more guidance on submitting suggestions rather than the favourite discussion of moderation.
And this is the final reminder, this area is for offering up any suggestions about the Battlefield Discord. It is not a place to be testing the moderation team, and will only result in sanctions and warnings. The intent of this server is to offer up an environment where people can talk and discuss all things Battlefield that is where the focus should be.
Maybe the #screenshots-and-clips channel should be renamed to cinematics/clips since no mod was able to clean the channel since EA took over. Or are they still ,,investigating'' like i was told in my ticket
I thought it was a new channel
I just wanna see cinematic pics not gameplay clips
But yea also having a gameplay/clips channel would be nice for those that want to post it
i made a video of battlefield 1, how do i get permission to post it in the #streams-and-videos channel
Make sure it's visible. Click "Channels and Roles", click the "All Channels" tab, make sure it's clicked.
Ah, thanks. Appreciate it.
right click "channels & roles" and check "show all channels" for more quality of life
Any reason why the recruitment tab was deleted?
#discord-server-feedback message
Read from here down. 🙂
Why's it an issue if the bot isn't an EA bot if it works?
I am no longer maintaining the bot
If they plan on adding similar functionality, they will. Just keep the feedback here and we'll see
Pity, it was really useful, instead of you maintaining it, why didn't they just have you train someone else to keep it?
We need it back it helps keep the games alive with Scrims, group games or even milsim!
It's open source if they want to use it
It's how I was able to get people into my platoon and help me preserve BF1 on PSN.
Bring back Siege of Shanghai
Mr T0TAL i would like to make some suggestions here
- I think that those who were boosting the server before the takeover should get embed perms back especially for those who hadn't achieved the regular perk because its feels like we have been robbed of our embed without fair compensation or just reasoning and it really has rubbed some the wrong way as some had used their free boosts on this server which can now be considered wasted, I understand that you are against the idea of boosting to attain permissions and the server has enough boosts as is, and is a verified server. Since the legacy mods have a role to acknowledge their roles for the past years could there be a way to introduce a legacy booster role.
- The new Mods need to be publicly shown within the member list, having an anonymous mod team does not help with transparency and could lead to corruption within the team, that's not to say nobody trusts the moderators as the previous team had done quite well its just to say that it has happened on other sites cough cough, twitch and whos to say it cant happen here.
Now I don't mean to come off as harsh but if a mod abuses their powers or makes some wonky calls they deserve to be publicly named and shamed for their actions.
That last part is exactly why they are not shown in the list.
Nobody deserves to be harassed for doing anything.
It is a bit of a grey area and yeah I was second guessing when I sent it, and consider that last bit retracted. But my concerns remain transparency is needed.
Can't tell you how many times me, or other members of the legacy mod team, were harassed & threatened over mod actions taken, and not even by us, but by other members on the team.
It's not even okay in the slightest.
Agreed. Like I said I was second guessing it and worded it pretty poorly as from my experience you and the other mods done a fine job and I never saw any abuse hurled towards the Mods though idk about dms but that's a private matter
I was under the impression that this was still in place, I will have a look.
But again, it is our stance that people should not be paying their own money in order to benefit / gain something. While I admire the show of support that boosting a server does, I really don't feel comfortable in it when it comes to a server (or game) of this scale.
The Moderation Team are actually a professional team of individuals that are paid to do this, they are not individuals that volunteer their time, nor do they really have the capacity to be abusive or selective in their power.
They all adhere to a certain matrix that defines what type of incident gets what punishment, and we as the Battlefield Community Team also review and provide routes of growth based on those actions.
It is in within no ones interests to have dialog with these individuals, or to know who they are - that's to not only protect them, but to also remove the obstacle of constant discussion around moderation.
The whole aim of this is to have it so that people are focusing less on moderators, and more on game, community, discussing great stuff within Battlefield. If people are doing those things, then the thought of moderators - or their actions - would not even be a second thought.
Can we have a art channel
The mods couldn't handle the last one, i doubt that its gonna work
Nah, we did handle it; just got monotonous. Nobody read the pinned messages
Yes the old mods did handle it
but not the new ones
thats why the channel purpose was changed now
That has actually surprised me that the mods are paid, as I said to revelation my last sentence was in poor taste and I got carried away and let some venom through and I extend my apologies for that poor behaviour. But thanks for letting the community know more about how the new moderation works.
Imagine being paid to mod a server
Fr tho. Ez job to
Wheres the clan recruitment channel?
how to get permission to post it in the streams-and-videos channel (Need Help) ????
The channel was maintained by a bot that we made when we ran the server, the bot is not here to maintain the channel anymore, so the channel would have became useless
Check out the Channels and Roles section :)
Why not just have a copy/paste template in a channel bio for recruitment and put a six hour delay for it.
Bros high iq my hero
He’s a legacy admin. He don’t have those perms anymore
A suggestion that'd remedy the issue would still be applicable to get posted here no?
A suggestion, a temporary way to appeal till you get the permanent solution
Like something quick till the other one comes up
Mr Total could we get a meme channel or would that be too much of a hassle to moderate?
I can tell you, it's too much to moderate
Battlefield memes
Be close the community, give us more ways to be active in the server. Ob to a certain extent.
Fix the 'regular' role, I've been in the server about a year and STILL don't have link or image permissions
Please.
ok ill cross that off the list then
at the very least they should say how it works these days
when do people get perms/regular
It's been eighty-four years
Maybe it's DLC
I tink that perhaps they dont know what to do yet, which is a bit worrying : )
Everyone lived together in harmony, but then everything changed when corperate took over avatar the last airbender theme
hi i just came across this section and wanted to bring up some stuff:
the first would be having a educational channel where people can talk or share stuff to help fellow new players to develop their game knowledge / sense and skills
anyone even banning cheaters? the guy about 2 week cheating non stop at Portal 1000% hardcore match and still not banned. even now he is online and cheating!
not the right channel
All the actual direct communication channels are blocked off to us so there's no better options really.
pretty crazy lol
esp if its good pay aswell
Good suggestion, I vote plus one.
However more activity on voice channels would also make it redundant / unnecessary to a degree.
Sounds like a clan/community managed server.
Please contact the admin if this is the case.
Record and report discretely, public shame comes with educating fame.
If one mentions it in public anywhere you learn cheaters to do a better job hiding it.
Be a defender, Record, report (with time stamps) and keep media private yet available to moderators and admins.
Plus one, I think that is (likely) correct.
I would not mind to be a EA Admin @BF Series Server and or Discord moderator (volunteer) in the future.
Likely will never take a paycheck in return for it.
Agreed.
One can create art in he form of Gameplay (stream) video edits, there is a channel for that.
I have had over hundreds of how-to asked/requested permissions from users since active @BF Series official Discord.
Several including myself have missed it.
If re-introduced, good suggestion.
in video thats called cinematic videos

little things makes a huge difference
and also we got #streams-and-videos
I think you should add a #media share channel for battlefield related media, memes etc.
Also a #community creations channel forum for things people made about battlefield, like art, and other stuff
@fossil delta all that stuff belongs into #screenshots-and-clips
still guys we can use a #educational where we can post everything around educating other players either by EA self or by content creators dropping their posts
or a mix or 2 diff channels each dedicated channels
does a minecraft map built by hand based on battlefield count as art?
sure
content creators? educating people? what?
exactly cats
if I need content creators to educate me about anything then society has failed
never too late to learn something or check something to learn more especially for the newer players
i mean i just played tonight with a young fella who just played one of his first matches of bf2042
and on the contrary, where did you learn a big portion of what you know based on the foundation that school and your parents thought you aswell as your friends giving advice so society is not failing again stated on the contrary sharing information to grow as a person is uplifting society
I think it would be fun to add this christmas themed discord bot. You have to grow a christmas tree with the community https://discord.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=1050722873569968128&permissions=0&scope=bot applications.commands
a shame that the art channel will eventually be that
Hi guy's! A seriously good event! The soundtrack is orchestral and amazing, the skins look so good and the darker spookier themes for the maps are pretty solid! Really hopeful for the next game! Great job it makes me spend money! Keep on whatever you're doing!
This server really needs more moderators
Are there even any EU mods?
yeah i agree'
not only mods but also a redesign
and partnerships with for example the battlefield wiki
and more communication with content creators to like promote the game
by using EA official channels to expand the playerbase thru content creator stuff and more
also like maybe partner up with twitch n stuff to like bring more attention to the game
How do you post in the streams and videos channel? It says read the pinned comment to read the rules but what does that mean. What pinned message?
Fix tenor gif not embedding
Clan recruitment section should return
I think EA stopped caring about this discord
they dont care anymore about adding systems for clan recruitment and for adding some sort of "regular" status for new players, and embedding gifs for them etc
It's been about a year of me being here, when will I get 'regular' role and are we ever getting platoon recruitments back?
Agreed, it was great but EA loves to ruin eveything that isn't broken. It's like a kid sees a vase and thinks 'that should be shattered'
They got rid of platoon support in 2042 why would they care about clans lol
Who said it had to be for 2042? The previous section allowed recruitment for all BF games. And just because there is no platoon system in 2042 doesn't mean you can't put a group together.....
I didn't say it had to be, why get so hostile lol.
I'm a BFV group leader currently with 70 members
I was making a joke, calm down
I'm not hostile. Was just answering to what you said. I don't even run clans anymore. But it's a good section to have for those looking to promote their groups and for those maybe looking to join a group.
I agree, but like I said dice has different opinions obviously by removing it
Or whoever is controlling this discord
its EA
but i think they mainly dont care yet, maybe waiting for next BF to be announced
If they can't even run a discord server properly then what hope does anything else they touch have?
Admins can we please have a better breakdown of the voice channels? Maybe into REGIONS/SERVER for easier grouping without having to scroll through LFG.
Hi,
I had a fun idea for the finals discord server, made a christmas themed bot where the goal is to grow a tree with the community. Everyone can water it but only once in a row. The more you water it the higher it grows. It has fun minigames, daily rewards and soon a advent calendar to keep the users engaged.
Its a slash command bot with basically 0 permissions. So no weird studf can happen. Currently over 2100 trees have been planted 🙂
https://discord.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=1050722873569968128
A new feature was added, tree styles, which give the tree a certain style. It would be possible to develop a specific style for the battlefield server to theme it accordingly

Great suggestion and we'll note it down for the next refresh!
Can we have a clear indicator on how to get 'regular' role? I've been here an entire year without it and it's getting rather old that I can't so much as send an image.
Also how about a feature request channel for in-game tweaks or content ideas?
Regular roles were given to individuals that were caught on our lists during the transition phase. As it stands there will be no further handing out of the role until next year. What I will say is, it isn't defined by a length of time - it is about how you conduct yourself, and there will be changes and clarity next year around this too.
The aim is for it not to be a coolcat club or clique of individuals flexing on others, and the rights that you're referring to will become more fair to attain.
Again - we haven't spoke on it because it is not being given out. More next year.
No plans for this with Battlefield 2042 at the moment, but perhaps the next one. 😉
I appreciate the total deleting of my thoughts about moderation on this server.
I thought this is where the thoughts were supposed to go.
Why even have a feedback channel if you're going to delete the feedback.
Y'know what, i'll repost it.
Why do the moderation hide from the public? Why do they have empty accounts and only speak through copy pasted statements in support tickets? Why is moderation inconsistent, or in some cases, absolutely non-existent? I am having trouble believing that the EA Takeover™️ has been beneficial to the server when it seems that it has only made moderation slower, less active, less consistent, and less reliable.
How can I trust people who don't actually exist in the community to moderate this server effectively? They seem to be incapable of dealing with problems that aren't clear and blatant, and even attempting to explain context about problematic individuals to them directly does not seem to matter, as they only seem to be concerned with judging things based on a rigid and unknown set of guidelines that frankly make no sense, I have never seen any one be tempbanned on this server except for myself and MG42, and we were tempbanned for the crime of yapping on this very channel. I've seen people get muted for posting memes, yet people who are even a little but subtle with their disruptions are not effected at all.
I get warned for answering a question someone asked me about climate change, a topic triggered by the very setting of Battlefield 2042, yet a conversation about foreign policy in the Middle East in General goes unmentioned/unpunished. I've been told that the modeation monitor the chats, I am very much doubtful of that claim, it seems that they only take action on something if it's mentioned in a support ticket, because I believe the employees in charge of moderation only look at them, rather than the communities they're tasked with looking over.
I speak of Moderators specifically, because pinging staff is not allowed as per the rules, so I don't consider pinging anyone with an employee role to be an acceptable measure for getting someone's attention, because if it was, why would there be a rule against it.
Not that that seems to work anyway, even if I ping someone from the EA Community Team, because apparently it was not within her hours, despite the fact that she was online at the time.
I am giving you feedback. Take it.
The mods are totally gonna delete it again, how dare you critizise them! This is not allowed on this server. They are perfect and make no mistakes
They get paid to ban/warn you. And delete feedback
Thanks for the clarity on the 'Regular Role' and the fun little teaser for what comes next.
"Bias and bullshit is our goal" seems to be the case. Because I called out BFV's horrid historical censorship numerous times and had no repercussions from it. Maybe it was how you formatted your statements? Phrasing could be key to this. Just my angle on it. There's still a fair bit of bias over all you're not wrong on that.
Regardless of how my statements are formatted, they are my thoughts and I am giving feedback. I am not convinced that the way I am phrasing my thoughts makes it not count as feedback.
^that is true. its called Feedback for a reason
as long its not of the top and overboard. which the feedback isnt
I'm not saying that for certain, just a shot in the dark guess at best really.
Add a command that allows users to message a LFG bot post instead of having to link all three in one post
Any thoughts on bring back the recruitment section?
no clue why they axed it
Can't even run a damned discord server right
I thought this was worked out awhile ago?
It was, but when EA took over, they removed it
Oh, I see. I hadn't paid attention to that since I was barely going into LFG, but I guess there have been some updates I was not tracking.
mods so asleep a guy posts an obvious virus but 1 ½ hours later link is still up
Report the message.
This server really needs mods from EU
This server needs a Batman mod lmao haha
Give us back the recruitment channel, it's neigh impossible to find people to squad with outside of the basically dormant 'lfg psn' channel that barely anyone uses. Or at the very least allow us to talk about our discord servers if it pertains to our battlefield platoons.
It baffles me that EA is so incompetent that the 'official moderators' are so out of touch as to how difficult it is to even maintain contact or get any confirmation we're heard at all with our suggestions, complaints or anything else. The Legacy mods were great because not only were they chill but they also responded to issues and feedback openly and within a timely manner. Why the legacy moderators weren't at the very least rotated out slowly after getting the new ones up to speed is beyond me. Too many eager bevers overcorrecting at every minor turn where such enforcement isn't needed.

The moderation here really does not beat the "Only care about something if it's in a support ticket" allegations, to be honest.
And even if it's in a support ticket, god damn will they sometimes take their time with it.
Why the hell do they need tickets when there's audit bots that log our postings anyways? It's beyond stupid how lazy and unprepared EA's 'moderators' are. You'd stand a better chance of watching fifty eclipses in your lifetime than you'd stand seeing anyone make a smart decision with this server these days.
All the 'feedback' channels for 2042 are closed off, really not selling the whole 'we care about open communication' lie they've been pedaling.
you know our pain and have my respect for being a real one.
@stone arch
@gray geyser got timed out for a week because he forwarded a message from the direct communication channel to the 2042 channel to answer someone's question. Can someone look into this?

I'll forward that.
Hey there, thanks for this. It has been removed and I'll look into how that happened.
- Kev.
The message I attempted to forward was an embedded message and I feel like maybe the server thought I was trying to circumvent the role restrictions or something... which I guess is technically true but wasn't the intention
Again, moderation here not really beating the "Doesn't pay attention to anything unless it's in a Support Ticket" allegations.
Bot just swept through, posted the same shit in every single accessible channel. Getting close to 30 minutes and they're still there.
Like, in a server that has their shit together this would be a non-issue, i'd just ping a mod and boom, they'd be gone.
But there are no mods.
At least not visibly.
Because they're all empty discord accounts that do nothing but wait for support tickets and copypaste three statements before closing them.
half an hour now, they're still here.
In fact, account's been here for 10 days. Never said a thing before now.
Does anyone actually read this stuff, by the way?
Like, anyone who actually makes decisions about the server?
probably not until next bf releases tbh, they took over the server and abandoned it
Someone must've made a ticket, because the messages are gone now.
Still, 40/50 minutes, geez.
Why even have this channel? Doesn't seem like any of the feedback gets taken.
Hell, deleting the feedback seems more likely.
Either that or getting tempbanned for talking.
While i'm yapping, I'll also mention that mentioning the nation that someone lives in is not harassment, and I don't know why it was ever considered reasonable to mute me for 3 days for doing so.
I don't care that my appeal for that was technically accepted, I wanna know why that warranted more severe punishment than several things that i've reported people for.
The moderation here makes no god damn sense is what i'm trying to say and i've said this before but again, it's not like anyone reads this shit.
This server really needs mods*
Or just active ones
Any actual mods at all, really.
I don't consider the current ones that look at the tickets and copypaste statements to count.
some people on server are probably glad there arent more mods. I see some users disrespect and insult others almost on a daily basis and they are still here
WE NEED OUR REAL MODERATORS BACK, DICE AND EA FUCK UP ALL THEY TOUCH!
Didn't mean to make the text that big, but the point still stands.
General shit talking's a two way street the mods understand. But really bad stuff gets mutes, warnings or bans issued.
Yep, just gotta report them.
Thats the only way that'll stop.
A majority, if not all of us, don't want to come back, and I don't blame them. Y'all don't listen anyways. 🤣
Do they read tickets? Tried a few times with something and never heard back
They do, and you get a transcript of the interaction.
I do get the transcripts, but it reads as though a bot closes it after 5 minutes of me opening it
I mean, all they do is just let you know they'll investigate & can't give any more info about what actions they take; the same exact thing we said to everyone as legacy mods.
Thats where if you have more info, you put it in there.
I'm just trying to ask the mods how to get a ripple effect role 🥲
DM t0talfps.
Or one of the community managers
I did a while back, didn't want to double-message
to t0tal I mean, not to any other community managers
Thats fair. I'd probably circle back around again just to check in.
General shit talking's a two way street the mods understand
except for when they don't
OUR mods, not these new kids.
I mean, this hands-off ticket only bullshit's not really effective or working out, if you guys don't wanna come back then that's fine but I feel like they should try to get a different team of actual moderators that actually are a part of the community, because having moderators that are entirely disconnected from it is not beneficial and just serves to make the server actively annoying a lot of the time.
At least you bothered to talk, these new ones are more dead air than a terminal breath.
Also, i ask again, why even have this channel? Nobody who can actually make decisions about the server actually says anything or acknowledges the feedback given.
I've seen more people get tempbanned for talking in here.
Perhaps it's deserved.
Thats how EA wants to handle moderation.
I recognize that's how EA wants to handle it. But I also recognize that it's really easy to act like doing that is a good idea when you never actually interact in the server.
So, I don't care. It still sucks ass, and I'm going to continue saying it's a bad idea.
About warnings, by the way, they don't fucking matter.
Might as well be a slap on the wrist.
Who gives a shit.
Doesn't esculate at all from what I can tell.
Trust me, double message any day. I'm just a very busy lad! 😊
Responded though!
If they offered to me to come back, in the same capacity, I'd do it, because I enjoyed interacting w/ everyone as a mod & didn't mind handling what needed to be handled.
But, to be honest, having a moderation team that doesn't talk in the server w/ the members is the most beneficial form of moderation because there's no bias. It's all unbiased & report based.
But thats my opinion.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
I disagree, I think a moderation team that is disconnected from the community it moderates is less effective than a moderation team that is actually active ahd associated with the community, they are held to higher standards, they can actually be held accountable, and they are motivated to keep the community decent, because they're a part of the same community.
I don't think bias is necessarily a negative thing when it comes to moderation, it's natural when you care about something, especially when you care about keeping a community clean and decent.
How can I trust people who i've never seen speak outside of copypasted statements in private tickets to moderate this place properly? They've already made questionable decisions in the past. They're not exactly quick to deal with issues.
I've literally written a whole ass essay about this.
the same way they're handling the servers that go out like the US' rotting infrastructure every other week?
Can we have a 0 tolerance policy for posting scam links? I reported this guy already a few weeks ago
Clearly these accounts are either just bots or are compromised accounts and have 0 interest in anything related to battlefield.
Remember to rapport it to discord as well
So the link itself will get banned from all servers
Do i have to do that from somewhere else? The report options don't have anything related to what someone posts, only image, name, or status
Right click or long click the post, then rapport
So how does it solve the problem with the discord Server related to weaker moderations, long wait time with tickets, plus an appeal system that doesn't exist
like it's great promoting something but if you don't have the tools for the discord to be moderated well and with long wait times in moderation tickets what's problem is this solving later then getting more people here, you're going to see your flaws with the moderation you haven't fixed
That won't even help because remember they struggled with simple users posting scam link, As it took a while for them to remove it. With them promoting the game more, There will be more users who are going to try to scam people Which means longer wait times for the link to get removed
I have soiled my pants, cleanup on isle 5
I wish
Insane how unprepared the admin/mod team is, who could have seen this chaos coming
Someone should show t0talfps how to run a big discord server
Ask old mods if they would be willing to come back for temporary amount of time for reveal events seems like a smart plan
The problem is what I stated before, all these issues existed with ea ownership before and now it’s showing all the flaws
Or just get some more new ones
I suggest a 3 second limit on chat and any slur temp ban 10 minutes with a bot and the hard er perma ban
Also hire temp volunteer moderators before for a week till order returns
Oh look the same scam I've reported 3 times
Hi, I was told that this channel was for solving matters about regular status retrieval. Now I had left for a bit, but came back today, so I don't know if this affects my case, but I still have an transcript of the ticket that I send in, but was closed immediately without any answer. I can still provide that transcript if you need to see it. Either way, this was my original ticket message:
"Hello there, i had a question about regular status. I've been part of the discord since 2018 or so and gained the regular status the old fashioned way, where it was granted by moderators at the time.
Sadly shortly before mods departures and the moderation handover to EA, i lost it due inactivity and turned back white. I'm not sure how, cause i felt like i was still checking in regularly, but i suppose i didn't chat enough.
Either way, i've noticed a lot of people I've seen and met through the years turned purple, while i remained blue. I assume when a list or some sort was made of regulars on the server, i sadly managed to miss the boat.
So I was wondering if there was a way to re-attain the purple role?
Kind regards,
Jer9-Carver"
Old regs should get their regular role back
Also
if regulars are able to be given out to everyone why can’t we have special names like legacy regulars
Also having regulars back on the list would be nice
I hope you get yours back, you and Lasagna
I vote to sacrifice bmac
Bro why not entice as well, like we're going to sacrifice Bmac anyway
but in serious discord feedback, why not have a sort of way for everyone to get a chance of regular
Total said they'll introduce something like that soon
The question is, when is 'soon'
the old system worked because essentially you have to be active to be able to get it. So why not re add that back or that takes time because now you're having all these issues with the discord because you failed to listen to users feedback on the discord Problems
yeah it tells you what they're focused on
I feel like if you're so focused on the game why not be focused on the discord. look at all these issues showing their ugly heads because you failed to Tackle community issues
Thinking back on it, it also solves the moderation problem, many less people can embed
but alas, EA kept this channel up as a ruse to show they are 'listening'
Wow a band aid solution, It doesn't solve any problem,
tickets will still take a long time
so all they're doing is slowing down chat, without trying to solve the real solution with the moderation team here
Requiring more moderators
plus the long ticket process where they take forever to respond
im moved by this but why hate on bmac hes also one of us fellow regulars. lets be nice. but ye we need a new system of potent bots who can do stuff around here
Admin of United Brotherhood here, is the platoon recruitment channel gone for good? No one uses the BF subreddit(s) for recruiting anymore and groups like mine have to resort to in-game chat to find new players. Would be good to have a place here to recruit for the upcoming release, I remember posting here before for UB a couple years ago :) A forum channel would be the best format so each group can make one thread and keep it organized without having to re-post in a text channel.
well I can say you're not the first person the first person did it when EA took over, That's how much they listen to the feedback on this channel
So who can we get in contact with here to ask what was done to the auto moderation system since yesterday?
The system right now seems to be going a little overboard, earlier I had typed something and got an instant 24 hr time out (although someone apparently reversed that
)
but now it seems @tired kestrel also typed something (about himself no less) and got the same 24 hr instant time out??
This should now be resolved.
Its like walking on landmines now with this new system
(i think thats what he meant by its resolved)
Yeah, the filtering got a little tooooo sensitive and I have been working to reduce that. Timeouts are being removed too.
Appreciate the patience with that 🙂
hope this isnt the wrong place, but i lost my regular role because i left the server on an impuls when i was muted by a bot earlier and rejoined right after (i did respect the timeout and didnt rejoin or type again untill it was over) how would one go about to become a regular again?
i have ADD and have really hard time with impulses sometimes
Not sure why I’m not able to post in community creation clips, streams, etc when I have a role? I’d like to post I stream and do some content creation
sounds like you want to be friends with the mod team to ban others easier
having this server being the center of some sort of reporting war is a scary thought to me
I think that's fair feedback on the response time and we definitely didn't get enough sorted over the last few days to handle the increase. And everybody can have an opion what moderation system works better. No need to argue. Feedback has been provided.
Appreciate the thoughts around this. We will discuss this internally. As it is the official Discord we will continue linking it to drive players in here but we will have to do better in these moments of heavy traffic.
I'd appreciate if you didn't tag me randomly if I'm not active in the chat, thanks.
You still tagged me, did you not?
Refer to this:
it would be cool if someone could adress how to become a regular now that the bots are not around anymore.
If you lost a previous role that will unfortunately stay lost, as we don't use the same systems as before. We're looking to offer a similar system, rewarding users for their activity in here, but we currently don't have any concere information to share.
It's not an easy balance tbh, i am referring to what TotalFPS wrote above about filtering being too sensitive etc and timeouts got removed. I just hope that the system is as fair to everyone as possible, and that users personal opinions on politics etc not affect mod decisions. Hopefully the discord can reach a place where people chill and talk instead of looking for trouble and reporting left and right
Shame to hear that
thank you for your reply
As politics are against the rules on the server they definitely can have an impact on your status in here. Or did I misunderstand what you were trying to say?
You understood me correctly i think, it's just that politics are frequently discussed here, and it always ends up with people reporting eachother. I just hope that regardless of what political stances people have (im not taking sides here) mods take a balanced view and be as objective as possible. So if two users support different sides neither of them should be talking politics. I wouldn't want two people talking about politics, but person A reports person B and person B gets warned. Surely they both did wrong, it's just that person B did not report
Well it's a Battlefield server. Politics are not meant to be discussed here. And just reporting somebody doesn't immediately mean that report is being acted upon, that's also important to keep in mind.
Yes, and agreed
its just numbers
they spammed flags yesterday
better than fake links
yesterdsy was italianfield
hey atleast its not the finals discord where you get banned for everything instantly, so yeah better this than way too hard moderation
also while alot of ea franchises are being severly neglected i feel like they are putting alot into this new bf
its not a maybe, they are making the effort to let the community have proper impact into its Development
which is very good
(generally tho this isnt needed cause they should have enough data of what people like and what they dont but hey, atleast they are trying)
i had a great experience with dice on twitter a few years back
i asked them if they could add night maps to the game, and a few years later they acttually did
we have to see, i need to see more gameplay
its cool its different
ok so
if you dont like sonething, you can hate it, or you can simply not play it, the third option would be to give feedback
worst map fr fr
imagen if they tried something else
I dunno, I enjoyed it
an older account too
@fading mesa is there a location, with provided info and inquiries about the Legacy Mod Team? 🫡
I don't understand your question.
Is there a channel, server description of roles, what is the legacy mod team? Basically. 🙏
@fading mesa
Ahhhh, gotcha. Thanks.
Oh, yeah, like Lycan was mentioning; we're just the former members who were once a part of the mod staff before EA took over.
Poor tom

When are we playing the game?
week or 2 as dice said
2 what
they mean 1 or 2 weeks
i know
Is there anything we know about whether we can create and manage our platoon like we could do in Bf4 and Bf1? It would be epic and really necessary to create teams and be able to play matches, tournaments, leagues and also meet friends and possible additions to the community. Being able to carry the tag and logo on the soldier and the weapon, give personality and more reason and meaning to the battles, fight for your team and represent it... this is vital.
Not the right channel for this.
This channel is for feedback regarding the discord server itself, not the game.
I think server boosters should be aloud to post pics and content. 🤔
There was a time where that was allowed
This was disabled, as we do not want to encourage people to be spending money on something like that for a few simple permissions and it being a 'pay to post' route.
Regulars at the moment, and crews such as FNB, Legacy, Staff etc are the only ones that are able to post imagery.
Ah, ok. That makes sense. Thanks man. 🙏
Is it not possible to turn off boosting entirely?
It is not
(I realized that would be dumb since discord wants money)
Nah let more people be tricked

Not sure if it's already planned. But perhaps advising users to unlink their accounts. Already have some displaying "playing Battlefield Labs" on their profiles. Just fyi. 🫡 Whether they're fake or not.
It's people trolling. EA can restrict the playtest client from showing up on Discord if they want to
you can fake games you play using discord's 'rich presence'
Look it up on YouTube, plenty of guides to do it if you want to mess around with it
Oh Im aware. 🙏
That's not something I'm into.
100%, not very found of users faking the system. It's cringe.
Good and fair point, not recieving communication to read back upon after sign up for Battlefield Labs can and has the potential to continue to fluster and confuse folks and leave them wondering. #1335998561820872824
Hm, yeah, that entire category is hidden by default. I just tried to submit some feedback about channels being hidden by default here. Apparently Discord added a feature where the user has to manually add channels to their channel list, and the default is that it's hiding things like rules, this channel, and a bunch of others.... Like, under Information, I only had #info, #game-news, and #server-news until a link from the Battlefield website took me to #rules, and it presented a button to add that to my channel list.
I've been wondering for a while now where the server rules disappeared to.
It seems to be related to Discord's "suggested channels" and "browse channels" feature. Only once I've found a link to a channel and actually entered it, does it show up in the suggested channels list, and ask if I actually want that channel in my channel list.
Right-clicking on a channel category and selecting "add to channel list" makes the rest of the channels in a group show up. Going into Channels & Roles above the channel list and using Browse Channels also lets you select what you want to see.
Leave it to Discord to break basic features, right?
Lmao
no thanks
Actual feedback time, can we start banning these steam scammers?
Done, it's a inevitability when more attention takes place and always cat and mouse but we're making steps to filter it out more
Hello. I think adding customizable titles to VC channels would help save time for everyone. Seems like most people join randomly instead of looking at LFG channel.
One feedback, I have is adding to the rules that any drug or alcohol references is prohibited as you guys are moderating like that and it isn't common sense to many users even older users as it was not a prohibited to strict before
Can one of those steps be to make a 'moderator' role ping so that way we don't have to manually ping someone who's online
'ping us if you need help, you're now warned for pinging us' the hell is happening to this server
Seriously, I tried to post something like five times and it was all moderated
EA
The moderative team, if you can even call these lazy slack off excuses mods, we got now are ass. No one does anything, the server is dead with ghostlight conversations just echoing endlessly because there's nothing else to talk about anymore.
Oh they do things, sometimes people get a warning for something they said hours ago
And now I'm getting denied postings because despite being a server catering to M rated games that have strong language in them, I'm not allowed to post 'big meanie swear words' what is this, a phyucking daycare?!
Or weeks ago
The state of this server is just in shambles
The EA seal of 'quality'
'mcdonald's bathroom floor gravy certified to give you the gaming experience that'd equate to all three strains of hepatitis at the same time or your money not back'
Okay, enough. This is constantly a recurring thing from certain individuals and it is becoming a little bit silly now. There are #rules in place within this discord, if you're unable to abide by them then that is okay - you simply won't be able to partake within the Discord.
I'd like to think that there has been some leniency shown in many ways when it comes to discussion, that is so that discussion can naturally continue to flow. We've reminded you constantly that if there are any issues taking place within channels then feel free to raise that within the #how-to-report-and-appeal so that the moderation team can actively work on it when they are able to do so.
The section you're in, is for thoughts and suggestions (in a constructive manner) that is not derogatory or constant critique without feedback. Things are constantly changing, we are constantly working to ensure the filtering - which you're referring to - is improving.
That's not the feedback I meant, allow me to rephrase; the lack of direct accessibility to moderation intervention done in a way that's effective and needed is lacking. In other words, the former crew before EA took over were very well trained and tenured in properly dealing with issues as they arose. Now if the same issue were to arise, the pointless overcomplication of a support desk ticket instead of a role that'd be pingable and any moderator currently online could get a notification from would be able to see what the ping is about and thus pick up the issue and assess it from there. Thus far since EA's direct take over, there's been a nonstop string of overreach, overreaction due to misunderstanding AND worse still lack of any real changes made to ensure the new moderative team is 'up to snuff'. It's been months and little to nothing at all has seen inprovement.
In other words, having a '@ moderator' role that'd be pingable would make response time to issues as they arose MUCH more streamlined and efficient and that way any moderator online would be able to just respond more directly rather than through the support desk, which is rather useless since we don't have image permissions and instead would need to describe the issue in detail instead of just sending a screenshot or something.
That is just not something that will take place at this time, the moderation team is on call to do a certain thing and they will work towards certain processes and systems in place. Everyone else is seemingly being able to raise a ticket and get a resolution, this is tracked it allows for a history of things to take place, and for reference to take place thereafter at a later point.
You do keep referencing the fact that volunteers were able to do things better, and again, this is because it is on free time and is very much up to the whims of that person. The difference here is that there are processes, escalations and tracking for what is taking place. To suggest things have not improved since the change and the early issues that were flagged is a matter of opinion, but reactivity and response to the issues has improved.
So again, I would say at this moment in time - enough with this, and if you'd like to offer up any other suggestions that you would like to see in the discord - by all means ping me.
With that said, enjoy your weekend and some videogames - afterall, that is what we are here for.
Actually yes, I've a suggestion unrelated to the previous conversation
Fire it up!
Instead of battlefield labs, why not just have a proper community feedback system in this server. There's always a third party niche system on some webite no one knows about really. Why not just double down on this server being centralised as the main Battlefield hub. there's a community feedback forum already in place, a proper overhaul is all that's needed to really get it in order to where the developers could actually talk with us for direct feedback and/or suggestions.
Good question:
I'm sure there's plenty of others out there who've fun ideas but at the same time they probably don't want to sign onto a 'lottery' of 'will I get picked to give feedback' it feels like they're just doing that to only have 'yesmen' they can cherrypick
The BF labs is a good concept but pointlessly overcomplicated, why not just make it a CTE thing, but instead of just one game, it'd be a free communal playground where we'd get to see the devbuild stages of all the older games' maps. Sort of like a machine museum so we could explore not only the lineage of the older games but also get the options to playtest them so we ourselves as the players could choose to see first hand what does and doesn't work and from there vote for what'd be added in the next game off of the basis of what came before.
If they want the best possible feedback, a CTE survey that's free where it'd basically be a 1:1 port of the original games' mechanics, maps, weapons, gadgets and so on where we'd get to expereince them as a tech demo of sorts. Portal could've been exactly that had there been more effort put into it.
I cannot go into too much detail at the moment, but I will talk about the grander plan for this Discord. As you know, we took the reigns to turn it into an official discord - that's something we had wanted to do for a while, make it truly official.
That now allows us to support it as much as we want and put the full power of our Battlefield Studios and the plans behind it, and you're seeing us support it already by putting it front and center on the Battlefield site, you're seeing Byron talk about the discord on the recent Battlefield Labs video. There are big plans to be using this Discord as the central community hub for all things Battlefield - that involves feedback, developer chats, blogs and more. Not everything is going to happen in a flash however, and things will unfold more over time, but the priority will be here - that's for sure.
I think with Battlefield 2042 you also saw me testing out #1077689769246593044, all of that is with the intent of building upon that for the next game. I and many within the community team are quite big on feedback, but also action out of that feedback, and I am quite big on simply chatting things through with the players. We'll be doing just that, but give us a bit of time.
We took ownership a few months ago, because we are building out that stuff in advance 🙂
Battlefield Labs is however its own thing, it's a community collaboration environment that will be under an NDA. It has it's own purpose, and that is simply the way of it.
Does that mean surveying, feedback, discussion, announcements, events, giveaways don't happen here? No. So again, stay tuned.
Obviously you can't drive across an overpass with it being just the struts and girders, it needs to be built up first before you take a semi over it. I'm by no means in any hurry, if anything I'd rather y'all take all the time needed to get it right from the start. I've been playing Battlefield since I first rented BC1 from Blockbuster (Yes I'm kind, I rewind) and I'd love nothing more than to help in any way possible to ensure that whatever comes next is not only its own new thing that tries out new ideas but at the same time maintains the core 'battlefield' expectations and experience. Whatever ideas or insight I can give to help make the best product possible you damned well better beleive I'll do my part.
And that's what we want and need, because it is about doing a lot of this stuff alongside you. That's the only way I know. 🙂
Stay tuned.
Okay, Alistair
(get it, because that's what he said in the Hazbin Hotel pilot)
(I'm hip with the kids, right? I'm not a square I swear!)
You've had a hip replacement, cause that's more hip than me. I ain't watched Hazbin Hotel! 😁
Time for the weekend though, enjoy it and get some games played!
@cinder elk Good morning I was wondering, since this is the official Battlefield Discord can we have 2 channels added. 1. Easter Egg channel - it would be nice to have actual official Battlefield mods run this channel on this server. This would be great for any or if any new Easter Eggs still come out 2042 and of course the new Battlefield game. I'm sure the Devs appreciate that the players love hunt/find the work they put into creating on their spare time. 2. Lore channel - there is a huge amount of loyal players like myself playing Battlefield
Games for 17 years love all the lore of the series. Especially right now with 2042 and it connection to other previous games in the series. Just a thought since this is the official Battlefield Discord I think it's important to have these channels. Trying to bring positive creative ideas 💡 to make this Discord successful especially with reminder of 2042 left and the new Battlefield game coming. Everything needs to be connected here.
I personally feel the BFEE should reign supreme when it comes to EE's. As you already know Will. 😜🙏
Isn't that server dead and really pompus though?
Why is the bot so aggressive against cursed words
Why is cursing no longer allowed, how am I suppose to call a bad professor, a donkeys hole without being censored
Keep it friendly and positive.
I want a better reason
call him a what

so it's understandable that external emojis(from other servers) have been switched off because of bad actors but surely it can be allowed for regulars since there's significantly less of us compared to the blues?

I need my 300 pepe emojis and kekw emoji bro
But still, it seems like a mistake for it to be added to the filter
It's genuinely an overreaction to remove emojis from boosters and regulars.
Clamping down on people expressing themselves is not the move
I don't believe so.
Heard that it was more pious and gatekeepish
wait they did that?
no thanks
yeah, it seems like everytime i check this discord, there is another scammer
a few every day
any mod to delete this? '-'
Is there a way to lock down the server to someone until they click a "Im not a bot" button?
so on the off chance an old account here gets hijacked once again they cant spam the channels
It's impossible to, it's a side effect of offering a free community-focused socialising app
I don't remember how each of the messages was worded exactly but they all deal with some sort of "50$ gift" and usually have a different link each time since those can be dealt with. I would suggest just prohibiting the phrase "50$ gift -" and see if they still come through with different versions or something
yeah some AI filter from discords side should be able to handle it
There are like 20 actual legit messages in the whole server using that phrase so I really don't see it becoming an issue with anyone who would use it in a normal way
dont they usually use the same website link?
The most recent was different
I reported one in January and it had a different link but still said "50$ gift -"
As a member of cursed cat appreciation, I ask for you to add the new bfd emoji as cursed_glorb
i can second this
we want that emoji
also i dont think total knew, now hes gonna know
about the thread and all
Oh I am aware, don't worry 🤣🤣
see what you did
Please keep the labs channel open if possible. I assume that once testing starts it’ll become a private one for people actually testing, but having a dedicated channel to have genuine discussions about the next game just for fun should stick around
will this promised eventual overhaul to the regular system also allow for them to use emoji from outside the server?
That channel will not be used for the test under NDA and will stay open for general Labs discussions!
We'll have a look but my prediction is that we likely won't allow external emojis for a while, even with a new system implemented. That being said, we all have emojis we like to use and we'll see what we can do to 1. get more emojis here that are Battlefield themed but can hopefully fill some of the void that missing emojis cause, and 2. reevaluate what privileges certain ranks will offer and this could be something for long time members in good standing. Definitely on our feedback list now, thanks for sharing!
I got a response no way
But yeah I'm just happy you're listening, thanks for the clarification

yay!
Can we also propose emojis to also fill the void so the community can have some involvement with what emojis should be added
Atleast one single kek emote
I concur
EA your BF4 servers keep going down just to lyk.
This new BF need:
-Management Section Platoon with tag in soldiers.
-5 or 6 players in squad
-Server Browser
-120hz server tickrate
-squad improvements like in Bf3
-urban maps than Azzadi Palace, Bazar, gulf of oman, karkand, damavand peak..
-level progression system like in Bf3
-end of round statistics like in Bf1
sir this is the discord feedback channel
Feedback... feedback is this right?
Not game feedback
And what is the feedback section for the game?
There isn't one
,,Share your thoughts and suggestions about the Battlefield Discord within this area!´´
You, uh, could use #battlefield-labs-discussion
Probably best spot for it.
Can we just block the phrase "50$ gift" from the server, every time it's said is the same scam and different links
its blocked for me already. i think discord did something
dont worry the team is already ,,investigating´´
im sick of reporting them at this point
feels like the mods do their copy&paste reply and just go and do something else
someone else will surely handle it
We want to rent an operation server, can you give us information?
Can a mod please look at why @scarlet shuttle is muted for a week for some random comment? no vulgarity nothing he's just muted
Kato should dm the legacy mods, they handled things like this before
If they're muted... it's best to read the message why, and then not make the same mistake again

blocked for spam or sus activity, told to contact modmail, but there is no way to contact mod mail
Don't you do that through #how-to-report-and-appeal
yeah i had no message perms throughout the entire server
I don't think he meant that kind of 'grill'
Don't you dare make a Battle Royale or I will pray to the gods of fleas to infest the armpits of its creator!!
h
h

Oh God
can we add #battlefield-labs-news #1335997362258186292 #battlefield-labs-discussion to the channel list on #info
Can we add a #FANART channel in the #screenshots-and-clips #streams-and-videos place so people can show there art to you DICE
#screenshots-and-clips was originally a place meant for cinematic photos and art, it was renamed to it’s current name and is now in the state you can see
Oh
It was a beautiful place my boy. We even had a starboard meant for photos people found to be particularly nice
I know, it was beautiful seeing a ton of shitpost memes that the community voted to preserve
I hope they add it back, one day
Lol, lmao even
are we talking about the starboard? im all for it aswell
Yeah i’d like the starboard back
deco gave a likely explanation here a few weeks ago for why they removed it and why it likely(understandibly) may never come back
