If you notice any inappropriate behavior or content in The Battlefield server, follow the steps in our ⁠#how-to-report-and-appeal channel or via the EA Help article to learn how to report players. If you see inappropriate content, please report it to EA or to Discord. Serious violations should be reported to Discord. Reports to EA will be processed in accordance with EA's Privacy & Cookie Policy. EA may forward reports of violations to Discord. Discord Community Guidelines apply to content posted here.

RULES

Respect each other and the staff/mods. Be nice.
Keep it friendly and positive.
No real-world political or religious discussions.
Do not discuss, promote or share hacks or cheats, and do not discuss or share unauthorized game mods.
No advertising. You may promote your game content (YT, IG, TikTok) on appropriate channels, but no selling. Do not drive users to other servers or promote unauthorized game sellers, in-game currency sellers or account sellers.
No mute/ban evasion. If you were muted/banned on a previous Discord account and are circumventing that ban, all accounts will be permanently banned and reported to Discord. Appeal properly if mute/ban is appealable.
No tagging staff. This includes role tagging and directly mentioning staff, admin, CM, or Mod names to ping them. Tagging Developers, unless they are active in chat, is not allowed.
The language of the server is English and we ask you to only post messages in English. Exceptions will be made during Friday Night Battlefield events in the appropriate channels.
The following is not tolerated and will result in your removal from the server and will be reported to Discord: Violence or Threats, Extremism/Terror, Serious Inappropriate Content or Conduct – Explicit or Directed to Children, Other Illegal Content, and Doxxing/Swatting.

Please help to keep the experience fun for everyone. Specifically, the following conduct and/or content may result in a warning, muting, time-out, suspension, or removal from the server:

NSFW content
Spamming/trolling
Offensive or impersonation nicknames/bios - we may change a nickname directly and you may be asked to update a bio.
Story spoilers - No game spoilers. For previous titles, please only share spoilers in marked spoiler-friendly channels.
Leaks - The sharing and discussion of leaked information will be closely monitored. There is to be no discussion of leaks that are circulating in small groups, feel like hearsay, and/or don't match known information well as no downloading/direct sharing of game footage. Players can however discuss leaks that are seen as widely available or have been covered by mainstream media sources, but this is entirely at the moderator/staff team’s discretion.
Cheats, hacks, exploits, piracy etc.
Recruitment for other servers/communities without prior approval
We allow limited sharing of embedded images (jpg/png/gif) and video files (mp4/avi/webm) which can be viewed within the Discord app. For the security of others, you should not upload other types of attachments to messages including any files which must be downloaded to view them (exe/bat/wmv/flv etc.)
Failing to comply with direction from Community Managers or mods. Moderation decisions are final.
These rules are not comprehensive, but are the guidelines of the server. Usage of loopholes or skirting the edge to violate the purpose of these rules will result in enforcement. Moderators/Staff have final say on enforcing the rules, and failing to follow Moderator direction will result in action.
