You can load the same save between but the progress stays the same, so if you progress on sp you've progressed on the save

hey so me and my friend had been playing a co-op via steam remote play for a while, but recently they bought the game themself. Even though I was hosting, they didn't have a controller so I had to be the second player. Whenever I went to host again, i realized our character were switched because of it. I went into the game files to swap the character data around (which worked) but somehow that disabled minecarts. does anyone know what we can do to fix it, if possible?

@tiny jetty Saves on consoles cannot be transferred to other consoles, PC, or mobile. The consoles don't allow access to them so you can't grab them and move them. Consoles of the same type (xbox > xbox, playstation > playstation, switch > switch) will transfer through cloud saves.

Hey, i bought Stardew Valley yesterday and it run perfectly. Today i wanted to play it again, i opened it and after some time, like 20 seconds, my fps suddently drop from 60 to 1 and the audio starts to stutter. I tried verifiying files, reinstalling, changing priority and affinity... But nothing works, everytime i try to play on my save that happens and waiting doesn't solve nothing. Also, my PC meets the requirements to handle it.

Well, it's kind of a rude answer but it's ultimately inevitable with mobile, as the years go on and you get more and more stuff on your farm that's just more stuff being constantly loaded and well it's mobile. It's not really known for the smoothest experience ;P

Yeah yeah I know SDVpufferlurk But realistically there isn't much else I can tell you. I could say get a better phone/get a console pc but that helps none ;P Mobile also really isn't really in the best state right now, I mean it works but it's a buggy mess. Hopefully when 1.5 finally comes out for mobile it will be much better in terms of lag too and probably a bit worse with all the new stuff

Hi, having some problems on MacOS/Steam. When attempting to launch, I get the following error. Did some looking at previous posts on the forums and discord but didn’t see any others.

Has anyone encountered a bug with playing on multiplayer? When my wife and I play together she is the host and occasionally my game will lag out or boot me with a message that says "The server has closed the connection". I've restarted my router, restarted the computer and i just now re installed the game hoping this fixes it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We're playing on PC/steam.

hello, i really really require help with this as this problem has been persistent for MONTHS.

i cannot play co-op with my friends. they're stuck infinitely on the black loading screen if I'm hosting, or I'm stuck if I'm a farmhand. i have tried everything, switching from SMAPI to vanilla, uninstalling Stardew, uninstalling Steam, even using Hamachi. nothing has worked.

I'm able to play on my own just fine tho. what do I do? :(

I'm clicking through it over and over and over again, and it's not exactly hard. At some point they disappear, but then the register page just reloads again and I need to fill in the details again (name, email, password, plus the idiotic captcha excercise AGAIN).

No, I'm on a 100mbit connection. The captchas comes up with new images very quickly and just keeps going. Then after a while it seems to go through, or maybe not, and I'm back at the register page and need to fill in username etc again. Then back to captcha. I'm at a loss here

Hello! I am having some issues with starting a local coop and was wondering if anyone can help me with it. I have created a coop game that my friend didn't have any issues joining initially. However, when I try to start a local coop for them to join again, I am unable to do so as I do not own a controller. I have unchecked the box for controller-style menu, and have placed my character to bed so that the changes are saved. However, when I try to start a local coop, the buttons I am asked to press belongs to a controller. Is there any way for me to fix this?

Im having some trouble with the dark talisman quest, I've played the cutscene to initiate it, but I didn't get the quest. Hey guys! I'm playing on the Deck and have noticed an issue - if I pause the game or let the steam deck sleep, when I come back the cursor icon is active and will not go away. This causes issues with the controls when using a controller because the sprite wants to point in the direction of the now on screen cursor.

so im trying to help a friend migrate to 64bit. but when she tries to migrate, her game wont launch. we've validated the integrity of the files, and nothing seems to be out of place. should i have her reinstall stardew entirely?

she has to use compatibility mode for an unknown reason. her computer should be more than capable of running 64bit, but when she tries to launch the game in 64bit, it just doesnt launch. steam will say its launching and then bring her directly back to the play screen

i recently got stardew on pc and ive been having a lot of issues with framedrops and constant freezing every other minute, i know it isnt my hardware causing the issue as i have a pretty decent pc which is more than capable of running stardew at a high framerate. I am trying to play SDV on Steam with a controller. I connect a Pro Controller via Bluetooth and Steam navigates fine and SDV works fine. However when I connect an xbox 360 controller to the PC, Steam sees it and navigates fine but SDV just doesn't see it at all. Anyone gotten an xbox 360 controller to work via Steam?

Thanks. It was actually a windows setting. I had another device called "vJoy" that Windows had as default. Steam worked but SDV was trying to use default.

Crossplay is not currently possible and may never be possible on Stardew Valley. According to ConcernedApe the technical barriers are very high. And he would like to add it and may eventually look into it but as of now it is not possible.

hey! i need some support & while i am using mods, i don't think the mods have anything to do with my issue.

anyways, my friends & i have a co op world. i switched the hosts from one friend to myself & it was working just fine until everyones inventory just wouldnt open & then i quit the game

Hi, my daughter connected her blutooth headphones to my computer last night and now they have disconnected, but SDV has no sound coming out of it at all.
