How difficult is it to min/max the different specs throughout a raid tier? I am late CE 2 day raider with minimal reclears. I feel like if I play rogue for a tier, I would be pigeon holed into one spec since gearing for another would be difficult.

in their current design, you won't really be pigeon-holed into certain specs because of gear

outlaw is the only one that needs super specific setups

with the hast requirements

but sin doesn't really care about secondaries

sub does to a certain extent, but if you end up gearing for sub/outlaw, you'll be able to play sin without too much hastle

Sims are just that. If you wanna play sub, then play sub. You may do more dmg if you are a better sub player than assas. But if ur reasoning is simply sims it's a poor take. Sims don't account for mechanics, adds, downtime, they also don't account for skill. There are absolute shit assas rogues and monster sub rogues. And shit sub rogues and God tier outlaw rogues. Play whatever u want and see what u enjoy and perform best at. But Sims don't mean shit if you don't know how to utilize the info they give you.

Unsure if they fill faster with more masks. But they’re essentially some of the original abilities from the first time visions were released. The big one being Elite Extermination which gives sanity on killing an elite.

They probably spawn near the group. But sometimes even if we all are together the outliers appear as if to mock us

you don't need to do the neutral vendor or the river monster. Probably not the special events (bear etc) either but I did them anyhow to be safe. Be careful in old town - there are mobs which are easy to miss. There is plenty of time so it's fine to play it super safe

Thanks to indiscriminate carnage, when you leave stealth you have a window where your garrote/rupture will spread to 3 targets (your target + 2 targets) and always prioritizes targets not dotted

you likely won't encounter issues with the deathstalker (singular focus) stealth break/combat bug in pve

that's mostly an issue in pvp

it would require at least 2 mobs to still be alive, one with deathstalker's mark applied and one with a bleed applied, for damage to continue ticking into singular focus locking you in combat. it is very likely not this you are encountering if you are talking about pve.

yeah for sure, I am a death stalker rogue and I was farming some pick pocketing items. I couldnt walk anymore from 5-10 steps without just randomly coming out of stealth. I changed specs and took all my armor off and it was still happening.

I changed locations on where I was farming and no matter where I went and what I did the exit of stealth was completely random, no keys being pressed, disabled all addons, and again took off all armor and weapons and it still would happen at random

if you are playing trickster, it doesnt last 1 h till you activate it, by activate it i mean hitting a mob within the 30s window

Yeah, it's the most recent area and doing the quests there can give you some starting gear as well as a crafting crest, so it's worth doing

Many WA packs have a feint aura

just showing a basic aura for when you have it, right? that's all it sounds like you want

so it can be centered and not have to look at your top right

If that's the case it's entirely a default basic WA, you can use aura templates to do it (when you click new aura in the window, there's an option to select from some templates)

From there the menues are pretty self explanatory without you needing to actually go into the configurations

If you are having trouble figuring it out from there come back and we can walk through it, it'd be a very basic aura

Go to the spec channel of your choice (I see you're a yellow name so I assume outlaw) and type !wa for discord packs

Each spec channel has a curated set of packs it recommends

Good afternoon everyone. I play assa rogue in a mythic prog guild and play lots of M+. I have only ever played assa and know if I want to be able to take my next stepps towards a top 100 guild, I will need to learn the other two specs. My question is which other spec should I learn first, Outlaw or Sub? Also, learning it, should I start gearing it on my current assa main or another one of my lvl 80 rogues and start with fresh gear?

Yeah, that's what I did. Just used the premade, stretched the icon a bit over my character so I can see it counting down and whether I'm protected by it or not.

It is almost always bad for prog and due to the way crafting works currently if you craft a mainhand for outlaw early you would have to sac your 2nd spark to also craft for assa/sub

They both use daggers and similar trinkets (hoc, no signet) so it's mostly fine to use the same character, maybe craft a neck/ring if you have extra sparks

sub does care about secondaries more but crit/mast are still about equal with hoc and high ilvl

pick up a bit of vers and you're good

Kidney shot being 8s is nice but its a pure ST stun so very situational, aoe blind is good, crippling is good and atrophic is pretty good too

I mean outlaw isn’t made to be huge burst or mega aoe. It’s just very consistent and if played well it can still do well because you don’t have the troughs the specs reliant on cds do.

Im kinda stuck rn, can't decide which spec to chose. I played outlaw and assa, both at 16-17s and both feels good, tending a bit more for assa.
Currently im pushing 18s with my team, and the comp is war tank monk heal, feral and mm. Which spec would be the "better" one ? I really love both

• Outlaw;
• Subtetly.

But you could try Sub and then assa, and think Sub is easier, so it's subjective
