I have this problem every mid season, and people don’t believe me when I tell them people just aren’t applying (which makes it even more frustrating that I’m not getting picked up for 10s). Outlaw is theoretically the highest dps in keys of the 3, but sub and assa are both not far off. Assa has very good prio damage and has the ability to funnel, but has the worst single target of the 3. Sub has the best single target of the 3, but has the lowest prio. Outlaw shines in lower target counts, and has solid single target, and prio, and is arguably the most balanced of the 3, but it can’t do damage past 8 targets

I'd say it's more that guilds are not likely to stack multiple rogues compared to say mages or warlocks or something like that

hm guess my problem is im in a guild that is struggling with drakes cause people put in low effort and dont show up and im afraid joining another 4/9 or 5/9 guild would be high chance of having similar issues, so i would have to gamble and join a guild that is 6/9 or higher and i dont really see them taking a random 4/9 rogue that just joined back for midnight, i have decent logs but could use some practice soe being benched on a lets say 7/9 guild would suck

unless the guild has zero rogues and is looking to check that raid buff box, getting benched is kind of par for the course if you're new and they're deep in prog still

youre overestimating some of those guilds, this tiers curve is pretty funny, a guild that got 8/9m lets say this week is closer to your prog than they are to killing lura for example

wr 1500-2500 type guilds have tons of inconsistent attendance so if you find one the big thing is just showing up and knowing the fights even if you're not in every night

well the reality in wow is the stable guilds usually dont recruit mid tier, its a thing for after prog is done

ofc you can always find a good guild but if theyre a few hundred pulls in on lura for example youre probably not getting subbed in

yeah that's what I was getting at. your best bet is finding a guild whose wr is improving over time, join as a backup/farm guy, and hope to be in for prog next tier

Guys can any pro ass rogue give some tips, I think I am doing my rotations perfectly my ilvl is 265 yet I constantly get told I deal low dps hovering around 45k when on garrote +rupture and jumping to 80k with kingsbane on 50 and deathsmark. I have watched every youtube video on the matter. I played Deathstalker in the beginning but switched to fatebound which I find does more damage and is less stressful overall.
