is it just me or does firefly model 2 hardly if at all consider the details of a prompt?

i tell it to have a cosmic horse made of stars in the picture yet i always get a generic hose

you can use Firefly on its on in the webapp or on mobile and then head over with the results if you want. you also can use Firefly and send the results over directly to Adobe Express and do little touchups, share on social media, etc. as you wish.

Hello, I am trying to use my iPhone to subtract objects from my photo but when I select “subtract” - I cannot select anything. When I click add I can select items. Any idea why I cannot select objects to remove?

add and subtract actually relate to the brushes, so add will add to your selection with the brush, subtract will remove with the brush, bringing back parts of your original image, its a bit confusing. If you want to remove something, you can use "remove" on the far left @little saffron does that make sense?

yes, because subtract does the opposite of selecting, it erases your selection and brings back your original image, add and subtract are brushes for selecting, so if you're using "subtract" as a brush over your image, you won't actually see anything happening, if you paint over an area you've selected with the "add" brush" you'll see how it works @little saffron

You're welcome. I believe its only one image right now. That might change in the future. There is a feature under development that will allow more "personalization" of the generated images. That seems to imply that you'll be able to upload a "data set" of sorts. However, I have no information about when that feature will be available. Stay tuned!

Seeking help😭 I can't get Adobe Firefly to display a dialog box for typing when I open a web page. I've tried clearing cookies, refreshing the web page, and logging out, but it's still not working.
Is it normal to have a large blank space at the top of the webpage?

When you open https://firefly.adobe.com/ you should see a normal webpage with different options to choose from. Then when you use e.g. "Text to Image" you get a colorfull Page and at the bottom you got your Prompt Input field. When Firefly is generating an Image Set it may seem like its blank, but after some seconds the Images should appear. What Browser do you use?

you can do that on your own in Firefly. Do it like leonard said and use that Logo as a Reference Image. That changes the Logo style slightly as you whish.

Rendering coherent text within a text-to-image prompting workflow is a tough problem to solve. It will get better over time.

There are a few projects that do a decent job of rendering text (based on a text prompt). However, all are still hit or miss. The best way to add text continues to be using a "compositing" workflow. Like adding the text with Photoshop, Illustrator or Adobe Express.

That said, if you're really diligent about the process, you can get it to work. (Shorter words are somewhat easier) :)

Cute prompt! It may help by splitting "bullterrier..." into two words - i.e., "bull terrier." If that doesn't seem to help, if you're not too attached to the reference image being used - it may be helpful to find a new image to reference, or just have fun with building out the prompt itself. I have used different browsers, different accounts it is still the same result. The only thing that works if I use a VPN and change my location to USA.

Does anyone have resources for learning to give good prompts?
For more context, I'm looking to leverage the new text-to-vector feature in Illustrator for all the 'quick' logos my team gets asked to create. However, I'm having a hard time getting it past the obvious (and overused) icons for the concepts I'm feeding it.

I tend to be concise with my wording, giving it a clear sense of what I want. Since I was not a part of beta for text-to-vector am, too, finding my way to incorporate it to my workflow. As previously been a topic when generative fill got integrated to Photoshop, sometimes you just won't use A.I. but working through manually. As in illustrator you wouldn't be using A.I. to generate circle, as there are prebuilt tool for that. And to answer the original question, no there is no manual. Feature is relatively new so you may expect seeing more and more content about it as we go

Lets say for example you have erased the cr from your AI Image, want to load it for selling or using as NFT or whatever. BUT there will be at some point someone who asks for your legallity and THEN you can very hardly proof that that image would not be generated without any kind of signature.

The link that was shared isn't to a terms and conditions page, it explains how generative credits will work depending on your plan type, and when genereative credits will come into play, not until november 1st for paid subscribers. As a paid subscriber, you get a certain number of credits that reset each month depending on your plan, and after that you will continue to be able to generate as much as you want, albeit at a slower speed. It's much easier to share the link that contains all of that information, which is kept up to date if there do happen to be changes, than for the moderators to have to type it out every single time the question comes up.

also looking at the web UI of Firefly, it combines the ease of use with a lot of customization options

and on top of that the very strong case of seamless integration within the Adobe ecosystem

plus you are safe to use what you generate since you wont have to fear to get into the copyright infringement

for you and me the last one may sound less important, but for companies and those that are already in the business this is a big point

I’m having problems with a prompt. I’m trying to get a photo image of a 16-year-old male whose back is to the camera. All we see is the back of his head, his back, back of legs. I’m guessing I used 100 credits yesterday working on this. I tried “back to camera” “face not seen” “facing away from the camera” and about every other possibility I could think of. It gave me ONE image like I was looking for but the figure was not correct. If I had his back, it gave me his face looking around toward the camera, or just facing front. Any suggestions?

depending on the words the less you use the more will any AI use them. Also the more Prompts will use Logodesign in it the more AIs will trained on that. Its only a matter of time if that is getting better and better. So my tip is to generate stuff and when its not as you like us the "Report" button and write in the note what you wanted the Image to be. With those Infos the Developers can add more and better alorithms.

Then there are several Adobe Apps like Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator where Firefly as kind of mudule is build in. So yes we all use Firefly now. The Generative Fill is maybe also coming to some apps. Look into the #announcements

This engine doesn't need as many characters as some because you can set a lot of the lighting and style through the various settings. I've still found some of my more complex prompts from other engines are too long to use here though.
