We’ve launched Recolor Vector on firefly.adobe.com

Capabilities include:

• Start by uploading a sample asset SVG file, or using a prompt from the Firefly website
• Describe, with everyday language, a color palette and instantly apply it to vector images
• Try variations of the result by shuffling colors within an image or by applying pre-set color harmonies to a base color

With Recolor Vectors powered by Adobe Firefly you can use everyday language to generate and apply extraordinary color themes and palettes to vector images.

-Save time on re-coloring images. Instead of re-coloring each element of an image, use words to describe a desired theme or palette and see it brought to life instantly

😍 Favorites page to save ❤️ your favorite images.
🗒️ There are several known limitations to this new feature:

1. Favorites will be saved to the local browser and is not connected to an individual's CC Library yet.
2. Favorites will not persist when switching to a different browser or using an incognito browser
3. Only works for Text to Image and Text Effect modules
4. Using "Use as reference image" or "Show similar" on a favorited image is not optimized yet
5. If logged out, once signing back in, you will need to refresh the Favorites page to see your favorites

We owe this community a special thanks for experimenting with Firefly during the Beta period and sharing your ideas and feedback with us. Over 2 billion images were generated in Beta following the March 2023 launch​ and you all were a huge part of that!

So what does this mean for Firefly? Here are a few key points:

• Generative AI features powered by Firefly are now available in our core creative tools and the standalone Firefly web app (firefly.adobe.com)

• Work generated using Adobe Firefly is now available for commercial use

• We have updated our plans to include a monthly allocation of “generative credits.”, which allows any Adobe customer to leverage generative AI and unlock creative possibilities. Generative credits provide priority processing of generative AI content across features powered by Firefly in Adobe applications. The number of generative credits you have depends on your plan.

Previously, we communicated that credit limits for Creative Cloud customers with paid subscriptions would be starting on November 1, 2023. Please disregard this. For a limited time, Creative Cloud, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, and Adobe Stock paid subscribers won't be subject to generative credit limits. Free users without a paid subscription will continue to be subject to generative credit limits. Check back here after January 1, 2024, to learn when credit limits will apply for subscribers.

🗒️ Additionally, to give you an idea of what your credit usage will look like once limits apply in 2024, we've launched a new counter for paid CC users. Hello all! Exciting news today: the Adobe Firefly Video Model is now live on firefly.adobe.com. This launch marks a significant milestone, bringing generative video capabilities to the platform.

As with other Firefly models, the new video and audio models are commercially safe and can be used for work, play, or any content delivery needs.

Here are the four video/audio offerings available today:

• Text to Video: Create 1080p video (5 seconds in duration) using natural language prompts. Import start and end keyframes to direct motion or movement. Multiple shot size and camera angle options, along with camera motion presets, provide more creative control. Longer prompts can also guide direction.

• Image to Video: Start with an image (photo, drawing, or a reference image generated from Firefly) and generate video. All attributes of Text to Video apply. Both T2V and I2V support 16:9 widescreen and 9:16 vertical generation. Experimenting with generating b-roll and visual effects from static references has yielded impressive results.

• Translate Video & Translate Audio: Using the new Firefly Voice Model, translate content (5 seconds to 10 minutes in duration) into more than 20 languages. Lip sync functionality is currently available only to Enterprise customers, with updates on that coming soon.

Feedback is highly encouraged! Share thoughts on the model, workflows with generative content, current options in Generate Video, different models, technical specs, and limitations. What content worked? What didn’t? What looked great? What was just ‘ok’? Each model has its own specialty, and it’s exciting to see what everyone discovers.

We're excited to announce that Generate Video is graduating from a limited beta! Powered by Adobe Firefly Video Model, this feature will continue to let you generate commercially safe video clips with the ease of generative AI—from creating b-roll to fill gaps, adding new elements to shots, and bringing your creative visions to life.

As we transition to public beta, Generate Video will become a premium feature available on our Firefly plans, effective 2/12/2025. Here's what this means for you:

• If you're on our Creative Cloud plans for individuals or teams, you will receive complimentary generations or you can add Firefly Standard or Firefly Pro to keep creating amazing videos and translate both video and audio.
• If you’re using Creative Cloud for enterprise provided by your organization, you’ll be able to continue accessing the Video Model provided that your organization is on an enterprise plan that provides access to audio, voice and video generation. If you have any challenges, please contact your IT Administrator for assistance.

To continue using Generate Video:

• Log into your account
• Select "Video" in the prompt bar menu or scroll below to find Text to Video or Image to Video.

Part of our journey with Firefly is that we want to make tools and features that are important and work for you. We’re always looking for ways to make Firefly better, and we can only do that in partnership with our community of passionate creators and designers.

Today, we want to discuss Generation History—our way to automatically save and revisit all your past AI generations. We want your input! How do you use Generation History? What improvements would make it even more useful?

We thought a survey would be a great way for you to directly influence how we refine this feature, and ensure it fits your creative workflow.

Hi all! Today we’re announcing updates to our Creative Cloud offerings for our North American users. We’ve heard loud and clear from the community that you want more control over how you use Creative Cloud—especially when it comes to new tools like generative AI and mobile/web platforms. Some really want to explore new AI-powered tools, while others prefer to keep things more traditional. To better match what you’ve been asking for, Adobe is introducing two new plan options:

• Creative Cloud Pro (renamed from Creative Cloud All Apps) is for creators who want full access to our most advanced generative AI, web, and mobile tools. It has unlimited access to standard generative features and 4,000 monthly credits for premium features (like text-to-video, audio translation etc), for $69.99/month under the annual, billed-monthly plan ($10 more per month).
• Creative Cloud Standard is a streamlined option for those who just need the essential desktop experience. It offers 25 monthly credits to trial standard generative features, no access to premium generative AI features, and limited access to web and mobile apps, for $54.99/month under the annual, billed-monthly plan ($5 less per month).

🌎 🗓️ When and where will these updates go into effect?
These updates are only happening in North America for now. You will have time to consider which plan you want and will receive notice before the new pricing takes effect. The new plans will roll out as follows:

• On May 15, 2025, if you're already a Creative Cloud All Apps subscriber, you'll get early access to try out the new Creative Cloud Pro—with unlimited standard generations and 4,000 credits per month to use on premium generations, such as Text to Video, or Text to Sound effects in Firefly.
• On June 17, the plan will officially be renamed Creative Cloud Pro in your account.
• 30 days before your next renewal, you'll get an email letting you know about a $10 price increase, along with the option to switch to the simpler, more affordable** Creative Cloud Standard** if you'd prefer, for $5 less.
• If you miss the email you can always change your plan under your Adobe Account (Manage Plan > Switch Plan).

**How does this affect Firefly plans? **
Firefly Standard, Firefly Pro and Firefly Premium plans all include unlimited access to standard generative features. For premium generative features. Firefly Standard gives you 2,000 credits/month, Firefly Pro gives you 7,000 credits/month, and Firefly Premium gives you 50,000/month. Any premium credits gained from Firefly Standard/Pro/Premium stack on top of credits you may have from other plans and you are able to purchase Firefly plans on a month-to-month basis.

As Luma AI’s first launch partner for Ray3, Firefly users get early access to the model. For the next two weeks, Ray3 will be available only in our Firefly app and on Luma AI’s Dream Machine platform.

**What is Ray3? **
Ray3 is Luma AI’s latest video model. It lets you generate up to 10 seconds of cinematic, high-quality video with greater realism and control than ever. It’s one of the first video AI models to support native High Dynamic Range (HDR) and it’s built on a new multimodal reasoning system that allows it to better understand the user’s creative intent, plan coherent scenes, maintain character consistency, and produce motion that feels natural.

**How can I access it? **
For the next two weeks, Ray3 will be available only in our Firefly app and on Luma AI’s Dream Machine platform. In the Firefly App you can find Ray3 a model option in Text to Video and Firefly Boards. As with all third-party models you use in Firefly, everything you create with Ray3 in Firefly can be synced to your Creative Cloud account, so you can bring your content into Adobe apps like Premiere Pro for more precise editing and refinement.

In today's update, we added Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana) and FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] to the latest build of Photoshop Beta.

**How do I access the new partner AI models? **
Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana) and FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] can be found in Photoshop Beta's Generative Fill workflow. Simply select the model you want to work with, describe the edits you want, then refine your results with Photoshop's layers, masks, and selections. All AI outputs are fully editable for complete creative control.

Who can use these? How much does it cost?
Partner AI models in Photoshop are available to everyone in beta for a limited time at no additional cost.

What about commercial safety?
We provide access to information on the partner models available in Adobe apps, but it is the responsibility of the creator to decide whether partner models are appropriate for their project taking into consideration factors such as the focus of the model, how it was trained, and whether or not it is safe for commercial use.

Will my content be used to train 3rd party models?
No. Just like with Firefly, your content will not be used to train generative AI models.

These integrations are aimed at creators and creative pros who want a faster way to jumpstart work and experiment with Adobe tools in a conversational workflow.

Here’s what you can do directly inside of ChatGPT:

Adobe Photoshop for ChatGPT

• Blur or remove backgrounds
• Apply creative looks like Glitch or Duotone
• Adjust brightness, contrast, and color with simple sliders
• Upload images via drag and drop and iterate in a conversational way
• If you're not happy with results, you can further adjust manually using sliders
• There is always an option of opening the image directly in Photoshop via web, and it will retain all adjustment layers applied in ChatGPT

Adobe Acrobat for ChatGPT

• Edit and organize PDFs using familiar Acrobat-style tools, including managing, merging or extracting content
• Clean up documents, make quick fixes, and keep everything inside the chat

Adobe Express for ChatGPT

• Search templates and spin up quick designs
• Swap colors, text, and images fast
• Great for social posts, quick mockups, and “I just need something decent in 5 minutes” moments

While the rollout starts today, Android support will be coming shortly after launch. This is only the beginning of our integrations, as we plan to add new capabilities to our apps within ChatGPT in the coming weeks.
