Firefly
Full Adobe Firefly FAQ: https://helpx.adobe.com/firefly/faq.html#using-firefly

What is Adobe Firefly?
Adobe Firefly is a standalone web application available at firefly.adobe.com. It offers new ways to ideate, create, and communicate while significantly improving creative workflows using generative AI and is designed to be safe for commercial use. In addition to the Firefly web app, Adobe also has the broader Firefly family of creative generative AI models, along with features powered by Firefly in Adobe’s flagship apps and Adobe Stock.

How do I access Firefly?
If you are a Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, Adobe Firefly, or Adobe Stock subscriber, your subscriptions now include access to Adobe Firefly and Firefly-powered features with no additional fees. If you are not a Creative Cloud subscriber, the Firefly standalone web application offers separate free and premium plan at Firefly.adobe.com.

What’s new with the Adobe Firefly Web App?
The new Adobe Firefly Image 2 (beta) Model is now available in the Text to Image feature in the Firefly web app. Image 2 (beta) also includes new features such as Generative Match (beta), Photo Settings, Prompt Suggestions, Negative Prompts, the ability to save to Creative Cloud Libraries and more. For more detailed information on the latest updates to Adobe Firefly, see here: https://helpx.adobe.com/firefly/using/whats-new/2024.html

What is Generative Match (beta)?
Generative Match (beta) in Firefly Image 2 (beta) to generate images based on the look and feel of an existing image and create images with a consistent style. It takes the style from a reference image and applies it to your generated Firefly images. You can choose from a wide variety of curated style images in the Firefly Control Panel or upload your own image. We require users to confirm they have the rights to any work that they upload to Generative Match as a reference image.

If I upload a reference image to Generative Match, is that image used to train the Adobe Firefly model?
No, we will not use uploaded reference images to train the model.

Can I use Image 2 and Generative Match outputs commercially?
Yes. Although Image 2 and Generative Match are in beta, you can use the outputs commercially.

Will Image 2 model roll out to additional products?
Our vision is to use the relevant model wherever it applies within the suite of products. In the case of Image 2, we aim to use it where images are generated. However, we do not have a fixed timeline yet for when this will happen.

Generative Credits
What are generative credits?
Generative credits provide priority processing of generative AI content across features powered by Firefly in Adobe applications. Generative credit counts reset each month. For more information about generative credits, please visit the following links:
