So is there a paper describing how the image generator is made / architected?

Something I am really confused about is that all the published models have multiple elements to them. They’re not “just” a blob of images go in, a “model” comes out

So for example, while I can believe that the latent diffusion part of the image generator uses only the Adobe stock images

The contrastive text encoder probably does not

So it is not truthful in either the sense of generalizing nor telling the whole truth when it’s claimed that the “model” “uses” “only” the stock library images, whatever that means

If it’s CLIP or T5 or whatever, those are trained on images from LAION for example. Those text encoders aren’t proven to work on the content of stock image sites, and they also can take months of huge supercomputers to train, unlike eg the diffusion + conditioning pass

I think it is unacceptable (a paid service) not to have a server that hosts all the creations of the client who pays for the service... on my cell phone I have access to some prompts (in the Safari browser), in Safari on my computer I have others (I had! Because the application stopped working in this browser, on my computer), in Chrome I have others (I had! Because I just lost them due to a forced “logout”); I would like to know how I can recover my entire history...😩

to add, favorites are stored locally so if you clear your browser your favorites will be gone, there's no way to retrieve them, and they don' transfer between devices, it's not ideal as the team is aware, but it is a solution in the meantime to be able to save and reuse prompts @prisma jacinth

Just sharing my thoughts: Even though I'm no math whiz, the range of content that Firefly can generate in simple terms is pretty much endless. However, there are some limitations. As many of us Beta Users have noticed, certain keywords with even an inkling towards violence (like those linked to guns) are sometimes restricted in the AI's output. Other than that, it seems like the possibilities are quite literally limitless and that is amazing!

Yep because Firefly is generating a Steampunk car and then a cat on it. The cat is only steampunk to keep the image in the same style. While in the second prompt it generates a cat in the car that's the prompt it interprets and then it applied the styles. But you prolly already knew that. (Extra info for users)

hey there. that may happen if there was a lot of the iterations, I've noticed it usually occurs when adding referenced images that were iterated. As for referencing the favorite, you would acess the particular seed and use reference image feature

hmm guess thats the reason theres a lot of iterations but at that point the saved favorite would be nowhere near the one that it generated first. so it would be particularly helpful actually having a "use as ref image" directly from the favorite image @astral jolt

other thing I noticed is that sometimes if you favorite one of those and then generate more, the slot where the first image I favor for was generated will already say "favorite"which means you cant save newly generated ones

Hey @oblique slate! Art is subjective, and sometimes the human form takes precedence, and I think Firefly acknowledges that. For example, if you were to enter "Greek statue Venus," the AI seems to base its data on the famous "Venus de Milo." Because (at least on my end) the AI generates an image similar to the famous statue - I think that there are conditions of whether or not, including how much, the human form will be presented. So, while the AI is not designed to show nudity in most constructs, I think it all depends on the context of the image.
