Easy fix. Clone Stamp it. Also how large of a selection are you making? The max size is 1280x1280 pixels. Ps/Firefly will stretch the generated image to fit.

Yeah, have heard that. And it's actually not a problem for us. What I intend to use it for, is internal communication. From game director, to producers, game designers, programmers, modelers, level designers etc. Basically, from text to video, improving vision communication exponentially.

I don't think it would fall under commercial use. Maybe someone from Adobe can comment, of course 😃 Don't want to tag them tho.

There are. Firefly is a web service and works in the browser. It has various tools and modes like Text Effects, for example. Photoshop (Beta) has "Generative Fill" and "Generative Expand" which creates pixels based on "selections" and the visible layers in the Photoshop Document.

it is weird, I started getting this error on my Mac Studio M1 Ultra about a month ago but I do not get it on my Macbook Pro M2. It used to work on Mac studio.
They are not currently on the exact same os version. Weird if that is the cause. Of course I will check if it changes anything when they are on same version.

We do not know when it will come out of beta since so many features still need to come out and are being added into other apps like how it is already in Ps beta, Ai, and Express. We also do not know if Firefly will be it's own app or just be integrated into other app. So no way of knowing the cost. Enjoy it while it's free.

updating the os did not change anything. as long as I can use firefly on my macbook and in Adobe express I am not going to spend hours on debugging why it is not working. I will just check from time to time if it starts to work.

btw I forgot totally to mention on my Mac Studio firefly do work in Safari so I would assume that the theory about firewall being the issue is off the table at least on Mac.

I opened chrome devtools, then selected application tab, then clicked on "Clear site data".

Then refresh page and voila, firefly back and I still have my favorites.

Check out Photoshop. Under Neural filters there is a plugin "Photo restoration" it does quite a good job, I tried on you image. There will still be manual work to do with removal tool. With your permission I can post what I could do in just 2 minutes. Bear in mind that I have never done photo restauration before, so the result can probably be better.

I don't know if anybody else thought of this before.

When we save a generated image as favorite it is saved in the browser so we do not have access to it from other computers and not even other browsers on the same computer.

But in the last update of Firefly we got the option to continue with the image in Adobe Express, so from now on I just send my generated images to AE and organise them there. I then have access to them from both my Mac Studio and my Macbook and when the AE mobile app is updated they will also be available there. And we can still update the images in AE.

you could also save the images and upload them to keep editing. Favoriting also keeps the prompt/seed to reuse it which is why some people might prefer that still @odd flame

The prompt is also saved in AE, only the seed is not. But I don’t see any advantage of downloading it in order to upload it to AE, am I missing something here?

For the warfare and combat yes, for the rest no except with skin if it's nudity. Firefly is still in beta and can sometimes falsely report skin as NSFW if that happens report it. I can generate droplet of water just fine.

If you want a model without censorship go to SD, in the end Firefly is for commercial use (after beta or when it gets announcement that it is allowed) so Firefly has to make sure the generated content is within the laws from various countries.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to create a pixel art style image. I have seen many great looking ones shared here in the share-your-work channel, but they don't include the prompts. I've tried things like "16-bit pixel art, full body character sprite" etc and variations of that with similar words. Any tips?

I saw no option to remove the watermark, so I just hid it behind the frame. It isn't removed. Anyway, it's just a placeholder until I can pay for real art. This isn't for sale.

Well, I say it isn't removed, but because the "pixel art" was so huge, I had to shrink it down to make it usable, rending the watermark a little red blob.

Arguments aside, what use case is there for this AI tool if it has to carry Adobe's brand on it perpetually? At least in my case, I am using these assets as part of something larger. I am not sure how I could incorporate them without it looking abysmal like above, defeating the entire purpose.

What if you put the artwork underneath and traced it one to one? Possibly with other colors or small deviations.

Because It's not strictly immoral. The owner of the copyright decides if it's ok or not. There are many companies out there, even big ones, that are totally okay with it. Just look at Etsy and you can easily see they are not shutting people down even after making $100k+

As for this one with Adobe, it's just a really nitpicky specific to say the watermark needs to be there. The watermark just gives credit. Why is it immoral to simply move that credit to a more appealing location?

enough.... the ask is that you keep the watermark on if the images is generated with it, its a part of the tos you signed when you joined the beta... we're not asking anyone to go out of their way to add the watermark back in if using generative fill in photoshop, but we do ask you leave it on when using firefly on the website

Sure. I can leave it on since it's just a placeholder anyway, but I'm not sure what use it is when it's illegible at this resolution. I've mentioned a few times that it would be helpful to specify the image size in the prompt. Is there a way I can do that so the watermark is made to scale with it?

Let me look around, usually people ask for upscaling. No there is no way to specify the output currently. Also, note its personal use only. Even with [almost] visible watermark.
