I mean, images of Darth Vader are copyrighted - which means they're probably not part of the library Adobe is pulling images from. From a business perspective making realistic images of a copyrighted character probably isn't high on their priority list.

Anybody have success with what prompt works for getting simple, line only like a coloring book or comic book inks. Made this by pulling from channels, but I figure there has to be a black ink, no greyscale prompt to get this result.

Lino cut, Black & White Color drop down, and line drawing have not worked. lots of grey which results in thinning of lines with levels.

Any ideas or have any luck?

The only way to keep an image for sure at present it to download it. As for adding to the prompt, have you used the reference image feature yet, it might be best to write the text first and then select the preferred image. This is done by clicking the three dots icon that appears in the top right when you hover over an image, note that the images need to be in grid view not slide view to do this.

They had the email to which invite arrived not as primary; They were signing in with via social accounts (social sign in). Does anything of the mentioned applies to your case?

Btw when you had a chat with support, did they tell you the exact dob you inserted? Also did you only ask them if they can edit it? I am still waiting for more info from the team but as per some colleagues, support should be able to remove the dob you inserted and after that when you log into your account, it should give you the option to insert your dob again. Might be worth a try while we are waiting for a solution, as that might fix your issue 🙂

'Adobe' and 'cheap' are not often used in the same sentence, lol- I think the major appeal to Firefly will be its integration into Creative Cloud apps, its UX, and not having to worry about any copyright infringement (which is a huge selling point for business/professional use)

It depends on what you're used to 🙂 If it's just MidJourney you are comparing it to, it's way more 'adobe-y'- instead of a Discord bot you have a proper web UI. But, if you're used to something like locally hosted Stable Diffusion, you'll feel it's limited

Most things you can customize in the web ui (just talking about text to image here) are things one would normally add in the prompt itself (things like dramatic lighting, or photography)

I know of something called AI image upscaler which takes about $25 for upscaling 500 images to 8k res. Do you know of anything better or more affordable? Yeah sure, though it was locally. A lot of upscalers are free but not all upscalers work for every type of content

The open source project 'upscayl' for instance uses real-esrgan, which is a decent upscaler for sure (though kinda slow sometimes!)

No problem! If you're into paid applications, you can look into Topaz Gigapixel which is a one-time-payment and runs locally as well (and fairly sure they have some free trial), but a bit faster and more customizable (though very likely uses similar upscaling methods)

Okay, so the idea is to use AI image generators make money. Obviously. So we need commercial access. Midjourney is too vague and I feel scared creating a business around it's assets... I've worked with clients with similar concepts, and it pretty much comes down to where your ethical line is and whether you prioritize quality over it

MidJourney will create the best images without prompting too much, but they do not have a public API.
Stable Diffusion (and in particular the upcoming SDXL) has an API, great results, but there is slight controversy about the usage of scraped material to train.
And of course there's Firefly, but it's in beta, there is no API yet as far as I'm aware, and the results are less good quality-wise compared to the other models (for now! Adobe has proven to be innovative in the AI space)

I see. Then I'd advice you to contact support and to tell them that your dob needs to be changed. Ask them if they can change it for you. (they should be able to) Still if the agent says they cannot change it, ask them what is the procedure to changing dob, there should be one.
As last resort ask him/her to remove your current dob, as this way the system should ask you to provide your dob when you go into your account after they have removed the dob.

For most time when people have access issue, the reason is they requested access with an email address with which they don't have an Adobe ID account.
To see which is the primary email address in your Adobe ID account, go to adobe.com -> click on your avatar -> view account, you will see your primary email address right under the button "Edit profile".
Then go to your inbox and see if you have received the invite to the same email address as the one you have in your Adobe ID account.
Also please make sure you do the process on desktop, ideally Chrome browser as mobile is currently not fully supported. 🙂

The main thing holding Adobe Firefly back is it's unwillingness to be utilized as it's promoted: a usable AI model for creatives to actually use AI to help instead of replace the process. But the watermark, the limited usage, the lack of integration - they're all barriers to its potential.

When a user has submitted request with one email address, but their Adobe ID use another email address as a primary one, there are 3 options I can think of in your situation:

1. You can try to update your primary email address in your Adobe ID account to match the email address to which you received the invite.
   After doing that, you may need to do a hard reset.

Steps for hard reset, follow all the steps, do not skip any:

• use one of these browsers: Chrome, Safari, Edge (preferably Chrome)
• use desktop device, mobile is not supported
• make sure the browser you use is updated up to date
• clear cache of your browser
• disable any ad blocker or any browser plugin you might have active
• log out from firefly
• restart you pc
• log in firefly
  Hopefully after the hard reset, you will be able to get in.

2. Another alternative would be for you to create a new Adobe ID where you register with the email address to which you received the invite.

not sur what you mean, if you requested access https://firefly.adobe.com/ then it's just a matter of waiting for the invite email. here is latest info on wait time depending on when you requested access: https://blog.adobe.com/en/publish/2023/03/29/adobe-firefly-beta-updates it was published on 3/29 so if you requested access on or before that date it will be approximately a month. After that and it could be longer although not necessarily. The team is processing requests as quickly and fairly as possible. @brazen knoll
