After all being banned they start harassing moderators and spamming them with friend requests on multiple platforms.

We don't take that lightly, but at some points we can not do certain steps as it is not publicly on this discord, that conversation was in and about behavior in a unit, best to do is report that type of DM conversations to discord themselves (even though I doubt they will read and act) and block the guy.

Best way to go with toxic people is to save all evidence and send it to 1 of the moderators to see if we can actually act on it, sometimes making a note on that account that if his name pops up again we can act harder or in very rare cases ban immediately (yes that does really happen even though it is not seen in public channels).

Just the calling out persons on discord is not oke, especially in a channel where conversations are not allowed(like LFU).
As example: name shaming to make sure that a person would not be able to join other units because that guy (talking about non-toxic person) could be a great guy but just not on his spot in that unit and a recruiting just shaming him to troll him to get recruited in a other (maybe even better) unit, every recruiter would not send that guy a DM, but does not know the entire story behind it.

And is it a toxic person gather proof and send it to a moderator as toxic people also don't belong on this discord.

And I have said it many times to many recruiters: setup a own discord for recruiters to discuss if a person is toxic or not 😉 + point on that is also that if a community is doing a big operations and want to invite other communties the lines are short, and some communties also want to merge but can not post it besides in the #communities_arma3 section every 14 days.

Best way to approach creating a group of "friends to play with" and to advertise on this discord: setup a discord and create a advertising in #communities_arma3 (following the template of that channel), many other people set up groups "of friends" that way before, that channel is not only for units but for all communities to advertise.

it's Discord's inappropriate content filter, nothing to do with mods. New accounts, banned and reactivated users, short messages sent within a small amount of time, everything that matches filters in Discord database causes that account to be auto-blocked by the system. User can appeal to Discord, but Discord will only reply with "if you think this is a mistake you can check our guidelines".

you can be flagged as a likely spammer if you post bot commands and frequently write when you're testing Discord features on your very private server. Been there seen things 😄

channels can be muted, whole categories can be muted and then you can hide the muted categories so they won't be ever shown again until you bring them back. Idk what "folders" are, you are literally able to reduce the amount of channels by the number of those that you don't need.

restructuring everything to use threads as a channel replacement would need a lot of work in such a big server, and they are overally cringe.
