hello! hows the community about trading/helping people out with materials? I've built up two different servers with friends and theyve stopped playing and now im in a pickle with getting Mauvine. i cant craft a mortar because i dont have Nitrate, dont have Nitrate bc i cant make a Mortar to get the quest to get the Lab

The mortar can be picked up from || the alchemist tower near Lone Thistle in Revelwood|| as part of a quest. Nitrate can also drop from breaking furniture and stuff in level 25ish areas. If you don't want to find them normally, you can join any resource server that basically has every item in the game. Search "resource" while looking in the dedicated servers list. Grabbing items you haven't unlocked yet though can disrupt or skip some quests, but that depends on how you want to play.

Dont get me wrong I love enshrouded because of the building mechanics the game has but in terms of openworld exploring it feels empty. Towns are only crowded with some enemies. Exploring the world feels meaningless after some time. Its much the same after all. Does someone feel the same?

I do not personally agree with any of that. Finding lore notes is a lot of the fun of exploring, as is just walking on foot through lovingly crafted spaces, be they ruins or wilderness.

as far as open world exploring it’s far from empty. it has one of the most expansive maps with some of the most interesting buildings and designs. add in voxel based terrain and water and it’s scenic overlooks and i’m just blown away!
i do however agree with the motivation to actually see the world can be a bit bland. like you said, after some time you have seen it and so seeing it again isn’t exciting.

Am i the only woman that finds most armors/outfits more male looking and not for females?

To me it kinda feels like they started with all male avatars, then went :” oh we need females because they might like it too, but we dont have the time or funds (time =money after all) to create more feminine looks of the armors”.

I would love to see the female armor have a bit more actual curves and femine look/feel to it.

its the minimum requirement. SOME people got it to work. but theres no real official support for that or anything other than pray to god. deactivate EVERYTHING else on ur pc and down ur settings to the absolute minimum of the minimum we could tell ya

Objectively wrong by the way.
They can't refine anything by not adding something new entirely, which is already teased as of the video they posted in #socials-feed. Please, don't spread misinformation and/or stay true to the facts. They've already teased new enemy behaviour and attacks, which might just be the tip of the icing because normally they don't share every info about an update.
I also doubt they'll suddenly starting to not add something new until release, which would be around 4 + 6+ months without something new. Please wait until the update dropped before going into assumptions.

with that said: the world of Enshrouded is really beautifully crafted and worth the journey. AAND the building system gives you much more options and freedom.

Enshrouded has better building mechanics and better graphics, and better water physics. Valheim has better survival elements and is more in tune of the "rough" journey which you'd see in a typical survival game. Enshrouded is quite forgiving in that aspect which some like and some don't.

Those are the core files that contain game resources; your saves are elsewhere. If you're on Windows, you can learn about save file placement and how to overwrite, back up or move them by typing /save here (the bot will give you a premade post with info).

Yeah, most of my animals don't breed anymore, either. It worked fine in the Pact of the Flame update, but in the Veilwater update I've only seen animals breed once or twice per world.

How do Flame Altars & Flame Levels work?

• Altar levels increase maximum size the altar covers, require varying flame levels and cost Shroud Cores.
• Flame levels are shared between all altars, they increase altar capacity, shroud levels and award attribute bonuses and shroud timer increase.

How do you remove an Altar?

• Interact with E and Extinguish the Flame
• A 30 second timer will begin (You can cancel this action before the timer runs out).
• After 30 seconds the altar disappears.
• The world flame remains the same.
• No materials are refunded.
• Any altar level is lost.

Any structures or items created by the player within the flame radius remain for 30 minutes, or if the player logs out/server is reset. Everything in the previous radius is reset.

Hello all. I wanted to ask some questions about the game before I jump in.

In regards to servers and concurrant caps is 16 the total for now or is there plans for higher?

Also in addition to that - when playing across servers your charscter and info travels with you including inventory?

your character and their knowledge unlocks and inventory travels with them, yes

but you can also have different characters, you select your character before you select your game mode so you can swap at will

all of the game can be played solo, but some parts of it are definitely harder when you're alone

some of the dungeons, and the boss fights

although having other players nearby means the enemies scale so it's not just a faceroll

but the game experience is fully customizable as there are world options you can set up that make the game harder or easier or more survival-oriented, to tailor to your group's preference

again, these are world-based, so you can have different ones, and you can even change it on a multiplayer save, just gotta set them up when you boot up the save!

this is to make it easier to play with your lil bro, or cool ageing uncle who grew up playing "the nintendos"

yes, in a way

right now you can already download saves and plug them into your folder, but it's a fiddly and annoying process

adventure sharing is basically "we will have a server hosting people's uploaded "adventures" and they can be downloaded straight from the game without intermediate steps"

and for 1.0 we will add features that will let players turn their worlds from just a day out visiting someone's creation to real dungeons and stuff, with the addition of traps, monster spawners, scripting logic, etc.
