A creative world is cool but a world like the bluepint world would be cool too. The lines help with measurements, it's flat so you can build anything, nothing to get in your way etc.

Im starting to feel like magic needs a revision. spells being ammunition feels weird when you also have an mp bar.
Mainly just feels kinda clunky. It takes up a lot of inventory space when it might be better to craft spell pages to log into a book or something. Itd also give me a reason to pick up books for more then just decoration.

But im also a melee build so only gliding boost uses my mana otherwise

I can't help but still be real dissapointed in weapons for enshrouded. Most of them end up being pointless 🤔 and I still am not fond of the RNG drop nature either.
Would rather they are crafted and/or we could actually fine tune what the bonuses for tiers are.
With how things are, nothing beats my lvl 25 frost sword for my build... of which was acquired by spam reloading and running to a loot chest.
Was just curious what other peoples sentiments on weapons might be?
Oh I know, was chatting here when the new roadmap was dropped and I 100% look forward to the tree being completely overhauled as well. Just now feeling like I would love a new approuch for weapons also. Gear is mostly just ok as crafted sets.

Am I wrong in that each weapon will always have the same upgrade-able stats? I haven't been playing long but I thought the weapons would be more random in that regard. It looks like the only thing that changes is level range and maybe damage? Not sure on that last one.

Yes and No. Every weapon you find will ALWAYS have the same stats available to you, however you can sometimes find weapons in lesser rarity versions than their max available one. When you do, it is basically just an all around lesser version as you can't upgrade it as much as the higher rarity versions.
And there is quite a few weapons which do not have max rarity version at all, so those already are clearly less valuable (and I pretty much ignore almost every weapon that is not legendary rarity).
The level 25 Legendary quality ice blade is my go to, with the respectable 65 base damage, fast moveset as 1H sword, and +15% crit chance. My set up has 50%^ crit chance and 165%^ crit damage bonus.
I am hitting for 350 damage nearly every hit it feels like.
None of the weapons in the level 30-35 range can compete with it haha (For a 1H melee build that is)
The battle heal node also means I get a 5% max health heal every time I crit... hehehe

I've been rocking my Epic Frostwing axe, it has Health Leech on hit, no crit needed. I think that only puts me at 35% crit with my current spec but the constant healing is really nice
I'll only switch out once I get a legendary Champions Axe 2-hander since it also has Health Leech
I do appreciate fast weapons though. I feel zippy as hell being able to hit/roll/lunge and hit. Even better with a group around me.

I carry a wand for the bugs or other flying enemies. Can't really get by with melee alone unless you are ready for longer fights than neccessary.

I'm not usually into the crafting side of games, if there was too much crafting I side-stepped, but progress is crafting and lore/map exploration lends to the crafting and map progress. In that sense, I really thought it was smart how they incorporated the questing/exploration/crafting as a united whole.

Unfortunately no, it doesn't scale with any of the ice magic nodes, only the ranger nodes as do regular arrows. Personally I'm hoping that gets revamped during the combat update they're planning
I mean, you can rely on it and do reasonably well, especially with the skill that restores mana on a crit, but it's always going to be outperformed by regular arrows aside from not needing to craft

Worth noting, if you're good at landing headshots and take the backstab perks, it's honestly not terrible
But your damage scaling will be tied to dex so it's difficult to get everything you could out of it if you're building a hybrid

Not really. The assassin set kind of, but you're not far from (IMO) one of the better looking helms in the game, the deerstalker
At level 23 it's a solid armor for some time and beyond that you can still use it as a cosmo

Personally I have an entire chest full of useless weapons I just like the look of because I was anticipating being able to wall mount everything and that eventually we'd have cosmetic weapon slots. Keep that in mind as you're looting xD

Nah, everything respawns, aside from certain exceptions most loot is RNG, so it's just a matter of finding it again. Though, not everything spawns in every location so keep track of where you found them

Cos if you're tabbing out to actually look at the preview and this is turned on your fps is gonna drop to 10 cos you're tabbed out
Just tested it on my discord server and it seems fine for me. I set my settings to stream in 1080p "smoother video".
If you want to check it from your POV without it disabling your preview, pop it out and it'll still show you what others would see rather than showing you a black screen
Then you don't have to tab and tank your fps
Right that's all the advice I have for now, let me know how you get on @novel barn

- have a bit more precision when rotating blocks (e.g. currently blocks may only be rotated by 45 degree increments)
- have quarter or half-sized block options for each block type that way we could still make things look round
- have new build shapes like prefabbed rounded walls and any number of other cool things.
if anyone knows of any hacks to achieve such a task i would greatly appreciate the shared wisdom. i think i stumbled across someone saying go much thicker on your walls and then custom shape them yourself by whittling your own.

Pretty sure it's a typo, and gives you minutes! Limited impact as soon as you get some comfort in the base (1 hour rested is easy to achieve), but helps if you die and need to rest in the wild

where would I go to find information about the Hollow Halls barriers and the seal guards that unlock them? It seems after a while the barriers reclose even if you are still in the Halls. So if you and your party run out of resources and one of you goes to resupply... the barriers reclose, but the seal guards do not respawn.

Thanks for the response. We took about 30 minutes to get to the cyclops, but ran out of arrows and bandages. So, I recalled to base and ran back. When I got back in the barriers and mobs were back up but the seal guards were not. We left and closed out the game, came back 3 hours later and did some things for about 2 hours and decided to go back to see if the seal guards reset. They did not.

I think being better prepared would be a better strategy, take more arrows and bandages, make sure you've got plant fiber or string then you can craft bandages as you go along with the torn cloth from the skeletons

Getting the blast furnace should be your 1st goal when you reac h the cold area. With that you can the make the gear to spend lots of time in the frost zone. Full gear with food buff and pocket heater give you plenty of time to explore without having to rush.

Why? Let's be honest, as it is the implementation of mages in this game is not even close to being one of the best. It becomes kind of decent in the middle game with endless fireball ans ice bolt, but still is rather primitive 'cheese as much as you can and spam fireballs' and don't get hit as it's one- or two-shots for you otherwise

A flash drive is simply going to have a read/write speed that is just too slow. It MIGHT load, but there is a high chance you'll have issues in one form or another.

Even just the first four nodes of the tank branch makes a big difference
6 points to increase your physical resistence and double your starting HP

The first four nodes. Two should be con nodes and two should increase your physical armor by a total of 20%
20 may not sound like a lot, but it's usually the difference between being 1-shot or not

Also if you're dying easily, look at your foods and whether you can craft better ones than you're currently using
Since you don't gain direct strength from levels your nodes, equipment, and food are effectively your level. Improving those is how you level up
I recommend those nodes for any build. For 6 points they do a lot for your survivability

Though honestly while Albaneve is a great expansion and extends the end game, if you guys felt like it was stale it might be better to wait until the next content update drops. We just had a small-ish update not long ago, so the popular thinking is that another big drop with potentially a map expansion is coming. Nothing confirmed of course, that's just been the pattern

All I can say is always keep flax running in garden. Then depending on the food you want for your build. Keep up on those and occasionally plant redwood tress for resin when needed. IDK if anyone has done a spreadsheet or if there is one on the WIKI.

OMG i thought enshrouded was starting to look dark and dull. Then i realized that Auto HDR was not popping up when i start the game. Indeed its no longer playing in HDR...... How to fix.. FML Turns out that if you Disable V-sync Auto HDR wont work. Enable V-Sync and suddenly Auto HDR pops up and the game looks great again XD

Im fortunate to have a MSI QD-OLED Moniter With Propper HDR not the "Slap a sticker on fake HDR" some cheep moniters get. Games look great with Windows HDR. I haven't had the issues some people have had with Windows HDR luckily
