Started the game again after a few weeks - but now when I press a movement key (WASD) the char just moves veeery slowly in that direction. starting to run fixes it for that movement initation but when I stop moving and then press a movement key again, char again moves basically in place - does someone know what might be the cause?

actually pressing any button it for that one instance of movement initiation - even pressing stuff like "F" or "G". But as soon as I only press "W" "A" "S" or "D" the char starts to move in that direction for a millisecond, after that he basically stops moving (walks on the spot)

I joined this game for building. I have spent 270 hours in this game, completing quests, grinding mats (TOOK A LOT OF TIME) and etc. it's such a long process for what i wanted to mainly do in this game: build. So therefore i choose to use resource world for my purpose since i have a project in mind and having to grind that much....for days is not very fun. The targeting for the wand is quite bad. Why does the dot for which enemy you are targeting, appear about twice the distance, of when you can actualy hit the mob. Then when multiple mobs are near you, it doesn't hit the mob you look at. No no, it hears some other mob, so you don't kill the mob infront of you. So you get hit instead

Yeah that targeting is really annoying. LOTRO has the same issue, you hit tab to target nearest and it targets something off to the left or the right or behind you, everything EXCEPT the enemy that is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU hitting you.

Once you have the blacksmith, get the Rising Fighter set, it gives extra HP and also HP Regeneration, which is really useful. And somewhat easy to get, so long you have metal scraps to get metal sheets

Aswell as Gemini rings they get dropped by lvl 5 monster

I have seen a couple of other people mention not being able to get this quest as well. I'm not sure if this is a bug or something overlooked by returning players yet, but I think I might mention it to the devs just to be safe, since I have seen more than 3 mention it now. Can you be sure that you have completed all the required quests and/or flame levels to acquire the quest (I'm not sure what they are, myself)?

Im not 'returning' to an old save, ive replayed it from clean new slate.

Im not sure either whst quests are involved, i was at flame level 5 and had progressed to iron and last ghost glider and was very far along, hunter gave me a much higher level quest that needs next flame level to enter as its covered in red shroud towards the bottom right'ish

I feel the loom quest popped up much earlier last time i replayed,
Feels the current quest was beyond the loom one.

There seems to be some wonky stuff going on sometimes when you do things a 2nd time like i coukdnt unlock shrines anymore and had to use a new character for it on a new server.
Coukdnt do it with my main for some reason idk if thats fixed by now was before last patch

And it might need to not have all of them squeezed into a couple of npcs like it is.

Those issues were post HH update and pre Mire update, If I were to take a guess it had to do with that tracking they were doing for the personal quests, but it should be gone now that they have implemented the feature - at least I haven't seen anything in troubleshooting or reddit.

A friend hosted a designated server for us when Enshrouded first came out using Linux & it ran super smooth, little to no major bugs. We haven't played since then and the devs released 2 updates since. Now the server lags every time multiple ppl teleport at the same time or when players arrive to the same area as each other. We also regularly get notifications in the bottle left of the screen that say things like "server overloaded, expect hiccups" etc. Anyone else experience issues similar to this? Is there a fix? Is it just broken temporarily? Not enough bug fixing before release or what?

Are u playing solo? B/c we have only 4 ppl and we literally have to say "im teleporting" to ensure everyone is aware it may lag super hard or freeze screen and to make sure nobody else teleports with u. Also randomly even with that precausion we still get lag so bad all of us die when it ends. I'd call that pretty broken

I think they're just saying that one user having issues does not mean the game is "severely broken", which I'd agree with. Generally speaking we have not seen a substantial uptick in technical issues with the update. That said we're aware that some dedi servers are having more connectivity issues than before, the team's aware of it and looking into it.

They really aren't to be honest, I'm not sure what region you're in but I've been analyzing the reviews the past few weeks for internal documentation reasons and I would say most of the uptick in negative reviews has come from the mage nerfs more than anything (which we're also looking into)

There were some bugs introduced with the major update, but honestly that's kind of the case with every major update in every game. It's impossible to catch everything. That said our QA guys are some of the best I've worked with so I know they're aware of all the ones I know of.

Hello guys. So I've made myself a full set of armor and I've equipped it all, but there were 2 buttons: Equip and Equip (with little stars next to it). Now I look in my character sheet and the helmet and the gloves are invisible, but I'm clearly wearing them. Is this a bug? (Can provide screenshot if needed)

I can't post it here. It says nothing under "Effective Gear" in the helmet slot and glove slot.

But it does have both of them under "Cosmetics".

Rings are entirely random drops from creatures and gold chests for the area that you're in - Level 25-30 mob areas will drop the best rings (especially Ring of the Ancients). Shields can be crafted by the blacksmith now, I believe, for the better ones.

There's some other good farms.

Just south of the kindlewastes tower, across the ledge, there's two gold chests that are easy, and a level 30 hollow ruin you dig in the sand for that has 3-4 silver and gold chests that drop level 25+ gear.

Locations 4 and 5 here are particularly quick, and the Hollow ruins I mentioned are right to the east of Location 4. So I finally got my end game tank gear (Woot!) but I had previously transmogged my armor... When I put on the new armor it had no aesthetic change to my character... I thought "Oh so the transmog is permanent on the character and will always apply no matter what item is there or is not there"

I then de-geared, and right clicked Equip ✨ (to apply appearance) and my character then had the correct appearance. Now though, all of these items have disappeared.

Did I just delete all my end game gear?

If so, is the only option to make 2 whole sets of that armor if you have transmogs on, one to wear, and one to sacrifice for the appearance?

So in the transmog menu, on the right, all of the Warden armor set is applied -- On the left (Effective gear) nothing is applied -- Also from my backpack, where all my warden gear was and which I used to transmog, all that gear is gone

but if you are on a new character, none of the map should be uncovered. You might want to make sure you selected the right character to play from the main menu if it does show the map as partially explored.

I ran into this with my xbox controller - it was frustrating for quite a while. ultimately to solve it i really just try and not touch the stick at all while doing long glides. i also found that switching to the glider below that ghost one - in dungeons - made getting to like the runes in the halls much less frustrating because it is a slower glider.

this is what it seemed like to me. also in tight spaces - the fastness of the top glider - it's imposible to make turns. which makes sense if you think about how a car handles. 😉

It has nothing to do with the HDD, just that the glide controls need to be more precise especially when you're trying to pickup Runes floating in the air.

idk if this helps - but i noticed this in horizon as well when doing the races - as a controller player we are used to using the left stick - and with the glider you almost cant - it is very sensitive. but the glider is gonna move forward no matter what. so it's easy to forget and put yourself in a dive or drift left or right. it took a bit to retrain my thumb to not touch the left stick in the halls.

which i solved by just moving to the other upgraded one. that is slower.
