Yeah updates are the broad umbrella term; patches and such are updates aswell as those with content. Drivers update, files are being updated via patches and so on - its how devs have used the word since the first gcc myprogram.c ^^

I think in this case it was just an oversight. In-studio they're all able to play together at once while testing. So quest progression happened all at once, and they just didn't take into account different time zones or work schedules for many players.

i believe you only need two tables: dining and bedside. at least those are the only two i have and i'm at 73. there's also a bug or two with certain items counting or not counting: you only need one wall decoration of any kind (painting or trophy, don't need both, even though in-game description suggests they're different categories) and there's also some weirdness with benches where you benefit from both stone and one of the other non-stone ones. i don't remember the exact details of that though. there's a steam community thread out there somewhere with a full list of exactly what you need for 73 comfort.

Yep. If you climb some of the taller mountains you can see the unfinished parts of the map to the north and west.

Also, in the map screen the map border goes well beyond the current playable area.

From what I remember from the AMA answers it sounds like the next level cap increase will probably come with the next map region that gets added, but there's no ETA on it because developing a whole new region will take time.

I'd assume it jumps by 5-10 levels with the release of the mountain biome depending on the scale of the biome and if it encompasses both mountain areas. Just do your quests, being level 25 and finished with current content is likely going to be the launching point for the next content drop anyway.

For me, the [Necromancy] skill is currently broken when using the Cryptic Wand. After several hours of testing and hundreds of killed enemies not a single skull spawned. As soon as I switch to an ice or fire-based wand, they spawn (at a rate matching the skill description). I don't have another shock wand yet -- could someone check if they get skull spawns for other shock wands?

With a 10% chance of happening and then not happening for more hundreds of enemies, the chance of it being bad luck is extremely small (after 200 kills not getting one if it should be 10% is already a chance of less than 1 in 14 million). It is definitely broken. As soon as I switch to fire or ice wands, I get spawns every now and then (feels like 10%)

1000% agree. I've suggested many times the blue texture not only detracts from the beautful wood grain and metal textures on the chests which blend nicely with your building environment, but they are a clash and an eyesore to look at. They should get rid of the overall blue texture and have the symbols on the front of the chest glow. Also the number of symbols on the chest should indicate the size/capacity. 1 symbol (top) = small, 2 symbols (each side) = medium, 3 symbols (top and each side) = large, 4 symbols (top bottom and each side) = huge, for example.

This is the only Ornate Gold Chest I know of (apparently theres only a few in the game) where I looted two of these wands. The altar I am mousing over says Home level 2, you can relog and farm this chest for items until you get what you are looking for. Just be careful trying to get there at lower level

Take a few flame laters along and drop them after so much progress so you can at least get back to where you were if you get killed

Ive seen videos where lower level players reach the Sun Temple and loot the Ghost Glider so it's doable, it's just not so easy

I would actually watch a video of low level player getting to Sun Temple before trying to give you some tips, the chest is relatively on the way. Then you can get the Kindlewaste Spire while you are there that will make things much easier

My advice, is to always look for how you are going to LEAVE before you ENTER.
That way, even if you get lost, you can look at the map or compass to find a way out quickly

When you upgrade to flame level 6 all the red shroud on the map should be blue. EXCEPT the red lava will always kill you and it's all over the place. They also like to hide small patches of it inside normal shroud so you fall in if your not paying attention.

So look out for holes

I had a perfect run taking out an Elixier Well in Kindlewastes except the last moment when I went to run over to the red tree to chop it down I didn't see the multiple little holes with red lava at the bottom they had placed around it which I fell in an it killed me. I just shook my head.

I am... REALLY aanoyed by the last part of the kindlewastes hollow halls.

Right now I'm stuck in a place that I can't die because I rolled into a "hole" in the mycelium trying to glide down the shroudfall. I've already died a dozen times because you can only see 5 feet infront of you, and have had to retrieve my loot a number of times. Now I'm going to need to close and start all over because I can't die, even with the shroud timer expired, because I'm not touching the ground.

Can the devs implement a "stuck" button to kill yourself and go back to the last shrine?

so what i did was just hit the roof which stops your glide then fall about halfway towards the lava then reopen wings...had to keep doin that til i got to platform

I hope before release they really scrub this tunnel and make sure there's no places to get stuck or land long enough that your loot gets out there, already had to recover my loot multiple times.

you need good stam regen for that though so if you try that then bring good stam regen food

Do heal spells that heal nearby allies also heal the caster??? Like Water Aura...

Water aura skill will heal the person with the skill ad well. Chain heal will not. Heal channel might, if it decides to path properly.
