I was able to target the problematic extensions

NoScript, Ublockorigin, and canvas blocker are problematic extensions that prevent vencord firefox userscript from loading properly.

For Noscript: Just allow discord.com to use unrestricted CSS. with the default rules

for canvas blocker, im not sure what to allow discord to use for it to stop breaking, as of right now, the fix is by simply disabling canvas blocker for dicord

I’ve been experimenting with Voicemeeter and stereo audio routing, and I’m trying to confirm whether Discord voice calls can transmit stereo panning when using Vencord. I’ve seen some users mention Lightcord as a workaround, but since I’m already running Vencord I’d prefer to stay here if possible.

My question: Does Vencord currently have (or plan to add) a plugin/patch that forces stereo audio in voice calls? For example, something that modifies the voice transport options to set channels = 2 and preserve left/right panning effects.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Hi, I'm kind of assuming this should be a known issue but I couldn't find it in #1257025907625951423 , every time discord gets an update I have to reinstall vencord and the only way to fix this is to use vesktop. I WOULD use vesktop if the loading icon wasn't a furry, I don't really have a problem with furrys, but I do open discord around my parents and my friends a lot and that can spark some... interesting conversations that I'd rather avoid.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

I've been trying to find a common denominator for this and the only things I'm finding is Vencord/Vesktop; but it could just be me. Do images get stuck loading for anyone else? It just happened for me and I was able to open Discord on the web (no Vencord) and it loaded instantly, same with Discord PTB; but on my release client with Vencord it just...takes forever. It will eventually load, but it loads in like dialup. It's on both Mac and Windows. It's happened across a few versions.

Last time this happened on my Macbook I closed Discord, uninstalled Vencord, reopened the client and it loaded instantly. However when reinstalling Vencord it goes back to loading slow.

It's...strange...wondering if anyone else has these experiences or if it is just me.

Discord was also running very poorly and lagging when scrolling up and down for me the last 3 days. I tried enabling hardware acceleration and while it replaced smooth scrolling with instant scrolling, it fixed the lag for me. Maybe try that

A server I'm in uses starboard that quotes the starred messages while also reposting them so this plugin adding an embed displaying the same content is redundant. The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back
