This plugin was always meant as a tool for adults who don't want to give Discord their birthday/ID.

But obviously there's nothing stopping minors from using this which is troublesome legally and possibly could lead to me being legally liable for distributing it.

Bypassing it is also becoming progressively harder with the changes Discord is making to abide with UK and Australia law.

As such, I no longer feel comfortable providing this plugin. If you rely on this plugin (as an adult), find a suitable third party replacement from elsewhere.

I don't understand what you mean by this. Is discord keeping the updater open while discord opens? Is discord opening the quickcss window or devtool windows?

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

It's a discord bug. According to jamesbt it's somehow related to the visibility of the server boost meter. if you scroll down far enough in a server's channel list the escape key should work. It also won't happen in servers without boosts.

you can also use the X icon on the right side of the screen to stop replying to people, same for the search function.

Technically yes, we have a very barebones app for android: VendroidHowever, it suffers from many issues and thus is not recommended for daily use (nor is it actively being worked on)

Instead, we recommend the following alternatives:

• Pyoncord (discord server) ~ supports both android & ios. uses the latest discord mobile app
• Aliucord (discord server) ~ android only. uses the old (now ~2 years old) version of the discord android app

That's the main thing of discord, it is not related to vencord. They are called ghost windows, in order to delete them press Ctrl+Shift+Esc and search for windows explorer, right click on it and then restart it. Ghost windows will be deleted.

Ok. Please note my case as a possible bug report at least then.
I did not have this issue when I started using Vencord, and it seemed to trickle in around two months ago.
Ever since it has stopped working every week or so. I'm confident that it has occured without discord receving any version change, so I honestly DO NOT believe it's a discord client problem. (More inclined to believe its related with whenever Vencord updates on my system tbh)

Only known difference outside of hardware between me and my friend's system is that I'm still on W10 and he has upgraded to W11. I can provide some contact info if you would like to discuss the possibility of investigating a fix further.

I have two issues/questions.

1. I downloaded vencord with the hopes of making a keybind that can toggle noise supression and echo cancellation and such (so they don't mute my mic when playing the piano) but I can't seem to find out if this is or is not possible to do.

2. Enable transparency seems to have done nothing, I downloaded Dark Matter, one of the highest rated themes off of the better discord website and enabled it. This worked, but I could not get the transparency to work. I decided to try the online themes route and deleted the css theme. However it stayed applied. I put the link in the online themes section and it shows up as valid, but I can't seem to enable or disable the theme. I tried adding several links and they all show up as valid. My discord is currently so laggy that it's barely usable. PLEASE HELP! If nothing else, is there an easy way to fully uninstall vencord. I need my discord to be usable.

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

Hello sorry to disturb I'm not sure where to ask but I re-installed windows 11 and vencord and since that I can not capture a single game fullscreen. The game captures but shows 1 frame every once in a while. I never had this issue before re-installing Windows so I know the issue is around it. The most likely cause is that your install is outdated. Check if there's any updates. You can either do so using our inbuilt updater, or if you cannot get there due to crashes or similar, use the "Update Vencord" in the Installer.

If you're all up to date, try reinstalling with the installer anyway!

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

its not a plugin problem, the plugin's job is to unlock the option to stream with nitro quality thats all,
but what you can check is
go to : usersettings--->advanced
and check if hardware acceleration is on/off, if its off, turn it on (but its gonna consume more resources ofc)
and go to usersettings--->Voice & Video, Video tab
and check the hardware acceleration option there too, lmk if that helps
