i think if you get the install location vencord should work but expect it to break at any moment

When loading Vencord it doesn't load any of my theme files, I have to toggle them off and on again on every restart/reload of discord. QuickCss seems to not be effected though.

Tried:

• Using Reinstall/Repair in the installer (v1.4.0)
• Restarting my PC

If the theme doesn't load try to toggle it in the theme settings, if that fixes it know that it is only a temporary fix since it will come back after a reload of discord. A hotfix is moving the file content into the quickcss feature since that still works. Many people have this issue so it will (likely) eventually be resolved by an update.

it says it is going to run it with sudo so i put my password and said that im not in the sudoers file. i then entered su then tried it and it said to do this as a normal user

you set a root password during the install of debian, at that window it was your mistake for not fully reading it, if you enter a root password it doesn't install sudo and doesn't add you to the sudoers if you left it blank and click continue it would install sudo and add you to the sudoers file

Hey guys, I was on linux before but for reasons I've changed to Win10. Now on Win10, which doesn't have an audio subsystem like Pipewire. While streaming with sound now, the vesktop audio (including other user's talking) is captured by the stream and echoed back to users in the stream. I've looked at several github issues which echoed this, however they seemed to have been removed / closed without a real solution (issue #569 and 789). Digging through the issues I found https://github.com/Vencord/Vesktop/pull/1068. Their suggestion was to use Voicemeeter, but I wanted to ask if there is any work around? If the answer is just go learn a 3rd party tool I suppose thats fine, but quite a hassle.

I should add that on the official discord binary, audio separation works perfectly fine. The discord app gives me the steam options like the first image, where as Vesktop only gives the old UI + an option to "share system audio" or not, which seems to capture everything including other people talking to me. Any and all help would be very very apprecitated !! :)

Im not cut out to be a webdev lol, in betterfolders the folder opens but none of the assets are there to load in the empty space. i don't know where "Servers sidebar" links back to. in comparison to running the plugin without the sidebar (the main thing thats broken, everything else seems to work)

like the element 'betterFoldersSidebar' appears but inside of that section <nav></nav>, it only holds a referenced class and a label of "Servers sidebar" while the mode without sidebar enabled (doesnt open a new gap in discord so there is no need for a <nav> section) is actually listing the servers within that folder. Im not about to go and look through the references for betterfolders but theres a function that's defiantly getting called that either doesn't work or doesn't exist anymore. spesificly the one that fetches the data of the servers that you have in that folder.

hopefully soon a webdev (not me, I am the amature) can solve this conundrum that has forced us BetterFolders enjoyers to use folders without sidebar. #GodIWishTheSidebarWereFixed

Hoping this is the right place. New to editing Discord's UI elements with CSS snippets, in the hopes to make adjustments after Discord added the new UI. I'm striving for a mix of both.

At this time, I've not used a theme, and the CSS snippets I've used from the channel change these aspects:

• Server icons to circles
• Chat bar alignment
• Title bar redesign
• Server icon size

This list is not needed and nothing to my knowledge shouldn't be causing the following issue:
There is no space between the title bar and the Direct Messages icon, which really bothers me. I've tried using the search function to see if there's a fix or if other people are having this gripe; No dice.
I've tried to consult ChatGPT in adding a space, but for whatever reason, it seems to ignore margin-top and padding commands.
I can see some screenshots of other people with a space there; Probably because they have a theme.
How do I fix this?
